Easy for you to say. This body isn't exactly easy to adjust to- oh, what's that smell? What's that sound? I wonder if I can catch my tail... Shaking his head, the boy-turned-wolf began circling around the hanging chain as if it were his prey. A moment later, he lunged, grabbing it between his teeth, using his paws to balance himself, lest his teeth be ripped out. The chain pulled down slightly, a click sounding. Dropping back to the floor, he saw a doorway open up beside him. Cautiously, he went through.
-
Realising his only hope was to listen to this imp, Link began to scamper around the prison cells, looking for something suspicious. Inside one of the cells, a chain hung from the ceiling. The wolf stared at it for a moment.
-
Now that he was free, the wolf began glancing around for any weak structural points in the cell. Noticing a few wooden crates nearby, he growled, before lunging at them. The boxes shattered, splinters flying around. Sure enough, underneath was a soft patch of dirt, uncovered by stone flooring. Sniffing the air for a moment, he suddenly began digging ferociously, before creating a tunnel underneath the bars. Slipping under, he emerged on the other side, quite proud of himself.
-
Link was quickly irritated at the imp's actions, and lunged at her. RAWRF! He missed, intentionally, but there was a part of him that really wanted to bite her.
-
The wolf quickly stopped growling at the imp's words, taking a step back and glancing down at the dirty floor of his cell.
-
Instantly defensive, Link quickly growled, baring his fangs menacingly at the strange creature. On the inside, he was terrified, having no idea of what was happening.
-
Link awoke some time later, finding himself chained. Glancing himself over, he quickly realised he was still a wolf, and gave what could easily be called a sigh. Struggling as best he could, he couldn't seem to break the chain that was cuffed around his leg. Panting heavily, he gave up, exhausted.
-
In the meantime, Link was still around Faron Woods, only it wasn't like Faron Woods he was used to. Strange creatures were staring at him, an unsettling sound emanating from them. A great pain began to shoot through his arm, before the symbol on the back of his hand began to glow. The creature shrieked and threw him down to the ground. Ungh... what's... happening... to me? Struggling to stand, the blond felt great pain throughout his body, his vision blurring. The pain intensifying, he let out a loud scream as he felt his body reshape itself. The scream quickly turned into a howl, that of a wolf. Having transformed into such a beast, his senses overloaded, and he fell into unconsciousness. The symbol on his... paw... stopped glowing, fading back to its dull colouration. The strange creature that had pulled him into this strange alternate world grabbed him by his hind legs and dragged him away.
-
Link was unconscious for several minutes, before finally awakening. Rubbing his head, he glanced around, trying to get his bearings. "Ungh..." he groaned. "Did I fall out of my bed again?" Suddenly, he realised he was at the Spring of Ordona, and instantly remembered what had happened several minutes beforehand. "No..." he choked out. "They've got Ilia and Colin!" Quickly, he rushed to his feet and sprinted towards Faron Woods, but as he crossed the bridge, he stopped, gasping at the strange black wall blocking his path. It seemed to glow with a mystical power. Taking a few steps forward, he stared intently at the strange wall. Suddenly, he let out a choked cry as a hand shot out and grabbed hold of him. A loud scream echoed throughout the area as he was pulled inside.
-
One creature was unaccounted for. The massive creature from before was suddenly behind Diggs, a cruel smirk on his face. Holding a massive shield, he swung it at the boy with great power and speed. "Wrrrrrroaaaaaaaah!"
-
Ilia had just returned Epona to Link, asking that he take special care on his journey, when suddenly, the ground began to rumble. Seconds later, several Bullbos came rushing into the spring, Bulblins riding on their backs. As Ilia helped Colin escape, a Bulblin Archer fired an arrow at her, the arrow hitting her leg, knocking her down, causing her head to hit the ground roughly. She was knocked out instantly. In horror, Link attempted to assist, only to feel a heavy blow to the back of his head as a Bulblin slammed him with its club. "Unh..." he grunted as he fell to the ground, vision clouding. "No..." As his consciousness faded, a hideous creature rode into the spring on an even bigger Bullbos. Blowing a strange horn, he gave a smirk of triumph as the sky seemed to change colour. Quickly, he rode away, the Bulblins riding after him, taking Ilia and Colin with them. Link was left unconscious in the spring.
