  2. Oops!I totally forgot to welcome you. Welcome! Please, enjoy your stay!
  3. Zant. DAT SKREEM!!!1 But seriously, it was refreshing to have a different enemy for a while, even though I KNEW Ganondorf would ultimately be the main enemy. ... Sonic or Shadow?
  4. Mario Kart 7. I've heard good things about it. I have MKDS, and it's kinda meh. Nintendo 3DS/XL or PS Vita?
  5. Modifying the system's code is not something I can do, due to the way it's coded. I refuse to run the risk that it will completely mess up the community. Again, I can NOT modify the code in the system without running a massive risk. Considering the amount of complaining that's going on about it, I'm taking the system offline, and I'm just going to remove it altogether. It was something I installed to have a little fun around, but people don't seem to appreciate anything, so... that's it. Nevermind... silly overreacting...
  6. There was a modification that existed years ago that I'd have loved to have been able to get, called RPG Inferno. Unfortunately, it did cost a fair bit, but it was awesome. Sadly, it no longer exists, and I wish I could be coded for the more recent forum software. The current system, I will admit is flawed. I have it set up to send PMs to people regarding attacks, and invites to guilds and such, but it seems to not be working. As for what Naxy said, it is quite true. I can't really tamper with the coding in this, nor do I really want to risk it, for fear of breaking the entire forum structure. If you don't wish to play, that is fine. Being attacked has no consequence. I attack SoD just to be funny.

  10. Going through my memory, waging war with the Viet Cong, and trying to kill some evil Russian dudes, while trying to prevent a deadly gas from being spread over the US. Succeed in the end, only to realise that I may have been directly responsible for the death of President John F. Kennedy. All the while, these numbers keep repeating in my head. Call of Duty: Black Ops...
  11. Smash Bros. (obviously) Don't get me wrong. Sony's looks interesting, but they're utilising a lot of second-rate lineups. Smash Bros. on the other hand, all the characters are amazing. Plus, managing to troll people with Jigglypuff? WIN! Sabrina: The Teenage Witch or Sabrina: The Animated Series?
  12. Unfortunately, it seems that nobody could do this challenge, even with the extended deadline. Such a pity.
  13. Well, since getting back from the EB Games EXPO, I've been busy working, and not just with my actual occupation. I've also made some new changes to the community, so I feel I should share some of these changes. HIDDEN CONTENT & GRATUITY MOD One of the new features is Hidden Content. Put quite simply, the staff have it in their power to hide certain post content that will only reveal itself once the topic is replied to. This is to hopefully instill community activity. Another mod that coincides with Hidden Content is the Gratuity Mod, aka the Thanks Button. If you wish to show your support to a topic creator, you can thank them for their contribution by pressing the Thanks button underneath their post. This also coincides with the Hidden Content mod, and you can use that to show anything that has been hidden. Pretty nifty, huh? CHAT SYSTEM Much like Facebook, you can now send Instant Messages to other users, allowing for a quicker way to communicate. Not only that, but the system also comes with chatroom support. You can create your own chatroom, or visit one of the rooms already in place. It is accessible at the bottom of the site, although if you wish to hide it, simply click on the double down arrows on the far right of the chat bar. BATTLE SYSTEM Since this is a gaming related community, I figured that for giggles, I'd install a battle system. This allows users to fight one another in a harmless manner, using weapons provided. You earn Rahls (the currency) and experience from each successful battle, and as you level up, you become stronger, with access to more powerful weaponry. Bear in mind that the administration is already boosted to a higher starting level, just to make things interesting. The battle system is found in the More tab, at the top of the site, and only registered users can access this system.

  19. I just extended the challenge... it now expires on October 23, 2012 at 10:00pm, AEST.
  20. I was racing around war-torn areas, dodging bullets and explosions... trying not to get killed, and to kill the enemy. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3... a-yup.
  21. There is actually a good reason for this. As much as I hate it, DSi and 3DS region locking was put in place because each country have their own specialised rating system. It helps to keep Nintendo covered, just in case a game is released that is not permitted by another regions ratings board. It's also effective at keeping the industry afloat in specific regions... although, in my case, it's kinda pointless. I own an American 3DS and 3DS XL, so I can only get my games from Amazon or Ebay. My gripe isn't so much with the gaming industry itself... moreso the gamers. And here's one that irritates me... Kids and Mature Games: We all know that a lot of people are CoD/Battlefield/Some other FPS fans, and hey, that's okay... they're quite enjoyable. However, what I hate is playing said game online, and hearing kids who are too young to be playing these mature games, and the parents who refuse to take responsibility. Y'know what my gaming experience was like as a kid? I couldn't get a game rated over M15+ (the M rating is RECOMMENDED for ages 15 and up, while the MA rating is RESTRICTED to 15 and up). And believe me, my mum and stepfather would always check the ratings, to make sure the game was suitable for me to play. Although, sometimes they let me get an MA rated game, albeit, everytime it was played, I respected that they would be keeping watch (because back then, games couldn't be played online on consoles, and I was a total wuss ). However, it seems that these days, parents have no respect for the ratings that are on games, buying graphic games for their 10 year old kids, who then, are the worst of the worst on live chat. Which brings me to my next one... Swearing/Cussing over chat: Yes, it's easy to let your emotions carry you, especially if you encounter cheap deaths or the like. But swearing and cussing, and being a total asshole to fellow gamers is just sickening. Again, the CoD fanbase is mostly to blame. For example, I was playing a match online with a friend, and we entered into a game, only to find out that some people on the other team were modding. However, it wasn't anything they said. Someone who was on MY team quit the game, and sent me a message saying, and I quote: GOOK U SUCK. I had a good laugh at that, considering he left the game, I was suffering from lag, and the other team was cheating. He also thought I was a "gook", which is the racist term used to describe Vietnamese people. I'm sorry, but at the time, all my mottos and stuff were written in Japanese. However, I think I hit him for six, as I sent him a message, in perfect English (grammar and punctuation included, as always...), which told him that I wasn't a gook, I was actually Australian. Secondly, it was hard to play well when there were cheaters, and that yes, I do suck, and his friends were all screaming for more. I also told him that we were playing a *insert profanity here, because I was irate* game. Anyway, past experience aside, this whole swearing and unsporting behaviour with online gaming affects all ages, and even the little kids are doing it. Again, people don't take responsibility. Seriously, I'm going to be getting mean with my Xbox LIVE. After my recent banning episode, I'm gonna be a total nark. If I have people spouting unsporting crap, especially if they're clearly too young for the game they're playing, I'll be taking down gamertags, as well as recording the reasons, and I'll be contacting Xbox LIVE personally... >.>
  22. Umbra had a brief exchange with Fyer, mentioning the special ride. With a grin, he faced his beloved. "We get this time for free... so, c'mon, my dark prince... let us soar..."
  23. Espio couldn't help smiling a little wider. Charmy was really too adorable for his own good. "Yeah... I guess it is..." Hugging back, he slowly reached a hand up and gently pressed it to the bee's cheek. Leaving it there, he turned back to face the elder. "Father... I'm... sorry... for the trouble I caused... back then..."
  24. I'm taking care of Chao. And when I'm not doing that, I'm fucking up mech and artificial chaos. Then, I'm saving the world from being annihilated by a space colony. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle HD. :3
