Another reason the DC failed commercially was due to the lack of third-party support. DC games were easy to copy and play due to the lack of any real copy-protection. As such, many third-party publishers opted to steer clear of the system. Except for Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 and Virtua Fighter 3tb, every game I owned when I had the DC was a burned copy, or homebrew.

Ingo was furious, especially moreso when he discovered the horse Link had won with was Epona. Suddenly, his expression changed to a smug smirk. "Hahaha!" the man laughed. "As promised, I will give the horse to you." Ingo's smirk widened. "However..." he snickered. "You will not leave this ranch!" Snapping his fingers, Ingo stood smugly in front of the gates, which automatically closed behind him. Link fought back a growl. Damn that bastard! He cheated! Epona gave a soft snort, and the boy suddenly realised that he wasn't trapped. With a grin, he backed Epona up. Ingo glanced at him curiously, watching in shock as Link suddenly surged the horse forward at top speed, the majestic creature jumping over the gates with ease. He rode past the ajar doorway, not noticing the twin pairs of eyes that were watching him.
-
Link grinned as Epona shot over the finish line with quite some distance to spare. Ingo gave a groan of annoyance and challenged Link to a second race, claiming the first to be a warm-up. Rolling his eyes, Link accepted with a nod, the boy giving Epona enough time to catch her breath, patting her side gently. You did great. However, if indeed that was a warm-up, we need to be careful. Ingo might try playing dirty this time around. Enough time had passed, and the two were ready again. The race began and Ingo shot forward, with Link right at his side. However, this time, the moustached man tried to steer his horse to the right, to force Epona into the wall. No you don't, you cheater! Giving a soft growl, he slowed Epona down, giving a satisfied smile at Ingo's shock. Using this to his advantage, he shot Epona forward, passing by the outside of Ingo's horse, sporting a wide smirk as he did. Steering Epona back on track, Link sent her towards the finish line, and gave a chuckle of victory. Epona... it looks like I get to keep you with me.
-
Upon seeing Link doing well while riding the horse, Ingo challenged him to a race, telling him he could keep the horse he chose if he won. With a grin, Link wagered 50 rupees. The conditions were set, and after preparation, the two were off. Link manoeuvred Epona strategically, before moving her inwards, riding past Ingo and increasing speed steadily so as not to tire out the horse. This race is ours, Epona!

Because Hunter is totally a badass Sage of Ice.

Moving forward, Link didn't notice the door that opened, prying eyes staring after him. He headed straight for Ingo, who told him of the recent change in management. Offered to ride a horse, he shrugged and handed over ten rupees, before being let into the pen. So many majestic horses... but that one over there... it looks like the most majestic of all. Unfortunately, as he approached, the horse backed away, before indignantly galloping away. Suddenly, he was remembered of something. Epona... she used to be afraid of me... of any newcomers... maybe this horse... Bringing out the Ocarina of Time, he played the melody he learned in the past. The horse immediately turned around and galloped back towards Link, stopping in front of him, giving a happy snort. Opening his eyes, Link smiled and reached out, gently petting the horse. Epona... it is you. You remember me?
-
Finally arriving at the gates, Link strode on in, glancing around and taking in the sights. This place... it's where I learned that melody... I wonder if she's here... I wonder if her dad will let me borrow a horse...
-
Skipping forward a little... The field seemed the same as it was in his youth, although it looked much emptier. The lack of Peahats certainly did much for that. Not too far off, he noticed Lon Lon Ranch, and thinking of the horses within, figured he'd pay the place a visit. I wonder how Talon, Malon and Ingo are doing?
-
A treasure chest poofed into existence and Link opened it, grabbing the treasure from within. Holding it above his head like a massive dork, he smiled as he remembered Kaze poking fun at him for such posing. I really hope she survived. Maybe I should look for her... but first, I need to leave the village and find a faster way of traversing Hyrule Field.

