The larger Totodile nodded. "Yeah..." he mumbled. "I'm actually a human. I don't know how, but I'm now a Totodile. The human I'm looking for is my mate. That may be why I couldn't be captured." Lowering his gaze, he spoke softly, sadly. "I hope I find him..."
-
"Oh, okay." The smaller Totodile snapped his jaws as he continued to walk. "I think it's nice. Pretty." Silver, in the meantime, was wondering whether he should explain himself to the Butterfree. However, his maw seemed to have a mind of its own. "Hey, um... can I tell you the truth?"
-
Folding his arms and nodding, the green-hatted boy stared around the chamber. I wonder where a good place to start would be...
-
Talo gave a cry of disbelief, shrugging. "Do you see any Rupees in my hand?" he asked, incredulously. "I can't afford that thing! C'mon, Beth, can't you just loan it to us for a while?"

I made another one. Oh, shi--p...42C2-0000-0164-290F Engine: Super Mario Bros. 3 Level Type Airship (Ghost House sub level) Time 500 Watch your step as you navigate the skies above the Mushroom Kingdom. Will you escape with your life?

As the two proceeded deeper into the temple, they came to the central chamber. Suddenly, Link gasped as four ghosts appeared. Using their otherworldly power, they appropriated the flames from four strange torches, which caused what looked like an elevator to lower into the ground. With ghostly snickers, the four of them vanished. Well, this just got more interesting.

It was an odd sight indeed. A young trainer being accompanied by three Pokemon, none of them in their Monster Balls. The little Totodile stared up at Butterfree. "Wow... you look different from the Butterfree I've seen. Why are you a different colour?" Silver smiled to himself. It seemed the little Totodile didn't know about what humans referred to as "Shiny" Pokemon.

Three children were chatting amongst themselves, a fourth standing nearby on his lonesome. The talkative kids noticed Kaze and one of them called out. "Oh, Kaze!" he excitedly cheered. "Didja hear? They're selling a slingshot at the store right now! A slingshot!" The youngest boy, who looked no older than 6, mumbled out loud. "I wonder how powerful it is..." he murmured. "I... I need... I must try it..."
-
With a shrug, Link sheathed his sword. They're just acting on instinct. Probably hungry. Walking towards a door, he pulled it open and held it for his friend. Let's stay close.
-
As the two wandered through the forest, Silver kept looking around, trying to get a bearing on his surroundings. He did what he could to keep the both of them out of sight. It was easier said than done. A young boy, travelling with a Butterfree managed to spot the two of them, and cried out in surprise. "Wow! Two Totodile! I'll catch both of them!" The two Totodile in question froze, as two Quick Balls were sent towards them. With no chance to escape, Silver held onto the smaller Totodile and closed his eyes. I'm sorry, little guy... Sorry, Ethan... However, something he never expected happened. A strange field surrounded the two of them. Opening his eyes, he blinked as the field deflected the balls back to the young trainer, who blinked in his own confusion. "Huh? It didn't... OH! I see. You're somebody else's Pokemon, aren't you?" The little Totodile snapped his jaws, although Silver heard a sigh of relief from the smaller Pokemon. Suddenly, the trainer was up close, kneeling down and looking the two of them over. "What happened? Did you lose your trainer? Well, I'll help you find them if you want! I'm heading to Driftveil City. It's really big, so somebody may know something about you both. Come with me! I'm sure Butterfree would like someone to talk to on the way." Silver glanced at the smaller Totodile, who thought for a moment, before nodding. Turning back to face the trainer, he nodded. "Toto-totodile!"
-
Suddenly, the sound of a young voice called up to Kaze's house. "Hey, wake up, Kaze! It's morning already!"
-
Already an expert on fighting the beasts, Link waited for the right moment, before lunging at its backside. The Wolfos howled in pain and exploded in a puff of smoke. Bad doggy.
-
The little Totodile listened intently to Silver's explanation, before nodding and snapping his jaws, something which made Silver smile inwardly. Just like Snappy. I wonder if that's a Totodile thing? "So!" the smaller one said, causing the larger to jolt in surprise. "We're gonna find him for you! It could be like that story about the princess and the Politoed! If he kisses you, maybe you'll turn back!" Chuckling, Silver stretched before heading off, the little Totodile scampering to his side.

Blushing, the green-eyed hedgehog held his mate close. "Yeah, we do indeed."
-
Flying down beside Nights, he smiled. "I just remembered what you told me."
-
The cobalt hedgehog glanced up at his childhood love interest. "Please... I've been wanting this since we were younger." His emerald eyes met ruby, his face pink with shyness. "Can you... make love to me?"
-
With a smirk, he pulled the other hedgehog into the kitchen and began raiding the pantry. "Hmmm..." he thought aloud. "What to make? What to make?"
-
Entering the temple, Link shivered. The trees were so tall and full of leaves, which made for low illumination. Sunlight was barely able to make it through, and it was cold and damp. Looking around, he prepared his sword and shield, just in time as two Wolfos appeared, and attacked.
-
The taller male laughed, reaching a hand to gently caress the smaller's cheek. "Yeah... but it's tiring."
-
Sensing the familiar energy of Nights, Sonic glanced down, spotting him nearby. Waving, he called out. "I did it!"
-
With another grin, Manic pulled Light into his room, closing and locking the door behind him. Meanwhile, Sonic was trembling in pleasure from his experience with Shadow. "Sh-shadow..."
-
Silver's face was beet-red with embarrassment. Lowering to the ground, he chuckled, before nudging his new boyfriend. "C'mon..." he said, grabbing Light's hand. "Let's mess up the kitchen."
-
Several hours later, Silver felt himself being nudged gently. Giving a soft grumble, he tiredly swatted. "Ethan..." he mumbled. "Just a few more minutes..." Another nudge was given, and suddenly as his eyes opened, his vision was filled with a small Totodile, looking at him in confusion. "You keep talking about Ethan. You never told me about him. Was he... a trainer... who abandoned you?" Now fully awake, Silver stood and shook his head. "NO!" The smaller Totodile shrunk back and whimpered, and Silver instantly felt bad for scaring him. Reaching a paw forward, he gently placed it on the chibi's head. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. However, Ethan was not a trainer who abandoned me. He and I were... well, you could say we were once rivals, but then, we became so much more. He's... Ethan is my mate."
-
The kiss was broken moments later as the telltale sound of a rumbling stomach was heard. Sheepishly, Silver glanced away. "Oh yeah... we should probably have some food... before we forget entirely. I forgot that I was hungry, myself."

Modern finally ended with the adventures in which he and Tails had gone to save aliens from Eggman's Interstellar Amusement Park. "...and after all that, my friends wanted to surprise me for my birthday, and well... you know the rest."
