Drawing his sword again, Link placed a hand on the older boy's shoulder. "With pleasure..." he muttered. "One dead giant... creature with eight legs... coming up." He quickly rushed into the room, shuddering in fear as the spider came down, attacking. Link smacked back with his sword, before stunning it. Quickly feeling its aura, he performed a Finish on the spider, destroying it. "Heh..." he chuckled darkly, still shuddering. "Therapy..."
-
Link raced up to Diggs and the monkey, giving a grin. "We're certainly the odd couple, huh?" he joked. "Between you talking to animals, and me hearing the voices of the gods... heheh." The blond chuckled, giving his beloved a kiss on the cheek before heading into the next room. Instantly, he froze. "Diggs..." he hissed. "Close your eyes... now." Hanging from the ceiling in the centre of the room, was a giant Staltula.
-
Link, on the other hand, was busy helping a monkey that the two boys hadn't noticed due to their battle against evil creatures. "Wow..." the blond muttered, giving a slight grin. "How'd I know that we'd see you again?" Smashing the cage open and letting the monkey out, Link watched as it scurried towards the door, stopping in front of it to jump up and down.
-
Link turned to Diggs, just in time to see his powerful kick to the Bokoblin's ribcage. As the creature died, exploding into a puff of smoke, the blond sweatdropped. "Wow..." he deadpanned. "I'll be sure to tell Ilia not to piss you off..."
-
Giving a nod, Link grinned. "Sure..." he said. "Sounds like a plan." With those words, he unsheathed his sword, before rushing at the Deku Babas.

A new skin, Viril, has been added to The GCN. This skin is rather unique in the way that it parses. It is another dark skin, like Brave, but with a different kind of design. However, just be cautious of something: [warning=Possible Issue]Jia checked the skin after it was installed, and was presented with a blank screen, with nothing but the paint-bucket image in the lower left corner. However, I'm using it at the moment. This can indicate browser issues.[/warning]If you change skin, and are unable to view the community, please send me an email at <img src="http://www.the-gcn.com/images/shadowfireemail.png" />.

Link froze. Spiders? Why spiders? The blond gave a soft sigh, accompanied by a whimper.

~Afterwards~ The broadcasting machine was shut down, the transmission ending. Lance went around to Ethan, congratulating him, before handing him HM05, citing that he didn't need it. With a smile, he bade the trainer farewell, before heading off.
-
Luka looked shocked, the shock replaced with sadness. "I'm sorry..." she said softly, watching as Len found solace by clinging to Haru. "She... wrote me a letter after you left, saying that she wanted to come back and see me again... to get some gossip from me. It's sad to hear that she's gone. My condolences to you."
-
Groaning, holding his head, Link slowly stood to his feet. "That..." he groaned. "...was weird..."
-
Ariana proved to be quite the capable trainer, but even she was no match for the likes of Ethan and Lance, the latter who could have taken both of them on his own. Once defeated, she conceded defeat, but warned the two trainers that the broadcast signal was only a test, and that they succeeded. Nothing that happened to this hideout mattered. After the hideout was cleared, Lance stared around. "Hmmm..." he murmured. "This machine seems to control the broadcast. In order to stop it, we need to make the Electrode faint. It's no fault of their own, so I kinda feel guilty, but it must be done. Ethan, you take the left. I'll take the right! If you don't want to make them faint, you can catch them. It would be the more humane thing to do."
-
"Hey, Haru-kun..." the pink-haired girl chuckled. "Hope you're staying out of trouble." A smile came over her face again. "So..." she began. "You took care of Len in his time of darkness? Thank you. Len is an old friend of mine, back when he used to live in Shian. He and his sister used to always be around. Oh, speaking of Rin... is she here? I'd like ever so much to see how she's grown." Len's eyes darkened, his gaze dropping. "You can't..." he mumbled softly. "She... Rin... gone..."

