Liz was laughing a little at her meister since she was whapping the giggling Patty in the head multiple times for that comment. "Do you like girls, Maka?" Soul asked lightly, causing the three to freeze, two sets of blue and one set of green eyes glancing over at them, a shade of blush on their cheeks, either from embarrassment or for forgetting the two boys were sitting right there.

"Bye, Maka." She waved with a cute little smile on her face, before she headed off. "Hey, if you were into the same gender, you could go out with Tsubaki!" Patty seemed to announce now that the duel chain scythe was gone.

Tsubaki finished her muffin, as she looked over at the clock. "! Oh dear... I need to get going, Black*Star is probably getting himself hurt without me to help him out." "Yeah, that boy would get his ass kicked by every student in the school without you, Tsubaki." Liz chuckled.

Soul glanced over at Kid, having a little smile, as he reached out, and gently held the other's hand, having it done under the table so there were no funny stares.

"Will you go? Huh huh huh huh?" Patty asked in excitement. "I would like to go... I don't really like dressing up, but I'll give it a shot." "Hurray!" "Patty, calm down, everyone's staring..." Liz groaned.

"Even if you don't go, will we see you at the party?" Tsubaki asked, a smile on her face. "There's gonna be a party?" Soul seemed interested, still chewing on his muffin. "It's the anniversary for the school's founding, one of the few festivities where Shinigami-sama is there personally. I'm sure it would be okay if you two came." "A good excuse to get yourself a date and snag some free food." Liz had a grin.

Soul looked over at Kid, having a little smile. "Do you two not go to the academy?" Liz asked, finally getting her caffeinated high now that she had finished drinking her coffee.

"She is able to change her arm into the blade of her weapon, like most weapons can, but if she's not in her full weapon form, she gets dizzy after a while, and faints." Tsubaki added her little memory to the conversation, sipping her tea... ah, green tea, it was pure bliss. "We don't talk to her very much. She has special classes, kinda like Black*Star to help, you know, keep her concentration in semi weapon form so it takes longer for her to get her dizzy spells." Patty replied, almost sounding serious. "Here, for you, Patty." Liz handed her the dream bar. "Marshmallows!" She squealed, and began to nom on the sticky treat.

"I think can only remember a couple weapons that don't have meisters and only one of them actually became a Death Scythe." Soul was musing to himself, as the others came over. "Whatcha chatting about?" Liz asked, gripping the cup that held her completely black beverage.

"I would like a blueberry muffin." Tsubaki replied. "I'll take a glazed donut... and... I think a marshmallow dream bar for Patty." Soul swirled his hot chocolate in his cup, "I was thinking. You remember the girl we met this morning? Why do you think she doesn't have a meister yet?"

"I would like that!" Tsubaki cheered. "I just want plain coffee." Liz shrugged. Soul took a sip of his hot chocolate, as he looked over at Kid. "Hey. Um, I wanted to ask you something."

"Do they have any kind of coffee with tea in it, Maka?" Tsubaki tilted her head, not used to coming to a coffee shop. Soul took a bite from his muffin, seeming happy with the sweet and fluffy taste he was getting.

"Oooh, I'm planning to splash in every puddle I see!" Patty announced in excitement. Tsubaki laughed softly, as Patty began to slam her feet into a nearby puddle. "Patty, do you realize how many puddles are on this street alone?" "Splash splash splash~" "...And I lost her." Liz sighed. Soul soon came back, carrying a tray with their stuff. "Here ya go, Kid."

"Excuse me. I would like a white hot chocolate, a pumpkin scone, a white chocolate mocha, and a strawberry muffin." "Yes sir. Just a couple minutes." The person at the counter nodded, as she headed off to get their drinks and treats, as the rain outside was beginning to get heavier.

Soul had a little smile. "Sure. I'll get something for myself too." The two headed inside before it was beginning to rain, as he headed over the counter.

Soul wanted to look over to him. "Did you want me to get you something?"

"I guess it's a good thing we're meeting at a coffee shop and not the park, right?" Soul mused, having a little smile. Least Kid wouldn't get sick from being in the rain too long... since elements don't really affect him like it does for him.

"Yeah, I guess that should be fine." Soul had a nod escape him, knowing this would give him more alone time with the younger death god, yay~ He squeezed the other's hand in return, as they headed out of the already empty classroom.

"Are we supposed to meet them here, or at the coffee place?" Soul scratched the side of his head, before he felt the older male lightly grip his hand, making him blush.

"YAY!" Patty squealed, as her and Liz hurried off to go get her, Maka walking at her own pace behind them. Soul had his hands in his pockets. "They're pretty nice, do you think so?"

"Well, how about we just invite Tsubaki. She's not annoying, plus she's our friend." Patty insisted. "Long as she meets us at the usual coffee place and not her 'surpassing god' meister, I'm up for it."

"Sure, that would be cool." Soul shrugged, having his toothy smile. Liz rubbed the back of her head. "We don't have to invite Black*Star, do we...?"

The bell finally rang. "Aww, class is over now..." Patty whined, finally releasing her hug completely. "Hey, hey, we need to hang out! Can we?" Patty nearly begged, clinging to Maka's arm.

"Patty is unpredictable, you'll get used to it after a while." Liz piped up. Soul blushed a little... why are girls with big boobs always hugging him...? He only wanted to get hugs from Kid.

"Yay! New friends!" Patty squealed in excitement, before trapping both Soul and Kid in a hug.
