Dagger folded her arms, looking down at the two boys. Vivi blushed heavily. "Yeah..." After hearing the question get repeated again, Vivi glanced over, trying to think of a prize he would actually want... aside from a certain tailed male. "Um... I'll take a Card." After seeming a little withdrawn about Vivi's choice of a prize, they were given their starting points. Zidane was to start in the Theatre District, Freya in the Industrial, and Vivi in the Business. Vivi was following beside them, as he looked up at Zidane. "Zidane... I don't want a date with the princes... I-I want a... d-date with... you..."

Vivi blushed heavily. "M-Me and the Princess---?!" He got no further than that when Zidane clamped his hands over his mouth.

Vivi bit his lip when Zidane told him that he had signed him up for the Festival. Was that why he bought the Ice Staff for him? "Zidane... I... I don't think I can..." "That was very inconsiderate of you, Zidane." Freya folded her arms, glancing off, though secretly plotting how this would help her get those two together.

Vivi looked a little startled as the guard had turned to him and ask when he wanted for a prize. Freya had her eyes narrowed in Zidane's direction. "What?! Me? B.. But I never signed up..."

Vivi looked a little confused. "Is it?" He watched as Zidane headed on ahead. "Zidane, wait for me!" He called, hurrying after them. ---- Freya was waiting in the guest room of the castle. Once Zidane arrived, they would be briefed about rhe rules, and then the Hunt would begin. Dagger was listening as Steiner said they should go watch the festival as she sighed. She wasn't excited about going, but she wasn't disappointed. She used to watch the Festival all the time with her dad and Uncle Cid.

Vivi nodded, and followed beside him. "Where do I go while the tournament is going on?"

Vivi's eyes seemed to sparkle a bit. "Wow... that is a beautiful sword..."

"So you kill things for sport? I usually have a hard enough time killing things while in the middle of a fight..." Vivi looked up at him, resting his arms on the counter, watching as they were melting the two weapons together in order to make something better.

Vivi nodded, as he followed beside him, having his new staff against his hip. "What is the Festival of the Hunt about anyway? I heard people talking about it before while I was exploring the city."

Vivi looked at the Ice Staff as it was set in his hands, as he looked over at Zidane, finding out that he had paid for it just for him. He smiled, as Zidane was getting the weapons he would need to make a Butterfly Sword at the Synth shop. "Thank you, Zidane..." He replied, having a blush hidding under his hat, as well as a smile.

It was near afternoon the following day, the Festival was going to begin in a few hours. Vivi was walking with Zidane from the Inn towards the shops to make sure he was equipped. Vivi was looking inside the cases that held some of the weapons, his eyes seeming to gleam as he was looking at a staff that looked like it was made of ice. It looked almost like the Lightning Staff he had seen while looking at the weapon shops from where he grew up. But back then, he couldn't afford anything... barely had enough to feed himself and his grandpa.

"How does that have anything to do with me?" She found Zidane had nearly lost his balance before straightening himself up, and begging her a bit. She sighed... Steiner wasn't going to like this, but he wasn't giving her much choice. "Fine."

Vivi showed the rings to the girl at the counter as she smiled. "Oh, are these for your girlfriend?" Vivi blushed heavily, "G-Girlfriend?!" "No need to be shy. You probably haven't even told her you like her yet. Hoping this will help you in asking?" Vivi glanced down, not bothering to correct her that it wasn't for a girl. "...Yeah." The woman smiled, such a cute thing, made her wonder what kind of person could capture his heart. "For you, I'll give you a special price. Just give me 50 gil, and they're yours." "R-Really? But it was so much..." "Not very many people get married in this city, these are a pair of wedding bands, but you seem rather fond of them, and they'll just sit on the shelf collecting dust otherwise. How about it, sweetie?" Vivi had a little smile, as he offered her his share of the money that had been split between him, Zidane and Steiner while they were traveling through the fields and caves together. "Here you are then. I hope she says yes." Vivi held the small bag that had the rings in them, as he headed out of the store, his cheeks a dark red... he hoped Zidane would say yes... if he got himself to say it.

Dagger had finally noticed he was there, as she looked over, before the birds took off into the sky to fly through it once more. "How did you get up here? This is a restricted area." She rolled her eyes as she heard him say he did this for a living. "...oh yeah. You're a member of Tantalus. It must've been easy for you."

Having made it back to the Business District, Vivi decided to go shopping... maybe if he got something nice for Zidane, it would help him figure out a way to tell him how he felt. After finding a kupo nut for the first time, he had noticed a pair of rings. One of the gems inside of the rings was blue while the other was golden. He scooped them into his hand, and looked them over... they seemed rather special, since they were about 200 gil.

Finally having figured out how to use the cars by himself, he got on in order to take him back to the Business District. There had been someone people talking about some kind of festival, which rather interested him. A festival? I don't think I've ever seen or been to one... I wonder if it's fun...

Vivi glanced down, before shaking his head. "No, that's alright. I'll look around a bit more... this is my first time here after all."

Vivi stood there, curling his fingers together. "Are you going to find a way up there?"

Vivi blinked a little. "Do you hear that? It sounds really pretty."

Vivi tilted his head a bit. "Everything with her mom must be getting to her. I hope she's okay."

"Oh... I guess so..." Vivi felt a little bad having asked that, as they entered the room where Dagger had been staying only to find that Steiner was throwing a fit. "Steiner? What's wrong?" Vivi spoke up, getting him to look over in their direction.

While on the cart to get back to the castle, Vivi seemed to have an interesting question for Zidane while they were heading to visit Dagger. "What's a 'fool', Zidane?"

"Red's in trouble... that's terrible... I... I should help... find him..." Blue struggled to get up, but burn marks and cuts were visible, even if the blue light from before had healed the worst of it.

First time I've met anyone who was this serious about Zidane... don't worry little one, I'll make sure Zidane finds out you like him... Freya folded her arms, as he watched the previous sad expression lighten up, as the small gloved hand squeezed against Zidane's. "Okay... let's go."

"So, Zidane is the one who made you cry... I should give him a beating in your name." Freya pressed her fist against her palm. Vivi looked confused as she said that... she obviously seemed to know Zidane, but... she was really going to do that? "No, you don't have to do that, he didn't do anything..." "What? But you just said Zidane is the reason making you cry." Vivi curled his fingers together. "B... But he doesn't know about this... I know he really likes the princess... a... and I'm just a kid... it's my fault..." "...You're seriously in love with that fool, aren't you?" Freya almost felt herself smirking. Vivi blushed, "W-Well... I... um... what's a fool?" Freya laughed, before she picked herself up, before looking below, seeing the blonde running around the Theatre District's plaza looking for the mage. She suddenly picked up the little guy, and jumped off the roof they were sitting on, and landed on the ground. "Yipe!" Came the little noise escaping the black mage. "Zidane, are you looking for him, perhaps?" Freya called over, before setting the small mage on the ground.
