*Did we get him?* All seemed silent until a slash went through the lower part of the deck, not giving them much time to gather themselves, as a voice was screeched out. "Screech Gamma!" A blast of violet energy threw Kid back, causing him to lose his grip on Soul, who fell down the stairs, before chainging back into his human form. "I can't expect you to understand me... I shouldn't be surprised. Not even the little one could understand me." Little one...? "If the little one couldn't understand my feelings... then there's no way a reaper like you could comprehend them." He seemed to raise his sword, before he threw it towards the said boy. "KID!" After that, a noise of a slash, and the warmth of blood seemed to flooded the senses of hearing and touch for the black haired boy.
-
The black blood boy was thrown into the air, as Kid was using his scythe to slash at him rapidly, streaks of blood falling down his pale skin, as gasps of surprise and pain seemed to rain in the air as the reaper's slashes continued, his golden eyes narrowed dangerously.
-
"I'm scared.... of everyone..." The boy was muttering softly, barely enough that Kid managed to hear what he was saying. "I have to learn to deal with people better..." His hair seemed to shadow over his face. "But to do that, I need power." Soul's eyes seemed to narrow as the frail looking boy said those words. "Do you want to know where the real hell is hiding...?" He carefully lifted his finger, and lightly tapped himself on the side of his head. "It's inside your head..." He looked down at the young shinigami, his voice seeming calm, though he was trying to act serious. "Get in my way, I'll have to kill you, you know..."
-
The boy wobbled over to the railing of the deck, as he stared down at the reaper and his scythe, before he winced, seeming to be in pain, letting out a cry, as the black sword disappeared back into his body, before seeming to force itself out of the body it was inside. *Ugh, that's gross...* Soul couldn't help but say as it's body looked rather muscular, unlike the boy it was inhabiting, as a X appeared in the middle of its face, and little x'd eyes appeared as well, as it let out a loud cry once more, it's body seeming to change once again, as a pair of dragon like wings came out of its back. "Hey..." The boy finally spoke up, though his eyes were strange... they obviously showed fear and uncertainty. "My blood is black you know..." *I can't believe he ate all those souls... even that poor girl... bastard...* Soul's voice hissed, seeming to drip in anger.
-
*The souls are coming out from under the ship...* "I have to go now... goodbye freaky teeth guy..." Soul jumped a little, as he looked over, seeing the little ghost who had helped him find the deck of the ship had turned back into her soul form. The boy lifted his sword known as Ragnarok up into the air, as it began to suck up all the souls hungrily, nearly knocking him over as he did. *No!* Soul gasped in shock as the girl's soul was absorbed along with the rest, his eyes widened at the sight of so many humans souls sucked up almost like a drink on a hot and dry day.

Before the not so epic fight scene could start between Death the Kid and The Flying(Floating) Dutchman, a sword was flung through the air, easily piercing the sail as well as through through the upper half of the Kishin's head, leaving it impaled onto the wooden floor. *What the hell was that?* Soul was stuck watching in his weapon form, as a thin looking child walked over, and gripped the sword in his hand, and pulled it out of the kishin's body body, before slashing it once more, nearly looking like he was losing his balance... was the sword's weight really that much? He quickly sunk the sword into the floor. "Ragnarok..." Soul seemed to shudder a bit at the sight of a mouth appearing in the sword. "Scream Resonance."
-
"It's not my fault that the stupid Dutchman tossed me into the bottom of the ship, leave me alone!" Soul muttered stubbornly, though a little smile was visible on his lips. A sickly annoying laughter showed up, as the strange looking kishin appeared out of the floor once more. "You're not going to get away!" Soul walked over to Kid, as he gripped his hand. "Let's get this over with!" His body glowed a deep blue before his form changed, as his scythe form took over, as Kid gripped him in his hands.
-
"Running away won't do you any good~" The Kishin laughed as he slipped through the floor as if it was water. Soul slowly slipped onto the deck where the little girl had taken him. He glanced around, finding that there was no one in sight. "You sure you didn't bring me up here so you could eat me?" The ghost glanced over at him. "Will you stop asking me that question?! That's the fifth flipping time!" "Alright alright, no need to shout... geez. Temperamental girls are not cool at all..."
