Soul was snickering a bit, knowing that Maka's dislike for him probably just rose 10 degrees. "I should've guessed. It is a relief to see you though. I wasn't sure how much I'd be able to do without my weapon around." He watched as Spirit turned away, facing the darkness of the tunnel ahead. "What have we got? Are they up ahead?"
-
"How did you manage to escape from the trap they set up there?" Stein asked, having another ciggy in his mouth... oral fixation much? Soul sweatdropped as Maka was busy punching Black*Star in the face for getting close.
-
Stein looked over at Maka, finally tossing his half burned cigarette away. "Yeah..." He could sense someone coming towards him... and from the Soul wavelength, it obviously wasn't an enemy... at least not to him.

---- Things had seemed rather quiet for the last week. Jose had finally been released, and Guys had finally been set free, thanks to Lusca. Plus he had heard that Guildias had killed himself after it was exposed that not only did he kill the man Guys had been accused of murdering, he had kidnapped and strangled a boy named Myuca. A trial was being held recently, charges being pressed against Bollanet, the head of this prison... There wasn't as much abuse going on lately... hopefully if things go well, they would get out of this horrible place as well... Evan sighed gently, trying to clear his head as he was in the shower room, cleaning himself off.
-
Diggs seemed to lick his lips gently, as he carefully pushed Link down at the ground. He trailed his tongue against the other's chest, his hands slipping down, giving a squeeze against his ass.
-
Manic's blue eyes were widened as the other's fist went flying past his head, trying to calm his shudders of fright, despite the feeling of blood dripping down the side of his head, the other's eyes close now as he noticed the other's violet eyes were dancing with black speckles. "K...Knuckles...?"
-
A small blink seemed to come from the pink haired male, as he pointed to himself in an almost clueless way. "Yeah, that's me. Who are you?"
-
"Yeah, right, screw that." Soul hissed, having his hands resting in his pockets. "Your analogy isn't even persuasive. I mean look at that needle, it's jumping around all over the place!"
-
"If he wanted to go somewhere he'd have to find a way to give the city legs and I don't really see that happening anytime soon, do you?" "Uh-uh!" A little Shinigami sign came up at that suggestion. "You can't even imagine how disastrous it would be if the Kishin was revived. It's madness is like a plague..." ---- Soul found himself inside of his head once more, standing out of the chair this time, and facing the little demon that would always appear in his dreams... dammit... why couldn't it have just been a dream...?
-
"That wouldn't work." Stein finally spoke up, as the group looked over, listening to him. "Shinigami-sama has attatched his soul to this town. I guess you could even say he's become one with Death City."
-
Yuri was left standing there for a moment, seeing everyone giving their nods of assurance, before she nodded as well. "Okay! I won't let you down!" With that, they went their seperate ways. Yuri headed back into Death City, and they headed underground to where the Kishin was sealed away.
-
Yuri was beginning to follow beside them as well, but Soul turned around, and held her shoulder. "No, Yuri, we need you to stay here." "W-What?! But I want to help too!" "If you really want to help us," Stein replied, as he brought his ciggy away from his lips, "Then you should go back into the city, and get rid of t he 5 witches that are attacking right now." "B...But..."
-
---- Yuri was panting softly as they were standing in front of the entrance that would take them to the shrine of the Kishin hidden under the city. She had managed to find everyone's lockers (Soul and Kid had left a change of clothes back in Tsubaki's locker cause she had room) and brought their clothes that would be more suited for them to fight in. Soul was slipping his headband on, as well as his jacket with his little angry face logo on it. Tsubaki was already changed into her outfit, fixing her hair so it was back in a ponytail. Patty and Liz slipped their hats against their heads, hiding their devilish grins that once scared anyone in the streets of Brooklyn. Stein was lighting a cigarette, the smoke drifting through the air. "This is the entrance we need. Our enemy is powerful. If you aren't prepared for what lies ahead, you will die. If you wanna turn around, better do it now. Are you ready to fight against fear itself? Will you cross beyond that door, let your souls make the decision for you?"
-
Yuri seemed to remember something. "You guys go ahead, I'll be right back." With that, she took off, almost quicker that Kid when he was on his Beezlebub. Tsubaki blinked, "I wonder where she's going..."
