Shadow Fire

UpgradeIn approximately 12-24 hours time, I will be taking The GCN offline to perform the upgrade. This upgrade will be massive, and will change how The GCN is viewed. I have provided a couple users with a quick demo of what to expect, and it was met with positivity. Please bear in mind that an upgrade of this magnitude will take time, so we ask that you be patient with us. On another note, this upgrade will cost us our skins, but they will be reinstalled once they have been upgraded by the skin authors. I know this is irritating, but please have faith, you will not be disappointed with the end result.

The Black Mages shouted "KILL!" each time they cast a spell. Clearly, they were simply puppets. Zidane gritted his teeth when he saw Thorn and Zorn. "You!" he hissed. "How did I know I'd see you two again?" Zorn stared at the tailed boy, moving his head to the side. "Who is that?"

Umbra's grin widened and he moved closer. "But y'see... the power wasn't yours to begin with. It was his. If only you could have seen us, but I suppose you will... eventually. Now... time for you to rest. Dusk and I will finish this for you."

Umbra grinned ominously. It wasn't a pleasant sight to behold. "Really, now? How do you think Dusk and I felt. Sealed away for countless years. Finally transferred into the two of you. Finding each other once more." With another grin, he placed a hand on Diggs' cheek. "But you have my word. I will find a way to get you and Link separated."

The Subscreen Delay Fix is standard in most emulators. Which one are you using?

Ryuichi closed his eyes and moved away, sighing. Opening his eyes and looking up, he gave a slight smile. "I wonder..." he murmured. "Anyway, Shuichi... let's not waste our time. We've fun to have." The brunet fixed his gaze back onto the pink-haired boy.

Ryuichi lifted a hand, cupping Shuichi's cheek as he pulled away from the kiss. "Shu..." he murmured, eyes opening. "I like you."

Sonic instantly froze. Wizeman? That... With a nod, the blue hedgehog placed a hand on the Nightmaren's shoulder. "Okay... I'll come with you... but first, you need to take it easy... you're still in no shape to be doing anything."

With a smile, Link caught Kaze before she could hit the ground. Silent as ever, he set her down and glanced around.

The brunet found himself lost in Shuichi's eyes. Slowly, he closed the distance, eyes closing as he brushed his lips gently over the other boy's.

Ryuichi's face chibified, his eyes closing and giving a smile, he leaned forward and licked at the ice-cream on the younger male's nose. Eyes opening, he suddenly stopped, feeling strange in his chest. "Shuichi..."

Link quickly sauntered over to his beloved, draping his arms around the older male. "I'm glad I got to see you again. I asked Dusk to let me see you before they take back over. I'm not happy with it, but Umbra doesn't seem like a bad guy. He's even promised to find a way to seperate our forms." The Ordonian leaned in and gave his beloved a gentle kiss. Don't take too long, Link. I promised to give you some time with him... but I want to spend time with Dusk... to consume our passion. Pulling away from his kiss, the younger male stared into Diggs' eyes. "He wants us to relinquish control again. He... uh... wants to... have some intimacy with Dusk. Anyway, since I've seen Dusk, I figure it only fair that you get to see Umbra. I'll see you again soon, Diggsy. I love you." Closing his eyes for a moment, Link slowly staggered to the side for a moment, before eyes were opened again, having once again returned to their alternate colour, his skin and hair darkening to indicate he was now Umbra again. "So... you really do look almost exactly like him..."

Link gave a slight grin, taking steps towards Dusk. "You and I both know..." he began. "...the answer to that... But I know... I'm not meant to be. Just promise me that you'll find a way... A way to make Diggs and I able to have our own forms." A thought crossed his mind and his grin widened. "However..." he continued. "It would be nice for Diggs and I to have control. I'm sure he needs me now, as much as I need him."

Umbra approached the sword, but as he got close, a strange power began to ebb from it. Suddenly, a bright light shot out of it, and he let out a pained snarl. The light brightened, unrelenting, before finally fading away. In the place of the wolf stood his human form, but his eyes were once again a deep blue. Link had been given control of his form once more. He cast a stare over at Dusk.

Walking forward, Umbra finally made it to a mysterious meadow, noticing a sword resting within a strange pedestal. So that's it... the sword of legend... The one the Princess of Light spoke of.

Umbra finally managed to get the guardians back to where they were supposed to be, glancing up at them as they stared down at him. "Go now to the sacred place, beast..." they said in unison. "We yield passage to the Sacred Grove to you and the dark one." The wolf glanced over at Dusk, wondering if he was okay.

Zidane glanced worriedly at Vivi. "I sure hope Dagger didn't come here..." he murmured, before taking the mage's hand in his own. "C'mon. Let's go."

Shadow's lips curled slightly. "It won't take too long..." he murmured. "A few hours... a day at most."

It wasn't long before Ryuichi had finished his ice-cream, though when he glanced at Shuichi, he fought back a chuckle as he saw the other male's nose was covered in ice-cream.

One will be done eventually. But with our conflicting timezones, and Zeth's recent move, it's kinda difficult.

Actually, it's shiny platinum. Get it right.

OFF TOPIC: We established already that for the sake of this RP, Quina is identified as male. Considering the events of much later... *coughCondePetiecough* Quina blinked, before looking over at the young boy. "I Blue Mage..." he said, suddenly brandishing a fork. "I learn spell from monster. Will taste lots of yummy munchies." Zidane gave a grin. Blue Mage, huh? That could come in handy...

His fingers linking with the mage's, Zidane continued on, before glancing over at Quina, who was waddling along, looking every which way. Heh... I guess he really hasn't seen anywhere outside the marsh. This will be interesting.
