The red-haired trainer finally saw Ecruteak City, which was about a mile away. At least he wasn't forced to go uphill anymore. "It's late..." he mumbled. "An hour to go... arriving at about 10pm."
-
Some time later... "Damn it..." Silver hissed. "I knew it was uphill, but..." He'd made it half-way uphill and it was already starting to become late afternoon. I'm guessing... late night by the time I arrive...

OFF TOPIC: Since time has passed a bit, I'm skipping the battles in the park. =P It was already late when Silver defeated the final trainer in National Park. His Pokemon, while relatively unscathed from battle, were getting a little fatigued. The red-haired teen gave a slight yawn of his own. I guess I'd better get some rest. Ecruteak City seems to be a bit of a distance away... and uphill at that. Walking towards a secluded area at the rear of the park, Silver began setting up his sleeping bag.

Wolf RPers, eh? You may not know this, but I have a wolf character, although I don't sit there and go "I'M A WULF LOL!" in real life. In reality, I more associate with the panda. =P Anyway, my point is, you've instantly labeled everyone who has a wolf character as retarded and such. I've known a few good ones... then there's myself. My wolf character may be anthropomorphic, but yeah. =P Anyway, that aside, I've got nothing to rant about yet. I'm still half-asleep. I'll be back later.

Nothing. The rule is "The human whose name is written in this note shall die." It only works against humans. There's a shit ton of rules as well. =P Anyway...since I had to explain all that, I steal back the notebook in the chaos, and write the names of random criminals on it. I am Kira. Kira's hill.

Heading towards the National Park, Silver learned that there was a contest held on certain days, dedicated to catching various bug-type Pokemon in an attempt to get the best catch. However, since it wasn't one of the days the contest fell on, it was simply a relaxation visit. "Fine with me..." Silver mumbled to himself as he walked into the park. "I could do with a bit of relaxation. Maybe even some training to help calm my nerves."
-
Yeah, but... I have this: I won't hesitate to write certain characters' names in it. Since you're under duress... I decide to share the hill with you. My Death Note. Our hill.

Silver had finished shopping, shifting his bag on his shoulder. I've got a lot of Monster Balls now... More Pokemon for me to catch. I'm surprised at all the extra items on offer in Johto. I've not heard of many of these. Oh well, it's getting late. Better head off. Making his way to the exit of Goldenrod City, he headed towards Ecruteak City. Had he delayed any longer, he'd have been seen by his just arriving rival.
-
You and your aliens stand no chance... I'm still not wearing any underpants... So, you should try not to make a fuss... All your hill are belong to us. Our hill.

As he walked around town, Silver noticed the radio tower, and made plans to go inside to check things out. However, he stopped when he saw a Team Rocket Grunt standing out front, plotting something. What the hell are they up to? Well, I'd rather not find out yet. I don't want them to know I'm here... not yet anyway. I'll buy what I need and get to the next town quickly. Clutching his bag over his shoulder, the boy ran towards the department store.
-
To not know who LittleKuriboh is... that is the most unforgivable crime ever. Attention duelists: My hair is arresting you! My hair's hill.
-
Pokemon all healed, Silver had finally reached the other side of the forest. Walking towards Goldenrod City, the boy gave a sigh of relief as he took his first steps into the city. Glancing around, he took note of key locations. Department Store... Flower Shop... Contest Hall... Global Trade Station... this place puts Celadon City to shame...
-
Safely in the Ilex Forest, Silver let out all of his Pokemon, before beginning the task of healing them all. His mind wandered back to the climactic finale of the battle, and he gave another slight smile. "Snappy..." he muttered. "You took a big risk, but I'm proud to call you mine. You used intuitive thinking. When you recover, we'll train some more, and then we'll crush our opponents... all of them."
-
The small smile remained on Silver's face until he looked up and realised that Ethan was staring at him. Smile fading, replaced with a frown, the red-haired teen locked his eyes with the raven-haired boy's. "You beat me again..." he said. "But I'll continue onwards and get stronger. Mark my words, I will crush you!" Rushing forwards, he gave Ethan a slight shove to get past, and disappeared into Ilex Forest.
-
Granted, you get a piranha. I wish for money.

