  1. Link had gone into Jaggle's house, managing to find the shield that Bo and Jaggle had been talking about. He fought back a wolfy snicker when hearing Midna commenting on how cheap it looked. Oh, yes... because we really have a lot of material to make metallic shields... Shaking his head for a moment, the wolf snuck back out of the house, landing in the water outside. "Why am I always getting wet?"
  2. Yup, I've added a new staff member, someone who I've known for quite some time. Jia Long, whom I've known as many other aliases, is now the newest addition to the group. I've known Jia since my visits to the now defunct Spiritual Bonds community, which was a Sonic-based yaoi community. She and I have roleplayed several times before, and each roleplay has been spectacular. She joined RP Mania while it existed, and served as one of my staff members there, until its closure. Now that she's at The GCN, I've extended her the position, one I know she will do well in. Treat her right, and with the proper respect.
  3. As he was helped up to the platform, Link would have smirked widely if possible. Creeping up behind Hanch, he suddenly gave a low growl. "You're lucky I don't attack you for that..." Of course, Hanch couldn't understand anything other than "growl, growl, snarl". It was enough to scare him away, the hawk flying away. As he watched with pride as Hanch fled, his eyes rested on the grass that grew right next to where he was standing. An idea coming into his mind, the wolf sat, beginning to howl in the tune that the hawk knew, beckoning it down. The hawk stared intently at Link. "So...you're Link...right? Sorry about giving you so much trouble before. I'm not proud of it, but it's in my genes to obey anyone who blows a reed. How sad... Let me make up for that mess earlier by pointing out any wonderful items around here!" Watching as the hawk flew away, the wolf's attention turned to the open window of Jaggle's house.
  4. Link gave a slight sneeze, grumbling at Hanch for having sent his hawk after him. Upon noticing a nearby rock which he could most likely get assistance from Midna's jump link with, the wolf sat patiently.
  5. If wolves could blush, Link was sure his face would be tomato red by now. ...but why? Why does this cub incite such feeling? Glancing at the other, Link gave the best smile he could give in his current form, before looking for a way to get into Jaggle's house. Unfortunately, he just happened to walk in full view of Hanch.
  6. As Link listened to the unfolding conversation, he could feel the heat from the pup against him, and the brush of fur against fur. ...what's with this feeling? The wolf was brought out of his thoughts as the conversation he was eavesdropping on continued. "...So..." the mayor said softly. "That shield is still in your house, right?" Jaggle nodded, scratching the back of his head. "Uh, yeah..." he mumbled. "It should be in our storage loft." The mayor gave a slight sigh. "Good!" he breathed. "Go grab it, quick as you can! Rusl got wounded pretty bad, so he can't go search for the kids. I'll take over for him." "But Rusl had a sword, Mayor!" Jaggle objected. "And he STILL got hurt! If you're unarmed, you're done for!" Giving an uneasy grin, Bo shook his head slightly. "I'll be fine..." he assured. "The sword we were goin' to present to the royal family should still be at Rusl's house." Eyes blinking, Jaggle stared over at Rusl's house. "Oh yeah?" he asked. "All right, I understand, Mayor. I'll hurry up and get that shield. You just wait here..." Just at that moment, a slight gust of wind happened to blow the grass down a little, causing Link to react by arching up. The two men stared at him wide-eyed. "No good!" yelped Bo. "Run!" The two men ran off, leaving Link feeling slightly upset. They were his friends and he couldn't even let them see him.
  7. Link nodded, thanking the squirrel. Heading on into the village, he glanced around. He was sure it wouldn't be a good idea for anyone to see him and the smaller pup. Noticing Hanch standing on an elevated piece of land which was jutting out of the lagoon, he snuck past, before hearing voices. "Oh, about the shield..." "Shh! Not so loud..." It was Mayor Bo and Jaggle, who were standing near the latter's house. Deciding it was in his best interests to eavesdrop, the wolf began to creep closer, keeping hidden in the grass.
  8. Link fought the urge to growl at Midna. He knew somehow that she was on his side, but man, she was pushy. Kinda like another girl I know... Turning to the cub, the bigger wolf gave a nod. "We'd better do as Midna asks and get her a sword and shield. I know where we can get them. Follow me." The wolf scampered towards Ordon Village, slowing down a bit as he got closer. "You... like myself, were obviously attacked by creatures of this twilight. You don't seem like a normal wolf, which means you must have been changed into one... like me."
  9. Glancing to the side, the bigger wolf sighed. "C'mon... I can tell you more on the way..." Link turned around and began to head towards Ordon Village.
  10. The cub was awake, the bigger wolf staring down at him. Realising that he could probably talk back to the other wolf, Link gave it a try. "Welcome to the land of the living. We're at Ordona Spring, far from Hyrule Town. As for what happened... well, let's just say that the world just became an even more messed up place..." Something seemed familiar about the wolf cub's voice, but Link shook it off.
