Landing on the deck, the larger mage narrowed its eyes at Vivi. "So, No. 2 was defeated by a small child!" it growled. "You are no match against my power! Kwahahaha! Princess, stay there while I eliminate this child!" Suddenly, the other Black Mages walked in front of Vivi, staring defiantly, yet silently at the Black Waltz. "Are you protecting him?" it demanded, an amused tone to its voice. "...Nonsense. You are no different from mindless dolls! What can you do?"

No longer melted, Ryuichi got to his feet. No longer acting his childlike self, he gave a warm smile to Shuichi and reached his hand down, offering to help the other up.

Flinching again, Espio turned his glance to the side. "Our saviour... the black hedgehog Shadow... is in dire need. He needs to rest here so that the pure Chaos Energy can revitalise him. We are also looking for a way... to restore purity... to the Chaos Emeralds. We... won't be staying for long..."

Umbra stared up at Dusk, giving a soft nod. "That seems like a good idea. Let me take Midna though. It's too dangerous to teleport with her, so we'll need to take her the long way. You should teleport on ahead to see the princess, while I take Midna to that Telma woman. I can get her there faster on foot. We'll figure out how to fix Midna and turn me back. I love you... my Dusk." Gently, he nuzzled the older male, before taking off, the rain starting to come down.

Eyes opening, Umbra looked around, noticing they were on Hyrule Field. Suddenly noticing Midna's dying form on his back, he felt a sudden compassionate need to help her. A voice suddenly called down towards them. "O, heroes chosen by the goddesses... Go to the princess locked away in the castle. That princess holds the key that can unlock the shadow form..."

Suddenly, the Black Waltz flew down, and with a sinister cackle, cast a spell down towards Vivi.

Zant gave a snicker, knowing that Umbra was helpless to do anything, and Dusk would know better than to do anything that could result in his love's getting hurt. "How dare you?! Are you implying that my power is...our old magic? Now THAT is a joke! This power is granted to me by my god! It is the magic of the King of Twilight, and you WILL respect it!" He began to float around Midna, giving more soft snickers, dodging as Umbra lunged at him, before forcing a twilight crystal into his forehead. Umbra dropped to the ground, weakened. "My Midna... Did you forget? That beast is one of the light dwellers who oppressed our people. No matter how much you may desire otherwise, you will never be more than a shadow in their world. You cannot consort with their kind! But if we can make their world ours, Midna...light and darkness will meet at last. Our tribe will take back their realm...and sweet darkness will blot out this harsh light! And that, Midna, is why..." The Usurper King moved in close, his helmet retracting to allow his mouth to show, as he put it right next to the imp's ear. "I need you. Not just for me, but for all of our people... Lend me your power." Seeing Midna's defiant glare, he scoffed. "So be it... I will return you to the light world you covet!" With those words, he ripped the twilight away, but prevented Midna from returning to her Shadow form.

Belbet remained in slumber, curling closer to Evan, his naked flesh against his love's keeping both of them warm.

The new keyboardist gave a soft sigh and shook his head in bemusement. "I don't know which is more unbelievable..." he muttered. "The fact that Ryuichi Sakuma is now a part of Bad Luck, or that both he and Mr Shindou are both like children."

Zant used his power to summon the Fused Shadows, giving a soft chuckle from under his helmet, also using his power to hold Midna in mid-air. "Did you honestly mean to take an ancient and withered power like this and turn it against me? You are a foolish traitor, Midna. Why do you defy your king?"

Zidane, Vivi and Dagger had boarded, and sometime later, Zidane had spoken to Steiner, who informed him he would be executed. Indifferent, Zidane merely headed towards the bridge. As he did, Steiner seemed to ponder to himself. "At last!" he said. "Queen Brahne is sure to be pleased. However...the princess would have been left behind without the thief's aid. I shall petition for a life sentence on his behalf. Yes, that would be the honorable thing! But that was because the crew wouldn't listen! I must run a background check on them. Ah, yes. It is my duty as a knight!" Suddenly, the ship began to shake. Zidane was altering course. Meanwhile, another Black Waltz noticed the course change and glared after the ship, before heading off towards it.

Eyes sparkling even more, it was Ryuichi's turn to melt, a happy smile on his face. K simply smirked over at him. "Man..." he chuckled. "You are full of surprises."

Giving a nod, Belbet's smile became a sincerely warm one. "That..." he murmured. "...would be wonderful..." Those were his last words as he fell asleep, Evan's actions, combined with their lovemaking, causing him to relax completely.

Umbra stood on the portal, helping the other male on with him, as they were sent back to Lanayru's spring. However, when they arrived, they were in for a surprise. Zant was standing behind them. His helmet looked totally ominous. Lanayru came up to fend him off, but it was swiftly knocked back with the power of Zant's twilight magic. Once more, twilight filled the area, and Umbra had returned to wolf form. What the hell? But I'm back as my true self!

Espio flinched, coming to a stop, before continuing forward and entering into the tent. Noticing the chameleon inside, he knelt down in the chameleon salute of respect. "It's been a while... father..."

Belbet glanced down for a moment, before looking up with a haunted smile. "Well..." he began. "When we get released... what will we do?"

Caught by surprise at Vivi's question, the blond quickly composed himself and shook his head. "Not really..." he said comfortingly. "They're just dolls, Vivi."

Seeing Shuichi's confusion made Ryuichi blink, before he stared at the younger male's reddened cheeks. "Shuichi?" he asked. "I wanted to know something..." He still hadn't moved, and he took a breath, before saying it all as one word. "IwannajoinBadLuck! CanICanICanICanICanI?!"

The younger male extended his arms, bringing the older male into his embrace. "Evan?"

Sonic glanced over at Sheko, before looking back to Tails. "It's a long story... I don't think I should really go into it now."

Umbra pulled away, giving a wide smirk. "Fine... set up your pretty portal..."

Zidane smiled, before turning to face Vivi. "Yes, Vivi?" he asked. "What's up?"

Belbet murred as he pressed his back against the shower wall. "Mmmh..." he purred. "That feels so good."

Zidane gave an amused grin at Dagger's question. "No..." he chuckled, shaking his head. "It'll probably take us straight to Alexandria Castle."