OFF TOPIC: Now, for other people reading this, the last couple posts, and this one as well contain what we call god-modding. However, since Crimson and I have roleplayed together for years now, we know how the other thinks. Another look of worry shot onto Silver's face as he watched Snappy go flying backwards, landing on the ground with a thud which sent dust flying. Watching as both Pokemon got to their feet, he raised a hand to his mouth, beginning to chew on his thumbnail. Snappy... Snappy glanced over to his trainer, before giving a weak smile and slumping back to the ground, out cold. Silver let out a wounded sigh. He'd lost again. Holding out his Monster Ball, he recalled the crocodile. Glancing at the capsule, a small smile broke out on his face. It was a close one, so I'll forgive you for losing... Snappy.
-
Silver glanced at his Pokemon for a moment, a look of worry flashing onto his face, but as quick as it came, it was gone just as so. "Snappy!" he yelled out. "Water Pulse!" One last desperate course of action. Having understood that his Pokemon held the Torrent attribute, he knew that while this physically weakened, water attacks would be stronger in power, resisting the effects of Sunny Day. As the Quilava got closer and closer, Snappy bode his time, before unleashing the Water Pulse.
-
Snappy was unprepared for the attack, the Quilava opponent slamming into his chest, taking him back a few meters. Snappy, if things are grim, use whatever you can to your advantage. You are my Pokemon, so I know you'll think of something. Having remembered what Silver had told him, the Croconaw gave a groan as he was still being pushed back, and suddenly lifted his arms, before allowing himself to fall backwards. As he went towards the ground, he used his paws to support him, before lifting his feet and slamming them into his opponent's stomach. As his foe shot away from him, he utilised acrobatic talent, bringing himself to his feet again. Clutching the side of his chest, the crocodile Pokemon hissed in pain.
-
Snappy gave a cry of surprise as the level of water he was riding began to recede. By the time he'd closed in on Cynder, it was only half the size. Hitting Cynder at a slower speed, the Croconaw jumped back, and glanced back at Silver in confusion. "Croco?" he asked. "Naw naw croco naw?" Of course, even though nobody truly understood Pokemon, Silver seemed to know what his Pokemon was asking. "How the hell should I know?" he hissed. "That was unexpected. I've never seen such a move be used like that! Well, since water type moves are weakened for a while, we'll just have to rely on your brute strength. Bite, now!" The Croconaw shot in close, chomping its fangs menacingly.
-
Snappy dodged just as quickly, casting a quick glance back at his trainer. The red-haired teen seemed rather irate. "Snappy, it's time!" he called out. "Surf!" The Croconaw gave a snap of his jaws, before using the attack. A huge wall of water surged upwards, Snappy taking control of it and surfing at full speed towards the fire Pokemon.
-
Silver's smirk was quickly wiped from his face as Zubat was hit by the powerful Flame Wheel attack at point blank range. Quickly overwhelmed, the bat Pokemon fell to the ground. Snarling in rage, Silver recalled his Pokemon. "Damn..." he hissed. "You lost... it looks like I need to train you some more. You're still a bit on the weak side." Clipping the capsule to his belt, Silver unleashed Snappy, who quickly snapped his jaws as if to say to his Quilava opponent 'Hey, we got big!'. "Snappy!" the trainer growled. "Water Pulse." At once, the Croconaw unleashed its attack.
-
Zubat flew to the side, managing to dodge the Pokemon's attack. Silver scowled. "Zubat!" he yelled. "Get that fiery rodent! Steel Wing!" Silver's smirk returned as the Zubat's wings began to glow a silvery colour.
-
Silver's smirk widened as he saw his opponent's Flaffy drop to the ground, unconscious. "That Pokemon's a liability..." he taunted. "It's far too slow." Watching as Fluffy was recalled, he growled as he saw Cynder appear before him. Curse that lava-rat and his resolve!
-
The red-haired boy couldn't help smirking as he watched his Zubat's prey unable to move. Excellent... Astonish worked wonders. This will be over quickly. Watching as Zubat continued its Astonish, Silver realised he needed to move swiftly. His opponent always had a way to think quickly and beat him. "Zubat!" he called out. "No more delays. Leech Life!" Zubat began to glow, his smirk widening somewhat as he felt its energy draining aura ebb.