-
"Hahaha, it's nothing a child like you would understand. This ship and I have things to do, people to see. We're going places together, me and this ship. Out at sea, there are lots of people awaiting to hear the song of the Kishin. Most people are alike, they all crave power in one form or another. Some, no amount of earthly power will satisfy. They always hunger for more." The Kishin monster had one of the souls caught in his hand, as he ran his slimy tongue against it, causing Kid to flinch inwardly. "It's humans like these who are seeking the Kishin. And these souls that you see here are my own offering to it. They're not for you, boy!" He pointed his gun forward, as he took two shots at Kid, which ripped his cloak completely off. ---- "Agh... did I get lost.... Kid, where are you...?" Soul whimpered... was he even going the right way? "You're getting close, just keep going forward." "Hey, thanks, that's so nice of you... !! Wait, who said that?!" Soul turned around, though he didn't find anyone behind him, which was starting to make him panic a little bit. "O-Okay... that was freaky, I could have sworn there was a---" He turned his head, only to be face to face with a little ghost girl who looked no older than 10 years old. "AH!" Soul moved backwards, as he fell on his ass. "I'm a spirit of a girl who was eaten by this ship... don't worry I'm not going to hurt you... if you follow me, I can take you back to your friends, okay...?" "You're not gonna try and eat me or something then...?" "I have no reason to eat you, just trust me..." Soul shivered a little, before he surrendered to the idea of being led around by a ghost. "Alright, I'm right behind you." She smiled, and floated ahead of him, as he hurried off behind her. Kid, I'm coming! Please don't do anything stupid until I find you!
-
"Haha! That little weakling has nothing to do with this. No... I'm talking about the kishin that's right next to you... that's who I've gathered these souls for." ---- Soul was looking around the ship, not liking being around a place that was completely dark. "Ugh, I hope that Kid is okay... whenever he's alone, he's not as secure as when I'm there... I just hope nothing makes anything asymmetrical, or he won't be able to deal with it..."
-
"Meddlesome Shinigami-sama is making things more difficult for me than ever before. This is why I'm going to present these souls to the kishin. Heheh. I will certainly be rewarded for that."
-
Soul nodded, ready to transform into his scythe form. The pistol weilding raggedy man, did not think that was going to happen. "NIIDDHOG!!" Vibrations suddenly seemed to go through the ship, as the boards under Soul's feet seemed to disappear, as his eyes widened, things seeming to go in slow motion, as he saw the other's golden eyes widen at the sight of his partner falling, before time seemed to catch up, as a yelp escaped him, and he vanished further down into the ship as the floor boards closed back up, leaving Kid alone with the strange looking man, who was busy chuckling about it. "This ship is my body, and my body is the ship." His snickers were becoming unbearable. "All I have to do is digest the little punk."
-
Soul noticed as Kid lifted his hand, ready to safe guard them until he could get them to a safe place, as the cocking of a gun was heard, as Kid found it pointed at his face. "What's this? Are you a Grim Reaper?" Soul reached out before the Gun was fired, as it tore a bit at the older boy's cloak, since the scythe pulled him out of the way.
-
"They're human souls, eating them would be bad... can you help them somehow?" Soul looked at Kid, as the older male began to walk forward into the room.
-
Soul carefully opened the door, as he looked inside the area that seemed to be making his arm throb the most, as he gasped at what he saw. The entire room was filled with soft glowing blue souls... showing that they were the souls of humans who had theirs taken away by kishin. "There's a lot of them..."
-
Soul felt the place was a little spooky to him, but gently held his arm, since it was itching a little bit at the feeling of being around a place with human souls instead of kishin, as he followed beside Kid.
-
Soul went over, and snatched Kid into his arms, before jumping into the air, cradling him close, as he hit the deck hard with his feet, before carefully setting the Grim Reaper down... with the fog everywhere, it just seemed to make the ship feel a lot more spooky. "Do you sense the souls around here, Kid?"
-
Soul glanced around, before a strange roar seemed to grab his attention, as he looked to the side, finding some kind of dark looking ship at his side, as the title, 'Niddhog' was plated on it in golden letters. "Well... I think we found our soul stealing dragon, Kid..."
-
"Kid, is there any chance you can actually..." Soul was quickly cut off when mist was quickly beginning to roll in, causing the view of the blue sky to become blocked out from sight. "Um... that's not good."
-
A tiny blush appeared on his face before a little smile appeared, as he carefully brought Link's face close to his own. "Only for you, Link..." He brought his face down, and gently pressed their lips together, threading his fingers into the other's soft blonde hair.
-
"There you are, Knuckles. Are you okay? I've been worried about you. Manic hurried over, standing behind the older male.
-
"That's good... what was the name of the ship we were reading about before we left? Niddhog or something like that?" Soul continued to move the paddles, his arms feeling a little tired. He had been doing this for a while, as Kid was standing on the front of the boat, looking out for trouble.
-
"No, it's okay, it was my fault too." The voice said, belonging to Shuichi Shindou, as he helped the younger male pick up the music that had fallen on the ground.
-
---- "Kiiid... my arms are getting tired... are we almost there yet...?" Soul looked back at Kid who was standing near the edge of the row boat they were using in order to get to the village near the Baltic Sea where the disappearances had been happening... Soul didn't know why they couldn't use a different kind of ship, but Kid had insisted that they used this.
-
Soul carefully went over, and helped Kid slip on his usual suit. "I'll keep you safe, Kid, I promise." I'd die before I let you ever get hurt...
