Turning to face Kaze, the boy nodded. "Mmmh..." Glancing at the moat, he walked over to it, suddenly jumping in as he saw something sparkle.

-
Sonic brought Light closer, continuing to kiss his beloved, repressing a chuckle as he heard Riley's surprised gasps. "Wait, man... you mean you and he... oh, wow..." Pulling away from the kiss, Sonic gently pressed his lips to Light's forehead. "I've been waiting to do that for hours..."
-
His chest feeling strange all of a sudden, Sonic moved away and just sat there silently with Nights, even as the storm continued to rage outside.
-
Brushing himself off, Link stood, silently staring after Ganondorf as he rode off into the distance. Even as the storm clouds began to disperse, he continued to stare. I will stop you...
-
"No problem..." Sonic smiled a little wider, before moving his head, planting a soft kiss on the Nightmaren's cheek. "Thank you, for keeping me safe. You helped me more than you can truly comprehend."
-
The Gerudo snorted, staring down at the two children. "So, you think you can protect them from me?" he taunted. "You kids have guts..." Drawing his sword and shield, Link glared defiantly at Ganondorf, but began to tremble as the man suddenly smirked wickedly, snickering cruelly. "You want a piece of me?" he laughed. "Very funny, I like your attitude!" Holding his hand out in front of him, Ganondorf gathered energy, before firing it at Link, the orb smacking into his chest and knocking him onto his butt with a scream. "Pathetic little fools!" he snarled out. "Do you brats know who you're dealing with? I am Ganondorf, and soon, I will rule the world!"
-
Sonic cast a grin at his classmate, the same dog who playfully teased him the previous day. "Sorry, Riley... only those special to me get my hugs." Whispering softly to Light that a rumour may already have started, the blue hedgehog gave his warm smile, before leaning forward and pressing their lips together.
-
The blue hedgie blushed himself and drew the other boy into his arms. This action however, gained attention. "Hey, Sonic... where's my hug, huh?" Said boy glanced over to see one of his classmates grinning at him, though not seeming to care about what he was doing.
-
Ganondorf growled in irritation at the princess' escape, suddenly turning his attention to the children. "You two must've seen the white horse gallop past..." he said. "Which way did it go? Answer me!" Terrified, Link took a step backwards.
-
The hedgehog shook his head, resting his forehead against the other's. "While I may not be able to read dreamer's emotions, I can still tell it bothers you. But if it makes you feel better, I think you're very strong... very special, Nights."
-
Ears flickered happily as the blue hedgehog's smile widened. "I'm glad you liked them. I made them while thinking of you... so I used extra love while making them."
-
The drawbridge suddenly lowered, and Link found himself shivering. His nightmare began playing out before his eyes, as Princess Zelda, on a white horse, went riding past in great haste. In her desperation, she threw something into the moat. As she disappeared into the distance, the boy suddenly heard more gallops. They came to a stop and he turned around, finding himself face to face with Ganondorf. It's him! That evil man!
-
Another kiss was given, and Sonic pulled back. "Please, Light... try one of these pancakes."
-
Glancing back at Nights, Sonic frowned slightly and wrapped his own arms around the other. "I'm sorry if I brought up something painful for you. It was not my intent."
-
*presses Fast Forward button* Storm clouds were in the air, and as rain came down, Link suddenly got a dreadful feeling. As he got closer to the town entrance, he gasped at what he saw. Why is the drawbridge up?
-
Throwing caution to the wind, Sonic leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to the white hedgehog's lips. Thankfully though, nobody was paying attention, so there were no chatters about his actions, though he did have to chuckle to Shade. "Sorry if I made you lose your appetite, but your brother... he means a lot to me... y'know?"
-
With a shy smile, Sonic glanced away again. "I know you're a Nightmaren. I learned about you from a Nightopian. They said that Nightmaren were Nightmare's elite... but you decided to help instead of haunt."
-
The blond nodded his head in the direction of the castle. We need to see the princess.
-
Smile widening, the blue hedgehog approached his beloved and the little munchkin. "It's good to see both of you again. I thought you might be a bit hungry, so I made pancakes. I... hope you like them." Standing directly in front of Light, Sonic blushed slightly and gave a soft murmur. "I missed you, Light."
-
Returning his attention to in front of him, he suddenly gasped as the princess was nowhere to be seen. Instead, her giggle sounded in his mind, with her requesting her father not be told. What does she mean? Glancing back at Kaze, the boy suddenly blinked. What's the matter with her?
-
Sonic arrived soon after, and immediately began searching around for his beloved. Ignoring the chatter of the other students, he gave a smile as he saw Light approach, though he did raise an eyebrow in intrigue as he saw Shade with him. It's a good thing I made too many. I'm pretty sure Shade'd like some too.
-
Sonic nodded. "You defied your original purpose in order to protect those who dream. You're truly a wonderful person, Nights." Another clap of thunder sounded, but the hedgehog didn't even flinch.
-
Ruto seemed to understand what he meant, before handing him what she referred to as the Zora Engagement Ring. Holding the gem before him, Link gave a smile, not realising what he'd just gotten himself into. Now, we should return to the castle. Princess Zelda will be pleased!
-
Picking up his backpack and slinging it over his shoulder, Sonic headed out, on his way to school. He glanced briefly at the pancakes he had made. I hope he likes these.
