  1. There seemed to be a woman sitting at the bar, the tail, the feet, and the face showing that she had Burmecian blood, as she took a small drink from the cup she was holding. "Hey, monkey-tail, you're disturbing the other customers."
  2. Vivi glanced down, curling his fingers together. "N-No, it's okay... you go ahead, I'll catch up later." Dagger looked over as Zidane waved and headed off... without even saying goodbye to her.
  3. Vivi looked a little disappointed. "Y... You're not gonna eat with us...?"
  4. Vivi blushed heavily at the comment, soon hearing Dagger's little giggle, and a chuckle from Steiner as well. "Y...Yeah..."
  5. "That's not possible." "Do you know who he is?" Vivi asked, seeming a little surprised that Cid sounded so sure. "Of course. I may be a bug <gwok>, but I am still the ruler of Lindblum." "Uncle Cid, I appreciate you seeing me on such short notice. I desperately need to speak to you about my mother." Cid gave a small nod, thought seeming rather troubled about the subject. "That's what I figured. But I'm sure it can wait ‘til tomorrow. Why don't you all get some rest for today?" "Thank you." "It is time for lunch. Please follow me." Artania bowed and led the way for them to get something to eat after their long journey. A small growl coming from Vivi's stomach left him unable to resist following after him, along with the others
  6. "Wow... Even the oglops are big in Lindblum." Vivi had followed beside Zidane after the older had rushed off like he did. Dagger was busy staring at the ooglop as Steiner was yelling about this insult and getting the actual regent in the room. "Please, settle down! You ARE before the regent!" Artania called to Steiner, holding him back. Dagger was staring at the ooglop, seeing a familiar moustache on his face. "Steiner, stand down... I recognize that moustache... is that you, Uncle Cid?" "Yes. Greetings, all <gwok>. I am Cid Fabool, Regent of Lindblum. I knew it was you - I recognized your pendant's description; it's so much like my 'Falcon Claw.' I'm delighted to see you again, Garnet. You have truly <gwok> become a fine lady. I, on the other hand..." "Allow me to explain." Artania spoke up to get their attention and shock away from Cid for a moment, "About six months ago, someone snuck into the castle and attacked the regent in his sleep. Unfortunately, we were too late...The regent had been transformed into an oglop, and his wife, Lady Hilda, was abducted." "My goodness..." Dagger gasped. Vivi was still watching in awe... first a scary blue skinned queen and now a bug for a ruler... is there anything he hadn't found odd about the main kingdoms of the world?
  7. Vivi felt his cheeks burn up a little, as he hesitantly let go of Zidane's hand, only to be greeted with someone yelling 'OOGLOP!' really loudly. The said ooglop had been thrown into the throne halfway across the room, a little 'What?' escaping it as Artania cried out his name from getting punched by Steiner.
  8. "What?" Vivi blushed a little bit as he heard the question suddenly brought up. "Yeah... you came to save me... and since then, I feel less sad... less hesitant about using the powers I've got."
  9. "Sire, Princess Garnet of Alexandria wishes to see you." Said the man as he entered the throne room, and then allowed the group into the room as well. Dagger was the first into the throne room, as she gave a respectful bow to the man she once remembered when she was younger, but as she looked up, she found that she couldn't see anyone on the throne and it confused here.
  10. Artania led them onto the lift that would take them to the upper floor where they would see the regent. There was a lecture of what each floor held, like the Middle was connected to the cars that allowed travel through the city, the Industrial, Bussiness and Theatre Disctrics. The Base Floor which held the Dragon and the Serpent's Gates for either boat(which isn't used much cause of airships) and travel on foot. And the Upper Level where the Regent resides. Vivi was looking down from the sides of the lift, for someone who was afraid of heights, he seemed to stare down at the ground from high up a lot.
  11. "What is going on?" Dagger looked over as a older looking man came into the room, and talked to the guards, as he seemed a bit shocked as the pendent was brought into the conversation, as she smiled gently at the softer expression that was visible in his eyes. "You are dismissed. I'll take care of this." Once the guards had ran off, she was the first one to race over to him, obviously seeming to recognize him as she called out his name. "Uncle Artania!" "It's good to see you, Princess. Please follow me. The regent is waiting." Dagger looked a little confused, but began to follow beside him anyway. Vivi followed beside Zidane and Steiner, looking around at everything in the meantime, finding the place amazing.
  12. "Very well." The young princess made her way over, and cupped the pendent she wore around her neck in her hand and showed it to the guard, who seemed to examine it closely. Vivi looked over at Steiner, seeing how angry he was to see the princess was treated like that.
  13. Dagger walked over to them calmly, and laid a hand against her chest, giving a small and polite bow to them. Greetings. I am Princess Garnet Til Alexandros. I humbly request an audience with Regent Cid."
  14. "Yes, I came here a few times when I was little... I haven't been here since my father passed away." Vivi looked over as he found a few of the kingdom's guards were heading in their direction, as he hid himself behind Zidane.
  15. "Wow... this place is huge... even bigger than the Alexandria Castle..." Vivi looked around, still squeezing the other's hand.
  16. Vivi squeezed his hand, as they looked over at the city from above, his eyes seeming to go shiney... It was beautiful... the sun shining so brightly on the city, giving it a heavenly glow. It was the opposite of the city of eternal night, Treno, where he grew up near. He looked over at Zidane, a little blush hiding under his hat. He could see why Zidane was raised in Lindblum... he seemed to shine just as brightly as the city.
  17. "Um... r-right...." Vivi gave a small nod... He was different... he didn't want to hurt people like the mages that they had seen. He suddenly saw Zidane run to the deck, calling for him to come with him. "H-Huh? Why?"
  18. "...I really don't know..." Vivi looked down, seeming rather ashamed. He wasn't supposed to be so worried about this...
  19. "It's okay, Zidane." Dagger smiled, as they seemed pleased that Lindblum was right ahead of them. Vivi was seeming to space out a little, feeling if he kept his thoughts in any longer, he was going to cry. "Z...Zidane... um... those black mages and I... well... are we the same?"
  20. "Steiner." Dagger managed to get the knight's attention, making him shut up. "I didn't mean to get you involved... But you saved us. I thank you."
  21. "South Gate was badly damanged.... it was my fault, wasn't it?" Dagger seemed a little worried. Vivi was leaning against the doorway, seeming a little worn out.
  22. Vivi slowly opened his eyes, as he looked up at the other male. "T...Thank you..."
  23. Vivi felt a blast of air had caught the two of them, as he clung to Zidane as tightly as he could, as his arms were tight against him, as Zidane had a grip against the railing.
  24. Vivi managed to duck a bit, only to find that the hat he had been watching this whole time had gone flying through the air and into the abyss below, causing him to reach out for it rather desperately, but he wasn't going to be able to catch it from where he was. He finally turned his attention back to the ship that had began to hover menacingly in front of them, as he narrowed his eyes, in both determination and exhaustion. A lightning attack was being aimed at them once more, as Vivi summoned a fire spell, which cancelled out the two spells, and caused Black Waltz No. 3 to lose his grip on the steering wheel and fell back some. Feeling rather drained, both from the two fights against the Black Waltz and from that spell, he ended up falling over, shuddering a bit.
  25. "Roger!" She replied in earnest. It was the first time she had ever flown an airship, and she was not doing a bad job at it. Vivi heard Steiner freak out about something, as he was heading for the captain's room.