-
Soul had his red eyes staring straight at Kid's direction, as they seemed a little cross... Kid told him that his father didn't tell him what happened... it made him a little upset that Kid lied to him. "Let's get moving. We can't let Sid's quick thinking go to waste. All of you follow me, I'll take us to the entrance that leads underground." Stein motioned for them to follow and headed through the hall to their destination.
-
"Listen up, Kids." Stein spoke up, quickly getting the young teen's attention. "We've got an emergency on our hands. Below Shibusen right now, sleeps the Kishin, the source of all madness in the world. You should know our school nurse, Medusa, is a witch. She snuck into the academy to revive the kishin. We must stop this at all costs." "Doctor Medusa is a witch? Are you serious?" Yuri seemed nervous to hear this... this was just like before. "And this kishin... how is something like that beneath the school?" Soul bit his lip.
-
"In that case, let's get out before Death shows up." Eruka replied grumpily. At the question of where Chrona was, he soon appeared in his black dragon form, having five little mice like witches, wearing black-white striped outfits that covered all but their little faces. "I brought them like you said. The Mizune family." "Chi chi chi chi chi~" "Mizunes!" Eruka was waving excitedly to them, but as soon as they flew by, her expression was worried. The only reason they agreed to come was because I lied and told them Shibusen killed the eldest Mizune sister... I didn't have much of a choice, but I'm so sorry, Mizunes... Flying into the city of Death, they began to attack, destroying buildings, including parts of the academy, and even into the town itself. ---- Yuri let out a cry, as they all fell to the ground, she looked around, finding her, the Thompson sisters, and Tsubaki had fallen over. Soul would have, but Kid and him had been clinging to each other, so he was barely on his feet. The meisters on the other hand, had managed to land on their feet. "Hmm, the meisters landed on their feet, and the weapons didnt... seems we really are different..." Soul mumbled, knowing he would be on the ground if Kid wasn't holding him.
-
"Here we go! FORCE BURIAL!" 8 coffin like stones appeared on the ground and opened up, Soul clinging onto his meister as they were falling inside. "Coffins?!" Yuri exclaimed, not very comfortable with the idea. "No, Sid!" Stein called after the zombie, who replied it was up to them to protect Shibusen, as the selected few fell downwards through the quickly closing opening above.
-
"Ribbit. Ribbit." Eruka replied... hey, she is a frog, let her do her thing. "Computation Spell. Magic Calculation!" The spell seeming to be setting up the outline of where the cube would be placed began to wrap around the area where the party was taking place, causing the room around all of them to shake. "What the hell is going on out there?" Soul was holding Kid, who nearly fell over from all the shaking the spells were causing. "This is gonna be close..." Sid mumbled to himself. Yuri glanced over, his gray eyes seeming confused... why was this happening now?
-
Yuri seemed to shiver, sensing the witches and the magic she was ultra sensitive to. "Space distortion...? They're trapping us in here...?" "It's starting now..." Sid didn't sound pleased, as he looked at his weapon, "Naigus, we need Soul Resonance. Ready?" *Yeah!* He drew his knife, as a glow began to surround it. "We have to get these guys out of here."
-
Yuri scurried over, really worried about the zombie, since he was always looking after her. She wasn't used to him coming around, stained with blood. "Sid, what has happened?" Stein asked, his voice etched in concern. "We ran into an ambush... I dove under the ground right before the blast, but I barely got away..." He straightened up a little, not worried about himself. "What we need to do now is get everyone out of here! It's a trap, this is the day they've been waiting for! When Shinigami-sama leaves his mirror, and all the students and teachers are in one place!" Stein felt his eyes widened, as he looked over, seeing a familiar school nurse was running towards the balcony. "Medusa!!"
-
Soul suddenly heard loud yelling from inside the building, as he opened the door, and looked inside, seeing Sid had come to the doorway. "Everyone, run! We have to get out of here!"
-
"The kishin right next to us... that sounds kinda suspicious..." Soul seemed to muse on the subject, tightening his grip around his reaper love.
-
"I know... but I really need to know, Kid... it's making you sad..." He spoke carefully, bringing Kid into his arms once more, squeezing tightly.
-
Soul smiled, feeling victorious from that. He stopped teasing Kid for a moment, and gripped his smaller hand, leading over to the balcony, as Kid closed the glass doors after them so no one would follow.
