Shadow Fire

Giving a shrug, the golden-eyed male grinned. "I've got plenty of games, a whole lot of movies, whatever, really. Or, if you're hungry, we can totally mess up the kitchen."

Two pairs of eyes widened as Shadow explained what Light had actually meant. Glancing back at one another, then back at their respective partners, then at each other's partner, they both blinked. Sonic was the first to offer a shy smile, and he shuffled over to Light, draping his arms around him. "Does this have anything to do with... my past feelings for Shadow?" Stopping, he suddenly blushed, a thought coming to mind. "Actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure bro was checking you out." A guilty chuckle was given from Manic, and he nodded. "Yeah, hope you don't mind. So... you're asking if we would embrace the idea of a... four-way?" Casting a glance at his blue-quilled brother, he gave a small grin. "If everyone else is okay with it, why the hell not? Count me in." Glancing at his beloved, he raised a hand to gently cup his cheek. "I'll only approve if you and Shadow are okay with it... I don't want to complicate things."

Looking ever so like the kid who got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, Modern chanced a glance at his best friend, only to raise an eyebrow. "Okay, see... that whole stern thing doesn't work when you're trying so hard not to giggle, or squee. With you, it's gotta be one or the other... or both. Needless to say, I love him... uh... myself... um... I suppose it seems a little bit funny to think, when I put it like that."

Manic stared at Sonic, before turning back to Light. "Uh, neither of us actually could make out what you were saying. Someone's stomach wouldn't shut up..." Smirking over at his brother, he let out a sudden yelp as a cushion smacked into his face, courtesy of a certain blue hedgehog. Clearing his throat, Sonic took over for Manic. "What my dear little bro means is, we couldn't hear you. While curious, we didn't wanna eavesdrop. We thought it may have just been, y'know... the two of you catching up."

Silver hugged back, still giving his smile. "We'll be at my place in a few... what do you wanna do when we get back?"

Sonic was enjoying himself, until the sound of someone clearing their throat could be heard. There was no mistaking the source. Breaking the kiss, the green-eyed male turned to face his best friend, giving a sheepish smile. "I, uh... don't suppose you'll believe me if I were to tell you that you were imagining things?" Sonic chuckled softly.

Shyly, Silver averted his gaze. "Me neither."

Smiling, the taller hedgehog returned his lips to the smaller's, shivering with delight at the tingly feeling he was getting.

Blinking, Sonic watched as Shade sauntered off, most likely planning to pilfer through the stuff in Sonia's old room. There were quite a few of her old toys anyway, so the six year old would be very entertained. Once the girl was gone, he turned back to face the others and tilted his head to the side. "Okay, what's up?" Manic looked equally as confused.

The game was on, and sure enough, Sonic lost. However, he was gracious in defeat, if you can call tickling the victor gracious. Noticing that Light and Shadow were both returning, Sonic placed his controller down and stood up. "Everything okay?"

Pulling away a few moments later, but keeping their lips close together, the green-eyed male smiled. "It's strange... I never thought I'd feel so strongly... about myself... but, it feels right..."

Eyes locking onto Light's, the golden-eyed hedgehog smiled. "Yeah... we have three weeks together... I plan to let them be unforgettably fun."

That was all the encouragement the older hedgehog needed, gently placing his arms around his smaller self, slowly moving his lips over the other's in an innocent kiss.

Two pairs of eyes lit up. In perhaps the fastest Manic had moved, he raced to the sofa, jumped on it, and picked up a controller, grinning to the side, noticing his older brother had picked one up as well. "Wonderful choice." "Hey, princess... let's team up against big bro, eh? He won't stand a chance."

Grin widening, Silver held him closer. "Good. This is just the beginning."

His heart thumping at the sight of his younger self blushing, he realised that he'd done the same thing. Blushing, he stared away, glancing down at the ground. After a few moments of silence, he gave a small smile. "Ironically, it's possible now... and y'know something? It doesn't change my stance. I would date me... if I would still have the same thoughts of dating myself... weird as it may seem."

Giving up, Sonic trudged himself over to the sofa and sat next to Shade. "So, little one... picked out a game yet?"

With a chuckle, the green-eyed male scratched his head. "I guess I am a bit narcissistic. I mean, I remember standing in front of the mirror one morning thinking 'Would you date me? I'd date me...'" His cheeks flushed a little more.

Grinning widely, Silver gently tightened his grip around Light's hand. "Having fun so far?"

Sonic finished his meal quickly, Manic finishing shortly afterwards. The two of them stared at one another, trying to listen for what Light and Shadow were discussing. "I wonder what they're talking about..." "Heh... your guess is as good as mine..."

Giving his own smile, Silver increased the speed on his EX-Gear, enjoying the feeling of the wind whipping through his quills, but even more enjoying that Light was there with him.

Modern nodded in response, smile widening a little more. "Oh, of course. Call me narcissistic, but I think it's true."

Sonic and Manic continued to blink, before the green hedgehog returned to his breakfast, his blue brother doing the same once he'd finished preparing it. "..."

Smile widening, Sonic nodded. "I felt the same way, at first... but I got used to it. So will you. Besides..." A slight tint of pink appeared on his cheeks. "I think it's cute."

Shyly, Silver moved a hand down, gently taking a hold of Light's.
