One of the hyenas examined Sheko closely, before writing down notes. "Subject is responding well to tests..." he said softly. "Transfiguration completion expected within the hour..."

Link pushed the door closed, before reaching for Diggs, peeling his shirt off and tossing it to the side. "the quest can wait..." he said, trailing kisses over the brunet's neck. "Fair is fair, and it's your turn. I want you, now."

Shadow's eyes widened, before narrowing. "So..." he growled. "They take Sheko away... I'll get him back..." The question was, how?

It wasn't too long before they arrived back at Ordon Village. Link dismounted Epona, but instead of heading into the village, he headed for his house. Grinning slyly, he looked at Diggs over his shoulder. "Just a quick stop here..." he said. "Can you come up too?" Stepping inside his house, Link began removing his tunic, out of sight from the other boy. OFF TOPIC: Diggs will be in for a surprise... Heheh.

Jose shook his head. "Nope..." he said with his usual smirk. "Haven't seen him all day." In the library, Guys was confused. "Hide a leaf in the forest..." Belbet said suddenly. "Hide a corpse in a cemetery..."

Glancing at the imitation Tails, Shadow blinked. "Hmmm?" he murmured. "What is it? You want me to follow you?"

Link clambered up, extending his hand down to Diggs. "Come here..." he said, smiling. "Let's go back to our village."

Link gently pet the horse's sides, chuckling as she gave a happy snort. "I know, I know..." he said assuringly. "I need to ask a favour of you. Diggs and I need to get back home. Do you think you could help us in our quest?"

Epona came racing into the village, two Bulblins falling off her back and exploding into smoke. The horse raced towards Link, the blond managing to dodge in time. The horse turned around, eyes wide with fear. She's panicking. I'd better calm her before she hurts herself. Link ran for the horse, jumping on her back. In panic, she reared and began racing all over. Thinking quickly, Link managed to wrangle her, and calm down the distressed creature. Breathing a sigh of relief, he smiled over at Diggs, his eyes gleaming This excitement. Just like I feel in the twilight. Diggs... just you wait until I get you back home. Your turn awaits...

Link kissed back, smiling slightly. It's going to be a long... Link pulled back quickly, hearing a noise. A galloping sound was approaching. Suddenly, he heard a familiar whinny. Epona!

Closing his eyes for a moment, the blond nodded, before opening them again. "Alright..." he said softly. "I'll go back... but... what about you? I don't want to do this alone... any of this... adventure."

Link shook his head, turning to face his soul mate. "I have heard..." he said softly. "But, I still must try."

Link stared off towards Death Mountain, before slowly making his way there. "I'll go..." he muttered. "I'll talk with them..."

"Yeah!" the smaller blond explained. "It was like a terrible dream and we couldn't wake up..." Link knelt downand rested a hand on the smaller boy's shoulder. "It was a nightmare for me too..." he said softly. "I'm just glad that you're all safe."

Shadow arrived only moments later, glancing around. "Sheko..." he said softly. "I'm back... at last."

Colin's smile faded, glancing down a bit. "Yeah, I..." he mumbled softly. "We don't remember much. All of a sudden everyone was captured, and then...until now...it's been like..."

With a smirk, another hyena glanced at the Chao it was holding. "This one will do..." he said. "We must find out the effects of different levels of Chaos Energy Exposure. Let's go, before we're discovered."

Link nodded, moving closer to Diggs. He was still a little uncomfortable meeting new people. "Nice to meet you..." he said softly. "You took care of the kids?" Colin looked up at Link, his eyes sparkling up at his idol. "The beasts took us and left us to die..." he said. "...but Mr. Renado found us."

Guys had finally awoken and headed to the library. Bumping into someone he apologised. The other boy looked strangely at him. "Guys..." he said softly. "It's you..." Guys stared at the boy, whose short blond hair made him look rather cute. His voice seemed familiar. "B-Belbet?" he asked. "Is that you?" It was indeed. Belbet moved closer. "Please..." he begged. "Go with me..."

Stepping through the portal, a group of hyenas looked around. "So..." one said. "The Chao Garden. We should find what we need here..."

With a slight smile, Len walked over back to his love. Leaning down, he pressed a kiss to the other boy's lips. "Wake up, Haru..." he pleaded. "We shouldn't sleep two days away."

Silver blushed before reaching a hand up and placing it on the other boy's. Staring into his eyes, he leaned down and kissed his beloved gently on the nose. "I promised I'd wait for you..." he said. "...and I will..."

Without responding, the boy stepped forward, before peering into the window. He saw a strange man walking forward, kneeling down. The man in my dream...

Blinking, the blond glanced over at Renado, before giving a nod. "Yeah..." he said softly. That's us."

Belbet retreated to his cell and laid down on his bed. He fell into a troubled sleep. Jake... It's my fault you're... By the next morning, Belbet was gone from his cell.
