Small little noises seemed to catch Vivi's interests as he walked around the small village... there wasn't much to see, but it was so calming and nice there. He found some of the children of the village stopped at the sight of him though, obviously looking scared, for lack of a better word. A snot nosed little boy took a good look at him, before running away screaming. He was so confused... he hadn't seen anyone try to avoid him before... In a way, it kind of hurt. He took a step towards them, only to find them back away as he did... Inching away, he went over towards the stone wall, and leaned against it, the interesting noises sounding like 'kweh' catching his attention... they sounded far away though.

--- Vivi had woken up before Zidane, as he picked himself out of the bed, and reclaimed his hat, setting it over his head so his eyes were glowing and his face was shadowed. He looked around... that's strange... where did Steiner get to? He climbed out of bed, slipping his gloves and shoes back on. He looked over at Zidane, smiling at how handsome he looked when he was asleep. He claimed a quick bite to eat, and headed out of the inn to watch the windmill.
-
Something warm seemed to snuggle up against him in his half asleep state, seeming to comfort him in a way. The small mage shuffled a bit in his sleep so he could get a bit more comfortable, though the movement caused his flop sided hat to fall off his head and onto the ground where his shoes and gloves were, his small head buried against Zidane's chest.

Dusk stood on the top, awaiting Umbra's return... he could teleport himself to the Lake Bed Temple, but unfortunatly, he still could not breathe underwater for very long. Kick its ass, Umbra...

Vivi was too tired to notice much as they headed into the inn room after Dagger had been informed that she had to stay in the same room as the rest of them. The young mage felt his mind feeling rather foggy... he hadn't gotten any rest since the other day... and it was already dark outside from travelling through the plains, finding the Ice Cavern, something knocking them all out for who knows how long, and then getting out and travelling more plains in order to reach Dali. He sleepily began to climb into bed while the other three were talking.
-
Vivi looked over at him, looking rather disappointed. "But I wanted to see the windmill...." After being reminded that everyone was tired, he finally remembered his own exhaustion, and decided it could wait until tomorrow, as he followed the others into the inn.
-
Vivi finally let go of his hand, as they had come into the village, as he seemed to squeal in excitement. "Look! I see a windmill!"
-
Dagger had a little smile visible as Vivi was clutching onto Zidane's hand. She didn't really know why but the two of them seemed to... click.
-
"A-Alrighty..." Vivi headed down the mountain path with the others, as he slowly reached out, holding the blonde's hand.
-
"I shall try." She nodded. Vivi tilted his head a little, as Zidane looked over him, while was trying to help Dagger with her speech.
-
"Oh, okay... I understand now. So this is called a ‘dagger'..." Ignoring Steiner's whine about her holding a weapon, she finally seemed to come up with an idea. "I've decided! From now on, I will be called Dagger. What do you think, Zidane?" Vivi stared with a baffled look on his face... what kind of name was that?
-
Vivi came back out of his thoughts as he heard Steiner and Zidane were arguing once again, as he whimpered a little bit. "You guys...!" Stop it, you two! ...Steiner, I do not intend to return to the castle. And I do see Zidane's point...I need a new name..." Garnet seemed to muse on the thought of having a new name to go by, before he gestured to the dagger she had picked up that Zidane dropped when Steiner pushed him. "Zidane... What is this called?"
-
"It sounds like you've been everywhere, Zidane." Garnet seemed to tease, before musing a little. "The only other places I've seen are in books." Garnet muttered about going to visit the village, and began to head down the mountain path that would take them down before Zidane called for her to wait. Vivi was lost in his thoughts while the conversation was going on, as he looked down at the village below... when he had gone by in the airship a friend of his got him on without having to pay, he had seen one of the Dali cargo ships go pass him... it made him a little anxious when it went by cause he swore, the eyes coming from the control room was staring right at him.
-
Vivi decided it would be better not to say anything about the burns on his clothes otherwise Garnet was going to get involved. The four of them soon headed pass the waterfall and towards the cave exit above, as they found the warmth of the sun had returned. "We made it through the Mist! Oh, the sun feels great!" "Yay!" Vivi seemed glad to put that place behind them.
-
"Steiner, he said nothing happened! Why are you being so rude?" Garnet snapped at him, seeing him bow his head in shame. Vivi seemed a little concerned since the other's clothes looked a bit singed. "Is everything okay, Zidane?" He spoke up, seeing him jump at the sudden question from him.
-
With that declaration, Zidane lashed out, and cut through the Sealion's jewel it wore around its neck, as it cried out in pain, and soon fell to the ground, before shattering into chips of ice. "You defeated No.1, but No.2 and No.3 will reclaim the princess!"
-
Dusk easily managed to push the door open, not finding it hard at all to breathe underwater, as he looked around, seeing the tendrils sticking out of the sand. "I can see the monster is hiding inside there... that means we take the Shadow from it, and get out of here... I never really liked anything related to water."
-
Zidane had gotten a rather hefty blow into the black mage, but as soon as he did, he was knocked backwards by the Sealion's wing. "S...Sealion... kill him... for me..." The last words of the Black Waltz as it fell to the ground, seeming to be disappearing.
-
The Black Waltz lifted his bell, seeming to cast another spell. "Fire!" Within seconds, a blaze of fire was sent into Zidane's path.
-
"Hee-hee-hee... that's right..." He laughed menacingly, as he lifted his bell, giving it a little ring, before a pillar of ice appeared, before it changed into that of a beast summon. "Get him, Sealion!"
-
"Hey, why are you still awake!" A voice called from on top of the waterfall that apparently had been frozen over, as Zidane looked up, finding a black mage standing there, holding a small bell in his hand, blue wings visible on its back. "You should be dead by now!"
-
"I'm... c-c-coming..." He managed to stutter, already way behind the rest of the group, his body feeling like it was being turned to ice. Little did he know, he was walking in the direction that led towards a small patch of ground below, before he felt his senses fade out on him, barely hearing someone call out his name, as he fell from the edge, and blacked out before hitting the cold snowy ground below.
-
"It's okay, don't worry about it." Vivi replied, giving a little smile... no one could see it, but it was felt in his tone. "Let's go inside now. I'm excited to see the Ice Cavern outside of a library book page." Garnet smiled, as she headed inside first.
-
Vivi gently threaded his fingers together, glancing down. "My grandpa used to teach me a lot of things... until he passed away..." Garnet laid a hand over her mouth, shocked to hear he lost someone dear to him at such a young age.

The frog witch seemed pleased as her pet had snatched the needle away and tossed it over to her. His victory for her was cut short as Black*Star was soon beating the crap out of it, as tears were visible in her eyes. "Tadpole Jackson... you were a good pet... I won't forget you!" With that, she turned around, and ran over towards the bag that held the Kishin inside and pushed the needle as deep as she could manage, trying to get it to go in. "Hurry up, Eruka!" Free shouted at her, still taking gunshots from Maka's pistols at the moment.
