  1. Ironically, that was an error on Vegas PRO's part. I'd had intended for it to only show the site credentials and Enter the zone text, but it rendered the entire thing.
  2. Surprise! I managed to upload the Temple of Light and Palace of Ice videos on the official GCN YouTube channel. -
  3. I WOULD have complained. I see a lot more professionalism in our EB Games stores from staff who have no idea about games at all. Personally, I'm trying to get a job at one of the EB Games stores, because I'm always in there, I know the staff, and I'm repeatedly helping customers by explaining about the details of game consoles, and game information that they may or may not know. While I do intend to (if I have the money) get an XB1, I still haven't put down the other consoles. I REALLY want a Wii U, and Final Fantasy XV is reason enough for me to want a PS4. So... yeah.
  4. ...just pre-ordered the PS3 Collector's Version of this game.
  5. Do I smell a rehash of High School Blues? :3
  6. I can always make one myself. I still have the save-state for it and, with the right tools and stuff, could make a video. Or I could send the save-state to someone who could do it for me. I'd just then have to splice the music into the video. Nevermind... I forgot... I cleaned my stuff out. The save-states are gone.

  8. The owl noticed Link and ruffled his feathers. "Hi there, heroes!" he hooted. "Beyond this point lies Lake Hylia. It is full of deep, pure water. The Zoras, who live all the way upstream, guard the sunken temple at the lake's bottom, as well as Zora's Fountain. If you want to confirm its location, just check the Map. All the places you have visited will be shown on the map. Ho hoo hoot!" After giving that bit of information, he ruffled his feathers some more and flew off, leaving Link and Kaze to figure out how to continue on. Large boulders blocked their path. I wonder... will bombs work?
  9. Returning to nibbling on his chocolate, he gave a soft sigh and glanced away. The hell's wrong with me?
  10. While sleeping, Silver's dreams were of his entire experience with Ethan. I miss you... I wish you were here with me... Eyes slowly opening, the larger Totodile gave a soft yawn, glancing over at his smaller companion. ...but what happens if I become human again? Will I have to leave him behind? Closing his eyes once more, he laid back down and returned to his sleep, unaware that Ethan had arrived in Unova.
  11. I thought I might point out, you missed a perfect opportunity to say 'Nintendon't'. Meh... that ad was retarded.
  12. Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess both say hi. Skull Kid (or Stal Kid if you're like me and prefer the Japanese naming) was a foe in both games. OoT sported SK as an enemy for Adult Link, while TP had you fighting him twice. He actually had a lot of impact. In regards to movesets, they could easily be made. Nintendo don't skimp on creativity.
  13. Any other participants for this challenge yet?
  14. No matter how many times I see that, it still makes me lol.
  15. May I ask what exactly you were impressed about? There were plenty of games that made my mouth water, especially Titanfall. Fuck, that game looked beautiful. The upcoming MGS title has made me even more curious about the genre. Ryse was intriguing. I have always been fond of the voice command and camera features of Kinect, plus there's the thing MS are doing that's similar to PS+. Two free games a month for Gold Members is nice, and I've always wanted to get a 12 month membership. Don't get me wrong. I know, and can accept that Sony totally blew Microsoft away at E3, but to deny that I enjoyed seeing a lot of what they had.
  16. I think I was the only one who was somewhat impressed with the lineup they had, and the capabilities they showed off. My cousin, who was wary about the XB1 is now planning on pre-ordering it. I admit, I feel like doing the same.
  17. Now I am going to step in here. In no way, shape or form is Branden acting like the Nazis, much less Zeth. I was staying back for a while to see if this would fix itself. I was wrong. Essentially, Branden was right in what he requested. Wanting to have a civilised discussion with other Sony fans isn't by any means, the wrong thing to do. Now, as an eclectic gamer, I've noted that everyone seems to be one side or the other, especially so with the "Nintendo fanboys". Sony has received a lot of hate, and I will admit, I poke fun at it at times, but I can appreciate it. Even I am getting sick of all the people saying "Oh, the <insert Sony console> isn't worth it because <insert x reason>". Personally, I don't yet want a Vita, because it's not something I feel I will utilise as often. However, that's my own personal opinion. Something I choose to keep to myself in topics where people are just trying to discuss the console with others who own/appreciate it. In the end, I don't think challenging someone to prove something's worth is appropriate. If you don't have any interest in it, simply ignore the topic. It's not that difficult a thing to do. It's what I was planning to do myself, but now I find myself having to play Overlord once more. tl;dr: If you don't have any interest in something, clam up. You are not obligated to give your two cents worth.
  18. It is stated. The topic marked CHALLENGE GUIDELINES has it listed within.
  19. Nice. A contender already. :3
  20. Gamemaster: Shadow Fire REMAINING TIME You are all hereby challenged to play Tetrisphere for the Nintendo 64. Developed by H2O Entertainment, a Canadian company, this game gives a fresh approach to the classic Tetris that we are familiar with. Unlike other Tetris titles, the goal in Tetrisphere is somewhat different. You must free your robotic friends from within the spherical core. As time counts down, the sphere will start moving towards you. In order to successfully remove the blocks away from the core, you must perform successful drops of blocks. An unsuccessful drop, or having the sphere touch you will result in a penalty, and once you have incurred three penalties, it is game over. There are a variety of game modes, but this challenge will have you playing Time Trial. Instead of being required to free your companion from within the core, you must uncover a picture of your respective robot avatar. You will have five minutes to score as high as you can, and reach the highest level you can. With each passing level, the difficulty will increase. Good luck! CONTENTS The download pack will contain the following: A copy of the rules and some info A text file, titled after the game game, for you to record your score and final level achieved, as well as the date of completion, and any comments you may have for the game Please note: The game file will not be provided for this challenge, however, it can be found easily. You may need an emulator that can run N64 games. I'd expect that a majority of you would have at least one. RULES There will be a few rules in place to allow for a fair go: You must score as much as you can, and reach the highest level you can in one full run. No save states are to be used. You must play TIME TRIAL Mode, however, you can select whichever robot you like. For those of you with the ability to do so, you may record footage of your play. Either use a capture card, PC recording software, or even Livestream Procaster (provided you have a livestream.com account). However, inability to do so will not necessarily penalise you. If you are not sure how to play, you may use TUTORIAL mode, as well as looking for the instruction manuals, which can be found online. You can select which music plays during the game, or simply let the game automatically choose for you. External controllers are permitted, to make things easier (or harder, depending on your setup). Likewise, if you own it on the original console (N64, lol), you may play it on that system. Otherwise, you should know where to find the appropriate emulator. Do not post your records here. Instead, send me a PM with the provided text files, subject name being Tetrisphere Challenge. Ensure you do so by the deadline, as specified in the topic. The community challenge will have a deadline: 10:00PM on July 1, 2013 (Australian Eastern Standard Time). You can use an online timezone converter to find out when exactly that is in your timezone, or simply look at the provided countdown timer above. PRIZE The person with the highest overall score and highest finishing level will be awarded with a prize, an item under $20 from the official GCN Spreadshirt Shop, as well as being awarded with the Achievement for winning the challenge. 23. Branden, I can never take you seriously anymore. Every single time I see a post from you, your avatar makes me think "Accio Bum!"... Relevance to this topic, none... except, while I think flying off the handle isn't necessarily something that should be done, this console may most likely falter, with what has been confirmed. Some features seem good, while others are just weird in comparison.
