Shadow Fire

Silver dropped to his knees, his shoulders shaking, joyful tears dropping to the floor. "I knew you could do it..." he choked out. "I always will believe in you... Ethan... because... I love you..." Snappy cast a glance over at his trainer and smiled, before looking back up at the screen. "I'm glad you're okay, Cynder... Well done..." Back in the hall, Lance recalled Kairyu with a smile. "…It’s over..." he said softly. "But it’s an odd feeling. I’m not angry that I lost. In fact, I feel happy. Happy that I witnessed the rise of a great new Champion!"

Sometime later, the two finally arrived at the top, and upon entering, Link noticed Gorons beginning to approach him. Oh, shit...

Belbet shook his head. "He cares for Lusca..." he said softly. "But the shine in his eyes is different than to when you're around. His eyes really sparkle. I think he... would rather be with you..."

Kairyu was stunned as the fire mouse slammed into his chest, but used his tail to swat it down. The two Pokemon stared each other down, Lance gritting his teeth. Out in the main hall, Silver was watching, hoping that Ethan would be able to make this a victory. "Ethan..." he mumbled softly. "Please..." Back in the battle hall, Kairyu weakly panted, staring down at the small Pokemon, before giving a sleepy smile. "You win... I can't... stay... awake..." Eyes closing, Kairyu fell to the ground, unable to battle.

Link gave a slight grin, which he tried to keep hidden. "Uh..." he began. "Maybe you should try?" Because I want to see your body again...

Link held the item above his head, somehow imagining a strange musical tune that should be playing. Shaking his head, he blushed and brought the letter down, before putting it carefully in his pocket. I should probably go now, to help the princess...

The hedgehog blushed, his expression surprised, before moving back to his previous position, above Sheko. "It..." he began. "I guess it is... And while I've never done this, I seem to know what to do... Sheko... what... do you want me to do first?"

Kairyu was panting heavily, having used up a lot of power from that attack. It glanced at Cynder in admiration. For a Pokemon so small, it certainly was powerful. "You have my respect... Let's finish this..."

Kaito walked home silently, smiling sadly. They were so kind... I only hope that the two young ones are happy together. That boy... Len... he seemed so familiar to me, but at the same time... Closing his eyes, the prince gasped suddenly. "It can't be..." he murmured. "Len... that was the name of Kiiro's prince and... Damn... what if it wasn't... I must make haste!"

Kairyu managed to dodge most of the attack, getting clipped by some. The big Pokemon glanced over at his trainer, before giving a nod. Lance, holding a concerned look on his face, hesitantly nodded. "If you think it's necessary..." he said. "Kairyu... Draco Meteor!" The dragon Pokemon let out a loud howl, the room darkening, before a big light seemed to shoot downwards. A massive meteor slammed into the ground, causing heaps of damage. Silver, watching the battle on the Pokemon Center's television screens, gave a gasp of horror. Ethan! No!

Taking the woman's hand in his, Kaito placed something inside it, whispering it was his thanks to her for being so kind. Moving away, he went outside and began the long journey back to Aoi.

Feeling he just had to believe the princess, Link nodded, giving a slight smile.

Kaito gave a warmer smile, before glancing at the closed door he knew Haru and Len were behind. "They're bonded..." he continued. "They share a love that knows no boundaries. I... envy them. I only hope that they can continue to keep that light. For now though, I must bid you goodnight, and I hope to see you all again."

~ANOTHER SHORT FAST-FORWARD~ Kairyu was panting heavily, but it still had a lot of power left. It glanced down at Cynder, the opposing trainer's final Pokemon. This battle was the fiercest he'd had in two years. "Kairyu..." Lance murmured. "You're doing great. It's now down to you and him, friend. Regardless of the outcome, I'm proud of you. Now, let's do our best to finish this battle. Hyper Beam!" The Dragonite stood tall, before opening its mouth wide. Orange light began to build up, before he unleashed it.

Having just stood, the blue-haired male glanced over at Koto, before giving an uncertain smile. "Are they okay?" he asked softly. "How are they?"

Lance grinned, also feeling exhilirated. Giving a nod to Ethan, his face went battle-serious. "Kairyu!" he called out. "Dragonbreath!"

Link continued to stare, suddenly gasping as Ganondorf turned his head, having realised he was being watched, before giving a wide smirk. Stepping away from the window, the green-clothed boy turned to face Zelda again. "..."

Len slept peacefully, snuggled close to his love, completely unaware of the conversation being had around him.

Silver watched the screen, Snappy watching his trainer's expressions. The red-haired teen had his hands balled into fists. C'mon, Ethan... you can beat him... ~SOME TIME LATER~ Lance was down to his last Pokemon, his Dragonite Kairyu (which is Dragonite's official JP name, lol), giving a wide grin. "All right!" the dragon master cheered. "I thought this would never happen!"

Link clambered up after Diggs, giving a gasp as he got to the top. A strange rock-like creature glared at the two, before curling up, rolling down towards him. Realising it was likely a Goron, Link snapped his fingers, the Iron Boots appearing on his feet. Getting his stance ready, he gave a smirk as the Goron hit his hands, the blond grunting as he pushed back, stopping the Goron in his tracks before throwing him down the mountain. "They work..." he breathed suddenly. "They stop me from being affected by the Gorons' power."

The door opened slowly, a soft voice floating into the room. It was Koto.

Link pulled away, catching his breath. When Diggs said they should continue, the boy nodded. "Okay..." he mumbled softly. "Let's get this sorted out. The sooner we get everything done, the sooner we can live happily."

Images made their way into Shadow's mind, and he instinctually knew what the mechanics were. But he still didn't understand the relevance. "Sheko..." he purred, pulling away from the kiss for a moment. "I hope you forgive me... I don't really know what it is I'm doing. All I know is that I somehow want this..." His lips were once again pressed to Sheko's, his body rubbing up against the hedgefox's. A strange sensation came to between his thighs, breaking the kiss to see something he'd never seen before. ...what the hell is that? It has a good feeling, whatever it is.

This is really something else. I'm really looking forward to this game.
