Shadow Fire

Snappy looked up again. His eyes seemed to be moistening. "But, he's my friend! ...the only one I've known... can you honestly say you wouldn't do the same thing if Ethan were...--" The Feraligatr stopped, suddenly noticing that Ethan had done exactly as he'd asked. Though likely not understanding his words, it was still done. "Thank you..." Silver shivered again, still a little chilly, though he began to warm up.

A strange aura began to show around the eye, Link immediately knowing what to do. "Diggs!" he called out. "...get back!" With those words, he raced at the eye, before leaping in the air, positioning his sword so it was facing downwards. With a loud yell, he landed, the sword glowing slightly as it sapped all of the parasite's life energy.

The 'king' shook his head, nibbling on the chocolates. "No..." he said softly, paying a lot of attention to the wrappers. "Nothing befitting royal supervision was happening, so I spent the day in my chambers." Giving a sigh, the dirty male glanced down. "He looks just like him..." he mumbled. "I thought I was insane when I saw him, that it was a ghost, or that he'd faked his death... but it was... someone different."

Having a look around in the next room, Link found a way to break the web in the middle of the floor. Taking care of a massive Staltula, he jumped off the ledge, landing on the middle of the web. It sagged heavily, before giving way. "AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" SPLASH! Landing in the water down below, the blond sighed. Wet pyjamas...

Len nuzzled the other boy gently. "Haru..." he whispered. "This just means another thing to tell your mother, y'know?"

Snappy shot his glance over to Cynder. It hurt him to have to be so forceful when speaking, especially to the Typhlosion, but it was a race against time. "He needs body heat to survive! I saw it on a lifestyle show that was playing on his gear... Otherwise... he..." The massive Pokemon looked down, glancing at his master.

Aiming the Gale Boomerang at the Bombling, he then let it go, shooting the Bombling towards the renewed Babalant. The parasite shrieked, the main stalk crashing down, exposing a giant eye.

Taking a look at a Deku Stick, he held it up to the lit torch, gasping as the end became alit. Rushing over to the unlit torch, he held it up to it, watching as the torch lit. Another strange sound echoed throughout, before the bars shot up, allowing the door to open.

Belbet snatched up the chocolate, before giving a toothy grin to Evan. "Hmph..." he snorted, eyes full of amusement. "Is this how you talk to your king?" Making his way into Evan's cell, Belbet sat down on the man's bed. He held out a chocolate and offered it to him. "Evan..." he said softly. "Do you... want some of my chocolate?"

Silver warmed up a little, though his clothes were still soaked from the snow. Snappy released itself from its capsule, blinking down at his master. Seeing the wet clothes, his eyes narrowed. Reaching down, he used a claw to slash off the trainer's shirt and pants, leaving him clad in only boxers. "Your turn... Don't make me undress you myself."

Pulling away from the kiss, Len gave a warm smile. "Haru..." he said softly. "I think I know what this means..."

Link was about to make a move when suddenly, he heard a monkey call. Ook, the baboon appeared, holding a bombling, before giving a wide grin.

Brushing his long hair out of his eyes, the 'king' glanced out of his cell. "I wish..." he mumbled. "...that I could have more chocolate." Standing up, he came out of his cell, before peering into Evan's. "Evan..." he said softly. "I wonder... do you have any more of my country's chocolate?"

Closing his eyes quickly as their lips had touched, Len kept his arms around the other boy. I... broke my promise... Rin.

The red-haired boy had Snappy's Monster Ball clenched tightly in his hands, although once in the cave, his grip weakened and the capsule rolled out of his hand. "Nnnngh..." Silver groaned, eyes opening slightly. "E-Ethan...?" Even through his cloudy vision, he could make out the boy's telltale hair and cap, the Typhlosion nearby, and the voice of concern. Shivering violently, he began to fade again. "M...y... ...b...a...c...k...p...a...c...k..." he choked out, drowzily. "...s...l...e...e...p...i...n...g... ...b...a...g..." Closing his eyes again, Silver drifted back into unconsciousness.

Link adjusted his pyjamas for a moment, before jumping to the other side again, making it over just before the platforms lowered. Unfortunately, the iron bars were still locked over the door.

Looking up again, Len gave another smile. "Haru..." he said softly. "...I..." With a chuckle, he shook his head for a moment, before leaning up and capturing Haru's lips with his own.

Noticing that Snappy was doing a bit roughly, Silver recalled him, glancing at the Monster Ball. "Rest..." he said softly. "...my friend." Silver kept the capsule in his hand as he rushed further. Noticing a cave nearby, he made a dash towards it, but his strength gave out. Vision fading, he dropped to his knees, slumping to the ground. Ethan...

Nodding again, the boy rushed across, jumping from platform to platform, before landing in front of the treasure chest. Opening it up, he pulled out a small compass, which magically attached itself to the map. Um... whoa?

The smaller boy gave another smile, before rubbing his hands in circles over the older boy's back.

The weather began to get harsher still, Silver's PokeGear registering a blizzard heading for them. "Snappy!" the trainer yelled, his voice seeming a little faraway. "We'd better find shelter!" The water Pokemon gave an affirmative growl. Both of them began rushing through the blizzard, heading back towards Route 49.

Link gave a nod, before attacking. OFF TOPIC: Short post is short. =P

"You're welcome..." Len said softly. "Just... don't be sad..." Len tightened his embrace.

Back at Route 50, Silver and Snappy were training in the harsh, biting winds. Silver was pushing himself more than the water Pokemon, who was learning a few new moves. "Hey, Snappy?" the trainer mumbled. "Do you think he will be here soon?" The Feraligatr gave as best a chuckle he could. You're oblivious...

Len gave a soft sigh, before once again resting his head on the other boy's chest.
