Shadow Fire

With a nod, the Zora suddenly threw five blue rupees into the water below. "Alright..." he said. "You have 50 seconds. Start diving!"

Stepping into the jetstream, Sonic gave a soft sigh as the hot water splashed down on him. He loved hot showers, as they seemed to soothe him. He ignored the soft whispers of his classmates at his first-time defeat in dodgeball, although he did raise an eyebrow at their suggestion that he was quite hung-up over the new guy. Now, there's an interesting thought, if I ever heard one... Once again, Sonic glanced over at Light, not realising his cheeks had begun to glow a soft pink.

Grinning, the blond shrugged cheekily, as if saying it was up to Kaze.

Sonic kept stealing glances at the other male. His chest hurt as he recalled memories of his past. "It's true, Shadow... I... I really like you... more than just my bestest friend..." Forcing the memories out of his mind, Sonic headed into the showers, beginning to strip down.

Shaking his head, Sonic finally managed to get his tongue back from the cat (wtf Big? lol) and gave another grin, with a thumbs-up. "Definitely! Those were some awesome moves!" The whistle was blown again, the students dispersing to the showers. Beginning to head off himself, Sonic glanced over his shoulder at Light. "Coming along?"

The Zora grinned at Kaze and extended an arm towards her. "If you would like to play as well..." he continued. "I will include you for no extra charge. Who will be first?"

But... that's impossible! The same airskates he had seen five years ago seemed to now be on this hedgehog who was like an inverted version of Shadow. Taking a step back, he watched as Light dodged effortlessly, and managed to secure victory in the game. Eyes still wide, he was speechless as the white hedgehog approached him. Could it be? Are you...?

The blue hedgehog was amazed at Light's abilities. He's just like Shadow! Could he be... from another world? Or could it just be coincidence? Sonic watched in awe as Light gave a grin that brought back so many memories.

Sonic gasped as he saw what just happened. The others may be fooled, but that... that's Chaos Control!

Upon arrival, Link was greeted by the Zora, who informed him of a diving game, where his prize would allow him to dive deeper underwater. "All it costs is 20 rupees..." the Zora added. "Would you like to play?" Link cast a glance at his female friend.

It was then that Link noticed a set of stairs that led upwards. Pointing, he began walking, bringing Kaze with him. I think we need to go up here.

Lifting himself off the ground, Sonic brushed the grass off his clothes and forced a grin. "Heheh... first time for everything. Be careful, Light." Zipping over to the sideline, Sonic watched as the game resumed.

OFF TOPIC: Because the characters can totally hear the area music. >.>lol As he glanced around and walked forward, he noticed a Zora standing atop a great waterfall, who grinned down at both of them, seemingly beckoning them to him.

Sonic's eyes opened, and he nodded, giving a little gulp. He's so close to me... he feels so light... I... Before he could react, the gym teacher chuckled and stood over the two of them. "Okay... I think you've been down there long enough. You both look okay... but Sonic... never thought I'd say this: You're out." A sheepish grin came to the blue hedgehog's face as he stared up at Light.

Another ball was thrown at Light, and in an instant, Sonic had jumped out and caught it, countering swiftly, and hitting the other player. Wow... he's good at dodging... and his actions are quite fluid. Almost like... no! I can't keep thinking about him. He's gone. Ugh... just focus on the game. He was too preoccupied to initially notice a fastball heading towards Light. Knowing he had too little time to catch the ball, he settled for a more extreme option. Lunging for Light, he wrapped his arms around him and spun, barely managing to feel the ball bump against him as he landed on his back on the grass, giving a grunt as he felt the white hedgehog land atop him.

Turning back around, Link gasped as he glanced inside. Water... water everywhere. He also noticed strange fish-like creatures swimming around. Are they the... Zoras?

With a grin, Sonic nodded over at Light. "Alright... let's see how we can do." The whistle was blown, the blue hedgehog lobbing the ball at a mole on the other team.

Turning to Kaze, the blond reached down and took a hold of the girl's hand, smiling warmly at her, before motioning with his head that they should continue. We should meet the locals.

Back out on the field with the rest of the class, the gym teacher had chosen Sonic as one of the captains of the dodgeball teams, choosing a dog as the other captain. Taking a hold of the ball, Sonic grinned and immediately spoke the name of the first person he selected for his team. "Light."

Jumping through, Link shivered as water trickled onto the back of his neck. Turning back to face Kaze, he extended his hand, beckoning her to follow.

As Sonic changed, he gave a slight smile. Light, huh? He seems like a rather nice guy. A tad shy, though it is his first day at a new school, so I'll give him that. Smile fading, Sonic slowed his pace. He looks just like... him. Could they be...? Shaking his head, Sonic gave a sigh, finishing up, and placing his regular clothes into his locker.

Glancing up at Navi, the blond nodded, before bringing out the ocarina that Saria had given him. Playing Zelda's Lullaby, Link took a step back in surprise as the waterfall began to recede, and soon, it was only trickling. A cavern behind the waterfall was in easy reach, and the boy could hear voices coming from within. This must be the place!

Another chuckle was given, the blue hedgehog finding a locker for Light. His grin widened when he realised the locker beside his was free, so he grabbed the key, before heading to the gymwear closet. "Hey, Light... find your size and put them on. Oh, and here's your locker key. I'm gonna go get changed. We're still a bit early. Everyone else must be stragglin' behind. Heh... slowpokes."

Heading along the river and slaying enemies he encountered, Link finally found himself standing before a gigantic waterfall. Hmmm... how do I get in here?