Link managed to follow Dampé's spirit, which kept throwing down fire to help light the way. Keeping up quite nicely, he made it into the final chamber, the door slamming down behind him. I never want to come back here again...
-
So, Link did just that. Putting the journal down, he left the hut and searched the cemetery. Finally, he noticed an unmarked tombstone. Pulling it open, he gasped as he saw a hole. Maybe... down there? Shrugging up at Navi, he dropped down the hole, glancing around when he landed. Wow... this place is--what the?! Floating ahead of him was Dampé's ghost.
-
Kakariko Cemetery, a location that still seemed fresh in Link's mind. The boy stared around, the entire place seeming deserted. I wonder if Dampé is still here... Walking to the tomb keeper's hut, he gently knocked on the door and turned the handle, surprised that it opened. This is strange... it's usually locked. Opening the door, the boy glanced around inside, noticing it was empty, an open journal resting on a nearby table.
-
Noticing ReDead lurking about in the marketplace, Link held his breath and silently began to tiptoe past them. If I make a sound, I'm as good as dead... Luck was on his side, as the undead creatures didn't notice him. As he made it out, he breathed a sigh of relief, before heading into the field. Kaze... I hope you're still alive, somewhere out there...

I should let you know, a lot of the imagery is placeholder for now, until she finishes working on them.

It's coming along, although a little slowly. Sherri has been experiencing major snow difficulties, odd for Florida. So she hasn't been able to work much on it the past few days. However, what she has done, you can see by going to http://www.ibskin.com/forums and changing the skin to "Gamer's Collective 3.4.6 (custom)".
-
Hearing Saria's voice in his mind gave the blond a sense of relief, but upon learning she was in danger, the urgency he felt to protect her was extreme. Nodding up at Navi, he headed outside, gasping at what he saw. The town is... destroyed!

Base64 would not be a viable way of doing so, since HostGator tries to restrict it from being used where possible. A lot of base64 code can often trigger a positive with AV systems. As for the others, they're really just minor nit-picks. I like your search button replacement though. With the skin now being worked on, I'll be waiting for it to start showing on the IBSkin forums, to follow its progress. Bleh... writing at around 4AM has me being sleepy.

Some of it actually does look nice, but at the same time, we have to take into account the CSS capabilities. It would also be wise to not adversely affect server load. Also, remember that the images provided are just mere mock-ups. The actual skin may look a little different, based on the coding provided for it. Also, the mock-up shows things that we don't actually have on here, namely the arcade, store and chat. As for attaching images, users in lower-ranking groups cannot upload attachments in the conventional way that I have been. That is how the permissions are set, as outlined in the Group Permission Index.

That can easily be done. :3

Okay, so I emailed Sherri back with the idea, and she embraced it and provided me with this: It beautifully merged the two together, and even she is more satisfied with it. I gave AikoRikiDaichi a first-hand look at this mock-up, and he felt that everyone would likely want to use that skin. With that said, and based on earlier comments on the other two mock-ups, I gave Sherri the go-ahead, and she will now begin making the skin. So, we are now on the way to having an awesome new design. :3

Okay... time up. I've noticed that there is a bit of division. Some prefer the lighter colour, others prefer the darker version... and then Zeth messaged me on Skype with his preference. Option 3... the background from Option 1, with the rest of option 2. I must say, it looks like it could fit, so I'll pass that along to Sherri. Variant 1 was more popular with people who told me their preference over Skype, so yeah... I will return with more information when there's more the post about.

Randomness, my friend... randomness.

I love you... in a totally friendly way that by no means indicates I want to engage in any sort of fornication with you, because I am gay, which means that I only fornicate with those who are the same gender as me, although I will gladly give you hugs because I'm a very huggy person... Unlike Kaiba. >.>

Okay, so I got excited and paid the deposit and for the rest of the skin, to which Sherri started working on very quickly. I have just received an email from her. Now for the beauties. Here is the first mock-up, with two variations: Variant 1: Variant 2: Which one flows well with you guys? Give me an answer within 30-45 minutes, so I can respond to Sherri. :3
