Silver > * I mean, as a character, he grew the most. He started out as a total fucking jerk, who used Pokemon as tools, but ended up growing and maturing, eventually being a lot kinder. He still maintained a stoic demeanor, but he became a lot more respectable, even more caring towards Pokemon. Reports of this nature are best done in the Bug Tracker (accessible by hovering over the More dropdown menu at the top of the forums and selecting Bug Tracker), but regardless, I managed to fix the issue. It was due to a setting within the Admin controls. I accidentally had it set to go to the last post in the topic, as opposed to first unread post. This has been changed to the desired effect.

In regards to music, while I don't speak for Nitroflasher, punk7890 and Zeth, I doubt they will want their music to be used for your project. Also, I highly recommend you refrain from titling you project as Ura. It WILL open old and new wounds alike. Instead, focus on calling it something else, and come up with an original setting for it. I'm not saying this for the sake of ego or anything, but I don't want anyone to have any severe backlash over the desire to continue a project that was doomed to fail.

In approximately 24 hours, I will be away for a week. I may periodically check back in from time to time, but for the most part, I am leaving the administration team in charge of the community in my absence. I'm heading off to Sydney, for the EB Games Expo, so be prepared for me to come back with a whole bunch of pics, and possibly (hopefully) video footage as well.

Something I'm sure some of you may have noticed by now, a few additions have been made to the community. From aesthetic to accessibility, these are just a few of the additions: Random video game quotes: The top of the site will load a random quote from a video game, each and every time the page changes, or is refreshed. New Facebook page: Yes, a new Facebook page has been added. Providing I have things set right, it should pull news directly from the community whenever it's posted. Facebook/Twitter Connect: The ability to create an account, or log in to your existing account by using Facebook and/or Twitter. Any status updates you make on The GCN can be set on FB/Twitter, and vice-versa. Facebook Like: Wanna like the official Facebook page? Feel free to do so. You can also directly visit the page whenever you like. Removal of IP.Board/IP.Board Mobile skins: The default skins are kinda meh, so I hid them. Other additions may very likely be made in the near future.

That's something that Zeth and I will be discussing. We need to catalogue the entire thing.

It is a sad day for Nintendo. Hiroshi Yamauchi, who revolutionised the gaming industry, has passed away after suffering complications with pneumonia. He was 85 years of age. While a lot of what he did could be considered controversial, he did set the tone for the video gaming industry, and let us not forget that it was he who made the decision to hire our beloved Shigeru Miyamoto, in spite of the latter's inexperience with video games in general. A lot of information can be found floating all around the interwebs, so I'll refrain from posting repeat information, but I do ask... how do you feel at this news? Is there anything you may wish to comment on the topic?
