Shadow Fire

The Elite Guard widened his eyes. "This pendant...is it a Falcon Claw!?" he exclaimed. "...No. The shape is a little different. Call Minister Artania!" One of his guards instantly raced off to get the minister, while the Elite Guard continued to look at the pendant. Steiner took this opportunity to turn to Zidane. "You!" he boomed, glaring. "If you weren't such a filthy-looking oaf, they would not be so suspicious of us!" Zidane shook his head and shrugged. "Hey..." he countered. "I'm not the idiot with the loud voice, and the dirty, rusty armor." Steiner's eyes bulged out of his head. "WHAT!!!?"

The Elite Guard raised his other eyebrow. "You must be kidding! No member of the royal family, let alone a princess, would ever ride in such a shabby airship." "And look at the company you're keeping." Steiner gave an enraged growl. Zidane for once remained quiet. "How dare you accuse the princess of lying!?" the knight yelled. "The princess was forced to come here under extreme circumstances!" The Elite Guard merely shrugged, not really believing him. "Well..." he muttered. "Then show me some kind of proof of your royal heritage."

Zidane gave a soft chuckle. "Well..." he said. "Here comes the welcoming committee." The leader of the three guards, an Elite Guard, stared at the airship with a raised eyebrow. "Wow..." he muttered. "That's a really old airship."

I'm indifferent. Don't have a Wii anymore.

I do have Second Life. My user name, for those interested is Shang Skytower. Over the few years I've used it, I've put about $2000 into it. Is it worth it? It is, if you use it a lot. There are heaps of freebie things too, so you could live off those. :3

So, yeah... there's bound to be some games (which are already available) that you wish you had, but don't for some reason or other. Simply show off what these games are: For me, one such game is this: The game of course, is LenAi Holic. It's a visual novel, completely in Japanese. It's yaoi, of course. A friend of mine has it, and I wish I had a copy. I'll just have to see him when I next can and organise a copy for myself. =P In other news, I also want one of these babies: FUCK YES!

"Yeah..." Zidane murmured. "They don't call it Lindblum Grand Castle for nothing." Steiner looked quite amazed. "An indoor airship dock!" he exclaimed. "This is truly amazing...! Even her Majesty's Red Rose would easily fit in here." Zidane chuckled, before turning to Dagger. His grin became an expression of confusion as he saw her face. "...Dagger, you don't look too impressed..." he pointed out. "Have you been here before?"

Zidane gave a slight smile, though he still hadn't let go of Vivi's hand. He simply didn't realise he was still holding it. He watched as the cargo ship flew towards the castle, and docked.

Running back, Zidane grabbed a hold of Vivi's hand and pulled him out on deck. "You've gotta see Lindblum from above!" he exclaimed. "It's the best! Look, the Falcon's Gate is right in front of us!"

Steiner shook his head. "Master Vivi, why would those mages be the same as you?" he asked. "And why would it matter if they were...?" Zidane gave a warm smile. "Yeah..." he said. "Rusty's right!" Steiner blinked in shock. Zidane actually agreed with him? Zidane chuckled, before turning to Vivi. "Vivi..." he said softly. "You're an individual, no matter what happens!"

Zidane was caught off guard, so he didn't answer immediately, but Steiner piped up. "I don't understand, Master Vivi..." the knight said comfortingly. "Just what seems to be the problem...?"

Steiner blinked, before tears began appearing in his eyes. "Such kind words!" he blubbered. "I am not worthy! Well, now I've made up my mind! I vow to protect you, Princess, until we return to the castle!" Zidane gave a soft chuckle. "How do you feel about that, Dagger?" he laughed. "He'll follow you to the end of the world."

"Don't worry about it!" Zidane said confidently. "They'll fix it up in no time." Steiner glared at him. "You idiot!" he hissed. "The cargo ship was wrecked, we lost all the cargo, and South Gate was destroyed! I can't believe I played a part in this debacle!"

Zidane gave a smile, before slowly releasing Vivi and helping him to his feet. "I think we pushed it a little too hard..." he murmured, looking around as he noticed nobody was talking. "Why so silent, people? We made it! Come on, cheer up!"

The Black Waltz prepared to fire another Thundara spell, and Zidane threw his arms around Vivi and clutched him close to his chest, eyes closing. This... is it... The attack never came, as the Black Waltz's energy backfired and set his ship on fire, causing it to spiral out of control. Moment's later, the cargo ship shot through the gate and into Lindblum.

"Vivi!" Zidane called out, rushing out from the bridge, and helping Vivi up. Giving a slight smile, he suddenly growled as he noticed the Black Waltz's ship soaring towards them again. As they entered South Gate, the ship suddenly shuddered.

Steiner explained, or rather yelled, that the Black Waltz was in pursuit and that they should turn around. Zidane argued that the cargo ship would never outmaneuver the Black Waltz. Steiner, grudgingly agreeing, helped boost the ship. "Vivi!" Zidane suddenly yelled out. "Black Waltz is...!" The Black Waltz fired a Thundara attack towards the cargo ship.

During one of his performances, Belbet looked up at the sky and gave a slight smile. Jake, I know you're watching over me. Please... watch over all of us. Casting a glance back out at the audience, the corners of his lips curled up slightly more. Glancing out at his love, as well as his other former inmates, he returned to the performance. "Alright..." Zidane said. "We don't have clearance. They might close the gate on us. It should be okay, though. Security was totally lax when I came through here on the theater ship. It'll be fine, Captain Dagger!" He cast a glance out at Vivi. The mage looked so vulnerable.

The Black Waltz hissed as it took control of the ship. "I exist only to kill! I exist only to kill! I exist only to kill! I exist only to kill...!" Back on the other airship, Zidane glanced around. "Dagger..." he said softly. "Do you see South Gate?"
