Shadow Fire

Link gave a grin, and nodded in the direction of the Deku Tree. Several other Kokiri glanced over at the two friends, murmuring about Link's new companion.

Silver was still shaking. He wanted to destroy something, for he was feeling overwhelmed with rage. The Team Rocket Grunt gasped as he saw the disguise come off Ethan, regular clothes underneath. Taking a picture out of his pocket, he glanced at it, gasping again as he saw Ethan, complete with his usual clothing style. "What?" he choked out, rushing up to the raven-haired boy. "You're not a newcomer? Then, battle with m--ungh!" The Rocket Grunt went flying against the wall, his face now sporting a massive bruise from the fist that Silver slammed into it. The red-haired teen looked downright murderous. "I see..." he said to Ethan, his voice still laced with venom, though not looking at the other boy. "You were trying to be sneaky. A typical idea of the meek. No matter, I'll let you handle this bunch. I have some... therapy to undertake."

Link gave a smile, before dropping to the ground below. With a silent sigh, he walked over to his friend. The grass felt good under his bare feet.

Len nodded, taking some money and handing it to the pink-haired girl. "Please..." he pleaded. "Only this time... I don't want it for me... I want it..." The boy leaned closer to again whisper in her ear. Luka smiled, before nodding. "If that's what you wish..." she said softly, before turning to Haru. "Hey, 'ru! I hope you're okay with carrying another thing along with that."

Silver came barging over, gripping the Rocket Grunt's shirt tightly. "Hey!" he hissed, face contorted with rage and hatred. "Team Rocket! Stop going around in groups and troubling people. You cowards!" Pushing the grunt to the side, he began to walk towards the stairs, before suddenly stopping. Staring directly at Ethan, his eyes narrowed. "...Huh?" he said. "Are you... Ethan?! What are you doing here? No way... You think you're strong now that you look like them?! That's foolish! To think... I was starting to respect you... and then you go ahead and wear that hideous thing. I can never forgive you for that..." Silver was visibly shaking. He couldn't understand why he was so upset. What did it matter what Ethan did, anyway?

The boy nodded, before stepping off his bed. He began to walk outside, without changing. After all, if it was important, who had time to change?

"I heard my name!" the girl called out, coming back with 'the usual' in her arms. "I hope it was pleasant, whatever you were talking about." Still embarrassed slightly, Len poked his tongue out, stopping as Luka nudged him. Handing the supplies to Haru, she turned to Len once more. "I've still got it..." she said softly. "...that is, if you still want it."

Silver stopped in his tracks, confused. "Okay..." he muttered to himself. "This is weird. I seem to be able to hear him, but I can't see him at all. Gah! This is frustrating! I'll take out my anger on those Rocket fools." That said, he rushed towards the tower.

Link, coming out of his sleep, rubbed his eyes and sat on the end of his bed to glance up to the fairy. "..."

Len lowered his gaze to the ground, cheeks red. "Hngh..." he murmured. "She won't let me forget that..."

Silver suddenly froze, hearing Ethan's voice faintly. He must be down here too. Sounds like he's heading for the tower. I guess I should follow him. Looking up at Snappy, the trainer placed his finger over his lips, indicating for the Pokemon to be silent, before they began to head for the tower.

The girl smirked, before nodding. "Okay, hun..." she said softly. "Just you wait there. I'll be back with it in a moment." Turning to Len, her smirk widened. "Don't mess this place up..." she laughed. "I still remember the trouble you caused all those years ago."

Giving a sigh, Silver went over events in his mind. If I know Ethan well enough by now, he's going to want to get into the tower. I wonder... Casting a glance to his Feraligatr, who was now staring at him, seeming to ask 'shall we go see, then?'. the red-haired boy simply smiled and nodded. "Yeah," he agreed. "Let's go check things out."

Luka gave a wolf-like grin, causing Len to chuckle at Haru's reaction. "So, hun..." she asked. "What will it be today?"

OFF TOPIC: *groans* Another one. =P Well, the third time will be the charm, hopefully. Let's finish this one. =P A young boy, clad in his green nightwear, slept restlessly on his bed in his house. A nightmare seemed to be plaguing his sleep. A big building... could that be... a castle? That girl... who is she, and why is she looking at me like that? ...and that man... who... no, what is he... no... no... NOOOOOO! Tossing and turning, the boy shivered, clutching his blanket around him.

Silver entered the other entrance of the underground, before resting up against the wall, Snappy gave a yawn, settling down beside his master, eyes closing. ***** On the other side of the underground, a Team Rocket tailor beckoned Ethan over. "You..." he said. "You must be him. Well, no time to waste. Put on your uniform... and hurry back to the tower. Next time, avoid getting mud all over yourself."

The prince glanced over at Haru. Pain seemed to fill him at keeping such a dark secret. "Enough sadness..." he said softly. "We came here for supplies."

Smiling, Link nodded, taking the offered hand in his own. "Yeah..." he said softly. "Let's go." The blond began to enter the lair.

Some time later, having rescued more monkeys, and then using them as a giant trapeze to get to the central lair, Link glanced cautiously around. Bringing out the big key, he glanced up at the massive lock that covered the door, keeping the chains held up in place. "This is it..." he mumbled. "Inside this room... must be where the power lies..."

Using the power of the boomerang, Link did just as Diggs said, aiming for the fan. The wind made it spin greatly, causing the gates to rumble and rise up a bit more. Another throw of the boomerang allowed the gate to finally raise itself completely. "Well?" he said suddenly. "Shall we go?"

The first YouTube video for GCNOfficial has finally been uploaded. This video has an interesting take on the history of this community. Blush fading slightly, Link took the boomerang, which suddenly began to glow white. A strange voice seemed to come from it. "I am the Fairy of Winds who resides in this boomerang. I have been freed from evil, and I now have my true power back. Please... Take it with you, use it to aid your quest, and may both my power and my blessing go with you. If you focus power in your boomerang before releasing it, it will unleash the power of wind, aiding you in unforeseen ways." The blond blinked a few times. Okay... A boomerang is talking to me...