In the void, Link nodded, the Hero's Shade casting a bony grin. "Enemies that are filled with energy will quickly recover and attack again even when stunned by a powerful strike..." it said. "The ending blow is a secret technique you can use on stunned enemies to end their breath before they spring back into action. When an enemy lies collapsed on the ground, stunned, target them without delay and leap high into the air to deliver a final strike. When the opportunity to end their breath is before you, you will see the enemy's aura appear vividly before your eyes. Now, try it on me!" Link did as he was told, attacking the Hero's Shade, knocking it over. Noticing an aura coming from it, he leaped into the air and slammed his sword down over the skeleton's ribcage. Pulling the sword out, he jumped away, watching as the undead creature stood up and nodded at him. "Hmm..." the Hero's Shade said. "That was a pinpoint strike. Never overlook your opportunity to finish your prey! The first hidden skill, the ending blow, has been passed on!" Link tested the power of his leap, bringing the sword into the ground, acting as if an enemy was under his blade. Pulling the blade up, he swung the weapon around, sheathing it. The Hero's Shade glanced to the side. "There are still six hidden skills for you to learn..." it continued. "Those are only for one who carries the blood of the hero...the one whose spirit is that of the sublime beast. Grow powerful. Test your courage. And when you find that you need another skill to overcome the threats that face you... Search for the statues that howl with the sound of the wind. Seek the sound that calls to the spirit of the beast to awaken me again. A sword wields no strength unless the hand that holds it has courage. Remember those words... Farewell!" A white light shrouded Link, and the next moment, he was awakening near the temple entrance, in Diggs' arms.
-
Len happened to notice Haru watching him, turning to face him with a smile. "I'm..." he continued, speaking to Luka. "...staying with Haru and his mother... they saved me..."
-
As Ethan was heading into the room, a voice called out. It was a female executive, who introduced herself as Ariana. She was accompanied by a Grunt, both of them prepared to ambush him, when suddenly... "Hold it!" Lance's voice called out, the dragon trainer rushing over with a smirk. "Starting the fun without me? That's not very fair of you. Come, Ethan... let's teach them a lesson."
-
Arriving at the store, Len went inside, walking around carefully. A young, pink-haired woman stared at him from behind the counter. "No..." she murmured. "It can't be..." Len stared at her upon hearing the voice. His blank, innocent expression immediately made her grin. "I don't believe it!" she exclaimed. "You... Len, right?" The blond instantly grinned. "Yeah..." he said softly. "It's good to see you again... Luka. It's been so long."

Link awoke in a strange void. A castle seemed to be in the background, though it was very misty. From behind him, he could hear the wolf breathing. Turning around, he gasped as the wolf had already transformed into a giant skeletal soldier holding a massive sword. Drawing the sword he had sheathed on his back, Link swung it at the skeleton, gasping as his attack was parried, closing his eyes as the massive sword came towards him. He felt himself being knocked over, but no damage dealt. Opening his eyes, he stood back up in awe, the skeleton speaking in a deep voice. "A sword wields no strength unless the hand that holds it has courage..." it said. "You may be destined to become the hero of legend...but your current power would disgrace the proud green of the hero's tunic you wear. You must use your courage to seek power...and find it you must. Only then will you become the hero for whom this world despairs. If you do find true courage, and you wish to save Hyrule from the horrors it now faces... Then you will be worthy to receive the secrets I hold!"
-
Finally, the Murkrow was right next to the locking mechanism of the locked room. "The password..." it said, still in Petrel's voice. "...is HAIL GIOVANNI." The lock deactivated, opening the doors.
-
The prince grinned back over at Haru, giving a nod. "Sure..." he said. "I don't think she'll remember me though..." Giving a shrug, Len began sprinting towards the store.
-
Link rolled his eyes, imitating Midna's own style of eye-rolling. With a big smile as he was led along by Diggs, the blond breathed a sigh of relief as he saw the temple entrance. However, in their path... "Diggs..." he mumbled. "Can you see that...? The strange golden-white wolf?"
-
Len glanced around some more, the smile still on his face. "Gosh..." he said in awe. "I haven't seen her for years. She must be... oh, man... she's 20 now!"
-
The bird Pokemon was using Petrel's voice, an advantage since the lock would only respond to the executive's voice. Suddenly, it flew out past Ethan, stopping to land on the ground, repeating the password message in Petrel's voice. Quickly, it flew into the air, waiting for Ethan to follow. ***** By this time, Silver had made it to the surface, his eyes narrowed darkly. Glaring around, he summoned Snappy, ordering the water Pokemon to use its Water Gun attack to destroy the locking mechanism, stopping the hidden panel from being replaced. "Fools..." he snickered, recalling his Pokemon. "You'll all fail anyway. What's the point of having a hideout that you can't hide?" The teen rushed out, heading back to Goldenrod City.

The second kiss came sweeter than the first, Link breathing a little heavily. Moisture ran down his cheeks once again. "I won't let anything happen to you. This world isn't worth living in without you in it." Letting his eyes lock onto Diggs' again, he was about to give the older boy another kiss, when he heard Midna clear her throat. LanguageLink is speaking an ancient dialect, although it isn't yet known why. Not very many people know this lost language. This will be characterised by light purple font.