  11. The wolf rematerialised in the Ordona Spring, glancing at the cub in front of him. It took him only a moment to realise he wasn't in the twilight anymore, but was still a wolf. With a blink, he glanced around, wondering where Midna disappeared to.
  12. Oh, Mal... you plank. =P Yeah, what he said. Heheh. Also, something Mal left out, if you ever have any errors when trying to browse the community, please use the Tracker system. You can also change skins by using the dropdown menu at the bottom left of the forums.
  13. Giving a wolf-like gasp, or as best he could with the scruff of the pup's neck within his jaws, Link's ears drooped. He hadn't forgotten about his friends in trouble, but his own dilemma sidetracked him for a while. Ears perking up again, he gave a determined look. I'll get them back... all of them. Ilia... Colin... Diggs...
  14. Link glanced at the floor momentarily, before giving a nod, and turning around. Quickly, but cautiously, he scurried downstairs.
  15. The wolf listened intently, but found himself distracted by the bundle in the hooded girl's arms. A wolf cub. Was it someone like him?
  16. Link stopped growling at once, glancing over at the hooded female. She seemed to know the imp... Midna... rather well. Deciding to be a good boy, the wolf stayed put.
  17. As he made his way over the rooftops, the wolf honed his senses, noticing more soldiers. The first one he noticed whimpered about their poor Hyrule Castle. I made it to Hyrule... though not via conventional means. Defeating enemies and making his way across, he found himself at the window of a tower. Clambering through, he dropped inside, landing on some steps. Ears twitching, he ran upstairs and through a door. Glancing around, he suddenly began to growl. Someone was there...
  18. PARA: We are the Brothers Paradox! DOX: And we love wearing women's frocks! PARA: As villains go, we're kinda lame! DOX: But never mind that, let's play a card game! YAMI: We have to duel these guys as a team, Joey. That means you do everything I say, you got that? JOEY: Duh, okay. PARA: We are villains who like to rhyme! DOX: In fact, we do it all the time! PARA: You may think it's rather crass! DOX: But you can stick your cards right up your nose. PARA: You were supposed to say "ass", brother, I thought we rehearsed this! *later* PARA: Against our Gate Guardian, you stand no chance! DOX: I'm not wearing any underpants. PARA: Is that true brother, or are you just rhyming? DOX: I didn't want to throw off our timing. But it is true. YAMI: Joey, it's time for a surprise attack! JOEY: No worries, Yug, I got ya back! YAMI: Hang on a second, are we rhyming too? JOEY: Don't ask me, I ain't got a clue. YAMI: This is like something out of Dr. Seuss! TÉA: I can't stop staring at Yugi's caboose! BAKURA: Everyone seems to have gone all rhymey! TRISTAN: Shut the hell up, you stupid limey!
  19. Entering the next section, Link noticed a spiralling staircase, which seemed to go for ages. Parts of it had decayed, but he was confident he could jump it. That was, until he jumped the first gap, landing on a decaying step, which crumbled away, sending him plummeting a few metres to the water below. Getting out of the water quickly, the wolf shook the water from his body and whimpered.
  20. While Ethan was at the Lake of Rage, Silver's Pidgeot was coming in for landing at Mahogany Town. Recalling the Pokemon, he glanced around town, before making a beeline towards a small store. I've found their entrance... Entering the store, he was approached by two men, who asked in a very suspicious manner if he intended to buy anything. A smirk came to his lips. "Sure..." he murmured. "Although if my father finds out that you fools are trying to sell me something..." The men both gasped, before taking steps away. "W-what do you want?" the taller one asked. "...did you come to inspect?" Along came another smirk. "Yeah..." he muttered. "You could say that. Now let me inside." The two immediately did as they were ordered, allowing Silver into the secret base. They made such a fuss about getting the entrance sealed again that they didn't notice the red-haired teen touch a small sticker to the wall beside the entrance. As the door closed behind him, his smirk faded, quickly replaced with a scowl. Now to see what they're up to...
  21. Len remained silent while he ate, although he could feel Haru's concerned gaze upon him. How can these people be so kind... to one so cruel?
  22. The wolf would have grumbled if he were able to. Quickly, he began looking for a way to the other side of the bars. The smell of decay here... it's overpowering. It didn't take long for Link to find the way around. As he finally made it, he began panting. He'd had to fight through more of the small creatures. Suddenly, he let out a soft bark, then a whimper, as he felt the imp return to his back. A little rest would have been nice...
  23. Heeding the imp's words, the wolf kept his senses honed as he scampered around the sewers. Suddenly, he came across strange creatures. He didn't know what they were, but something told him they were bad. Growling, he lunged at them, biting with ferocious jaws.
  24. Link looked confused, about as confused as a wolf could look anyway. Focusing his sight, he gave a gasp as his visual perception changed. The ball of green floating fire changed to a person, clad in armour. A soldier?
  25. Let me be the first to extend a welcome. Hope you enjoy it here.
