The smaller Totodile fell asleep quickly, but Silver remained awake. Heading outside, he sat down, staring up at the stars. Ethan... With a whimper, he took a breath, before starting to sing a song that would calm him. "Somewhere out there Beneath the pale moonlight Someone's thinking of me And loving me tonight..."

It was getting late and both Totodiles were getting tired. Spotting a cave nearby, the smaller Totodile took Silver towards it. "We'll stay here!" it said, in a bubbly voice. "Until the morning. Then we continue!" Silver nodded, walking inside the cave. With a sigh, he knew it would be hard for him to get to sleep.

Sonic found himself giving a sheepish chuckle. "Well... I think you remember Shadow's housewarming party. He was a stick-in-the-mud, but he came around and agreed. Well, I kinda drank a bit too much, and well... I left some behind." Casting a shy glance over at Tails, the blue hedgehog suddenly smiled. "Actually, I'm glad I left it now. He got some good use out of it."

Giving a soft sigh, Shadow lowered his gun. "No..." he said. "I should apologise. Those emeralds have caused pain to Sheko... and they've done this to me..." Sonic only just noticed the blood that was coming from the black hedgehog's eye. Before he could speak, Shadow continued. "Go see the doctor..." the ultimate lifeform muttered. "He knows more about these emeralds than I do. Now... get going, before I start shooting again. Who knows? I may hit your leg. There goes your speed." Turning around and walking back inside, the black hedgehog glanced over his shoulder. "Oh, and Sonic..." he said, seeming to purr. "Thank you for the KY." With that said, he closed the door, leaving Sonic standing there, face red.

"I know... but this is important, and we need to get them sorted out now. I'm sure Shadow won't mind if..." The door was suddenly flung open, Shadow's eyes narrowed with rage, despite the blood that was dripping from one. "Faker..." he hissed. "What the hell are you doing here? I'm sure by now you know of my boyfriend... and how he was once a Chao... yet you bring misaligned emeralds to me? What kind of fool are you?!" Suddenly, he noticed Tails nearby, giving a slight smirk at the sheepish blush on his face. He was about to say something when Sonic spoke up. "But Shadow, we've never seen this before. It's important, and..." BLAM BLAM! Enraged, the ultimate lifeform fired two shots at the ground next to Sonic. His eyes narrowed even more, and they had a visible 'Fuck with me, and I'll kill you' look to them. The blue hedgehog put his hands up defensively. "Okay... I guess I have nobody else to ask but... Eggman..."

Picking up a pistol, the black hedgehog loaded it, before smiling down at Sheko. "Please, Sheko..." he said softly. "Stay there... and promise me... you won't ever touch these. They're dangerous." Leaning down to press a kiss to the other male's lips, he pulled away, before turning around, giving a hiss of pain, his lips now contorted into a snarl. Damn you, faker! ----- Said 'faker' began slowing down, finally arriving at Shadow's. That's when he felt a tug on his arm.

Shadow gasped at what he saw, but gave a relieved smile, chuckling when he heard Sheko's question. "No..." he said, gritting his teeth to push away his increasing pain. "You're not bleeding at all. Your eye has changed colour. Mine on the other hand... Argh... he's getting closer..."

The time arrived and the SS Serenity set sail, speeding off towards the distant Unova region. ----- Silver gave a soft sigh. "This place is so confusing..." he muttered. "I haven't seen any other Pokemon like us." The smaller Totodile glanced at the larger, giving a nod. "That's because..." he replied. "...this place has different Pokemon... you won't find many like us around."

Gallade was indeed correct about the speed. The three had arrived so fast, it was as if they weren't even in the professor's lab. With a nod, the Pokemon vanished again. "Oh..." a voice called out. "Are you perhaps here for the ship to Unova? Well, you're just in time. Is that your ticket?"

Link was lucky, as the Goron's weight caused the platform to break from its chains, dropping to the lava below, where it floated on the surface. The massive Goron began to come towards him. Look at the size of him! He seems a bit bigger now!

"I will not hurt you. I shall take you to your destination, at a speed which you cannot comprehend. Close your eyes." Professor Elm stepped towards Ethan, handing him the necessary ticket. "Here..." he said. "And close your eyes. This will feel strange."

Link gave a nod, leaning over to kiss his beloved. "Diggs..." he said, his voice showing a slight fear. "Wish me luck."

"Damn it..." the hedgehog hissed. "I can only guess it's the faker bringing them here... they're coming too fast for it to be anyone else." Shadow suddenly heard Sheko's groans, and brought him up in his arms. "Sheko?" he murmured, suddenly noticing the former chao was holding a hand over his eye. "Show me... what's happened?"

Sonic lifted Tails into his arms, before racing off to see Shadow. ----- Back at said hedgehog's house, the ultimate lifeform's eyes shot open. A strange pain came through him, focusing mainly around his left eye. Reaching up to it, he gasped as he felt a wetness coming from it. Pulling his hand away, he choked back a gasp at what he saw. "Blood..." he choked out. "It's happening again..."

Sonic took a hold of the Chaos Emerald, giving a strange look at the three misaligned emeralds. "Nice work, bro!" he exclaimed. "Maybe I should take these to Shadow. He was made using Chaos Energy. He may be able to help. Bro... could you head over to the Chaotix Agency? We should get whoever we can to help." Glancing over at Tails, the blue hedgehog smiled.

Sonic blinked, letting go of Tails to stand up and walk forward. "A misaligned emerald..." he breathed. "Where did you find that?"

Sonic had just finished telling Tails about the misaligned emeralds when Manic arrived. Upon seeing his brother, he couldn't help but jealously hug Tails close to him. "Hey bro..." he said softly. "What brings you here?"

The former prince gave a slight smile, pressing against his beloved. ----- Meanwhile, miles away, Kaito had finally returned to Aoi, although his condition looked much less than princely. As he arrived, his castle doors suddenly swung open, and he found himself face to face with his best friend, Meiko Sakine.

Professor Elm glanced over at his clock, before grimacing. "It's already 6:40pm..." he murmured. "Even with a Dragonite, you wouldn't make it in time. However... I can be of assistance, with the help of Gallade." With a smile, the professor took a Monster Ball from his shelves, before opening the capsule. A mysterious Pokemon emerged, glancing up at Professor Elm. "Ah, Gallade..." the professor said, smiling at the Pokemon. "I need to ask a favour of you. You remember Olivine City, don't you?" The Pokemon nodded, before glancing over at Ethan and Cynder. "Well..." Elm continued. "I need you to take these two there now. It is urgent." Gallade nodded, before moving closer to the raven-haired teen and his Typhlosion.

Link warily moved away from the gigantic beast, keeping his sword drawn. Suddenly, it opened its mouth wide, a searing heat forming in its mouth. It's going to scorch us!

Knuckles wasn't even thinking about the Master Emerald. A strange voice seemed to sound in his head. Into the ruins... it is the only way to understand... Turning to face Manic, the echidna gave a smile, before nodding. "It's fine..." he said. "Only the bat girl wanted the Master Emerald... but she's kinda busy now with an honest job. I'll be fine in the ruins. Trust me." With another smile, Knuckles leaned over and kissed the green hedgehog, before turning and heading into the temple.