-
Ilia had taken Epona from Link due to an injury the horse had suffered. Epona didn't seem to mind, but try telling that to the stubborn 16-year old. Even further headache was endured when Link had to give the spoiled children of Ordon his sword in order to get to the spring where he knew Ilia had taken Epona. There goes my defence. At least Colin understood Link's plight. The teen gave a smile. Colin idolised him, and did whatever he could to emulate him, anything he could to help. He had shown Link a hidden way into the spring, while trying to explain the situation to Ilia. "...and that's why..." the young boy said, glancing at the ground in front of him. "Link saved us all."
-
Silver glanced down at Snappy, teeth clenched fiercely. "It's decided..." he hissed. "We're going to Mahogany Town. I'm going to find out what the hell they're up to... and put a spanner in the works. Snappy, return." Holding the Feraligatr's Monster Ball up, the teen watched as his Pokemon nodded, before reverting to energy and returning to his capsule. I will make them suffer... if it's the last thing I do. Sending out a Pidgeot, the red-haired boy took hold of the bird Pokemon, his eyes still narrowed as the bird flapped its wings and flew into the sky, carefully so as not to let his master slip. If I see you again... father...

Cutting a piece of one of his pancakes with his fork, the blond lifted it to his mouth, and ate. His chewing slowed for a moment, his eyes seeming to fill with sadness, before they were replaced with a fond, nostalgic shine. "Haru tells the truth..." he agreed after swallowing. "These are most exquisite."
-
Cheeks going a bit red, the blond gave another smile, before turning around and walking to the door. As he opened it, he glanced back over his shoulder. "We will see each other again..." he promised. "I promise to do what I can to make it back to see you again." Walking outside, Link dropped down to the ground below, before casting a glance up at his house. Don't let anyone push you around while I'm gone...
-
Fully clothed, the blond walked over to his friend, smiling before bringing the older boy into an embrace. "I will..." he promised. "Take care of yourself too. I'll be heading into the village to talk to Bo, and collect the package I'll be delivering... then I will be going." Releasing Diggs from his hug, Link gave another smile. "I'll see you..." he whispered. "...in a few days..."
-
A strange feeling made itself known to Link as he and Diggs parted. For some reason, he felt insecure. Unsafe, even. With a sleepy yawn, he pushed his thoughts away as he undressed. Changing into his day clothes, he cast a glance back over to his friend, catching him looking at him. "I wish you could come too," he said suddenly. "But someone needs to protect the village."

DANCE CENTRAL!!1! ...I'm serious.
-
Link quickly reached a hand up to his head, placing it on the hand that Diggs had gently placed there. "It's not your fault..." the younger male assured his friend. "At least... it wasn't so much a nightmare this time... It was just an unsettling dream." Finding himself staring right at Diggs' eyes, Link found it hard to force his gaze away, but he did, cheeks reddening again. "I better get ready..." he whispered. "I've got a long journey."
-
Link's eyes shot open. Glancing around, he noticed the sun was close to rising. Giving a sigh, he glanced at the source of the voice that awoke him. "Diggs..." he breathed. "...another nightmare... the same as always." Forcing a smile to his face, he shook his head. "At least..." he mumbled. "...I know you didn't have any nightmares." While Link said this, his arms were still around his best friend.
-
Link remained awake for some time after Diggs fell asleep. His stomach seemed to be doing tumbles as he watched his friend slumber. His cheeks felt warm and his chest seemed to ache, but he didn't know why. After all, it's not like he hadn't been this close to Diggs before. The older boy delighted in glomping the blond, wrestle around with him, and it never seemed to bother him. So, why now? Giving a silent sigh, Link carefully placed his other arm around the dark-haired boy's frame, closing his eyes as he fell asleep. ***** Those eyes... those menacing eyes. They seemed to be burning deep into his very soul. The helmet of strong metal seemed to emanate a dark chill from it. Grimacing in pain, the blond watched as the sky seemed to darken, before glowing with a strange yellowish fire. Blackish squares seemed to swish up through the air. A sinister laugh was the last thing he heard before everything went dark.
-
His smile widened slightly, the blond releasing the blanket. "Sure..." he said softly. "No problem... Diggs." Absently, he curled an arm around Diggs and brought him closer. I feel the strangest need to protect him... even though he's far stronger than I am...
-
Link's cheeks flared up. Even with his best friend's mix of words, he was able to comprehend the sentence after a few moments. "Share a bed..." he mumbled out. "...with me?" Giving a breath, he exhaled deeply, before smiling and nodding. "Sure..." he said softly. "I'll keep you safe..." His nightmares must be harrowing. I never thought he'd... huh... Having already situated himself under his covers, the blond held one side up, a gesture to indicate his best friend to join him.
-
"Mmh?" Link murmured. "What is it?" The Ordonian quickly turned his gaze back to his best friend.
