"Io, have you seen Belbet?" Evan went over to the small cute little boy, who looked up at him, the obvious bruises on his thin arms from the company he kept with Jose. "I...I dun think so... Jose?" He looked over at the punk like male.

Diggs nodded eagerly, as he reached a hand up, and grabbed the blonde's before climbing up onto the back of Epona, as he brought his arms around the other's waist, squeezing him as Link's 'Hyah!' was heard, and soon Epona was off.

A small little Tails Chao named ButterCup, one that belonged to Tails, hurried over as Shadow entered the garden, obviously looking for the small black-violet chao in question. "Chao Chao Chao!" She ran up to him, tugging at his hand desperately.

Epona gave a little nod, snorting a little. "Of course I will. You are my favorite riders." Diggs chuckled, as he gently patted the young horse, looking over at Link. "You first, Link."

Diggs hurried over and gently pet the fuzzy mare. "Shh... it's alright now, Epona, those things won't hurt you anymore..." Epona gently nudged him with her head, resting her eyes "I'm so glad to see you both again... I was so scared when those things were trying to ride me and hit me if I didn't do as they said..."

Diggs jumped as Link pulled from his arms at the sound of a horse whinny. He seemed a bit sad... sure, he was happy... Link finally told him that he loved him, and they would fight anything to protect each other... everytime he was in the Twilight, he hated it, but Link would be clingy and wanting to mate with him... here, things kept getting in the way... It would almost be better if... No, he made himself stop thinking like that. He hurried after Link to see if he could help calm Epona down.

"I'll go with you if you wish... I don't want you to get hurt again like in the Temple..." The older gently trailed his fingers through the other's hair, before leaning close and softly kissed him.

Diggs blinked, still keeping a grip on him. He took a hold of his arm, and pulled him into one of the buildings, making the group they had left behind to stare in confusion. "Link, just listen for a minute without the stubbornness. I know what I'm doing... try and go back to Ordon and talk to Bo. He has the trust of the Gorons cause he bested them in a test of strength a couple years back... he'll show you how to do it... Please trust me... I don't want to watch you get thrown off a cliff by a Goron..."

Diggs blinked, before hurrying over and grabbed the other's wrist. "Link, hang on a minute... you've heard of Gorons, right? If your not strong enough, then you won't get very far with them. Let me go."

"Mmm... Nightmares are everywhere these days, it seems. This village has certainly seen its share of recent hardships..." Renado looked over in the direction of the mountains. "The dark beasts attacked, but even worse was the sudden and inexplicable change in the mountain-dwelling Goron tribe. They had long been our friends, but suddenly treated us as foes. Even now they refuse to permit us entry into their mines. It strains the limits of belief... To think that such a gentle and proud tribe could change so suddenly... It makes me wonder if something in those mines is the cause of this change... In any case, you must take these children and flee this village before more nightmares descend. I, of course, cannot leave my village in such a time. There is no telling what may happen to us here......But it is my job to try to coax the Gorons back from their recent change of heart."

"...A nightmare." Malo mumbled sadly. Diggs frowned a little... waking up in the Twilight scared him as well... he could only imagine how frightening it was for the kids.

Sheko was wiggling, noming on the other's hand as in an attempt to make him let go, as they quickly left the portal as quickly as they came. Shadow! Help me!

Renado gave a small nod, looking at the children. "At first, I couldn't believe they had come from such a distant place like the Ordona Providence."

"Chao!" That's not Shadow...! He squeaked, and tried to make a run for it, before something something grabbed his tail, lifting him up into the air, making him wiggle in the air. "Chao! Chao chao chao!" Put me down! Shadow!

Evan slowly pulled himself out of his sleep, as he glanced over to check on Belbet, only to find to his shock that the other male was gone. "Belbet... Belbet where are you...?" He pulled himself out of bed, slipping his shirt back on before slipping out of his cell.

He finally found a button that said on, as a litle smile appeared on his face, his litle tail wagging, as he lightly pressed it, causing the dull grey to change back to it's white-blue that it was before. "Chao!" Yay! I can go find Shadow! He didn't even get a chance to jump onto the portal when the thing began to glow, showing someone was using it from the other side. His ears perked in shock.

"We are well met. I am Renado, the shaman of this town. And this is..." Barnes lifted his mask, as if waiting for himself to be introduced next. "This is my daughter, Luda." He gestured to the young girl instead. Diggs picked himself up, carrying Beth in his arms. "I'm Diggs, and this is Link."

"What's wrong, Evan? You seem sad..." Vallewida poked his head into the hallway seeming worried about him. "...Belbet has been acting so strangely... ever since he came back from a forced sex between him and Guys... makes me think he's thinking about Jake again..."

Diggs looked over at Link, a soft hint of blush on his cheeks, before a smile appeared on his face... It was kind of cute... Link was talking to others now... and though he was looking away, he admitted that he and him were lovers. "What's a soul mate?" Talo asked softly. "...A boyfriend or girlfriend." Malo rolled his eyes. "Excuse me, are you two the boys these kids were speaking of?" Diggs looked up as he saw the man in shaman like clothing that he heard was called Renado back when they were spirits. He remembered hearing that some Shamans can understand animals, and even had close relationships with the Zora and Gorons.

The small chao had snuck out of the Chao Garden, as he crawled over, and sat in front of the portal... did he remember how Omochao turned this on...? Maybe if he went out, he could find Shadow on his own... he was always sad when Shadow had to leave with no telling when he would be back... he needed to go look for him this time... "Chao!" He got on his tippy toes, and began to look at the controls to get an idea of how it worked.

Beth whimpered, before she looked up at the older of the two boys, seeing his face... She suddenly bowed, shaking a bit. "I-I'm sorry...!" Diggs watched her, as she was shivering a little, tears falling onto the dusty ground. Was she scared? "I didn't want to believe it was true... y-you can hit me if you want... I... I didn't know what to think... and everything Ilia would scream at me about you... I let it get the better of me... I'm sorry, Big Brother..." His eyes widened... Big Brother... she hadn't called him that in so long... Big Brother... Big Brother, go swimming with me...! Big Brother Diggs...! He rubbed the tears away from his eyes, and knelt down, wrapping Beth tightly into his arms. "It's okay, Beth... please don't cry... I understand... I'm sorry..."

"Belbet." Evan hurried after him, and gently squeezed his bare arm. "What's the matter?" He frowned... he wasn't as talkative as usual... he knew something was tormenting him

Diggs allowed himself to be dragged to his feet, his attack power feeling like it had been cut... he was probably functioning on 15% after that incident. He gently squeezed the other's hand as he followed beside him, his eyes looking tired from crying...he still had tears in his eyes, but they weren't as bad now. "...I'm sorry..."

A pair of big red eyes were watching the door of the Chao Garden, a soft bushy black-violet tail swishing back and forth, though a little frown was on the dark chao's face... How long had it been since the portals were sealed off? In order to keep those scary creatures from entering the gardens? A week? Two weeks...? It was hard to keep track since this place eternally sunny... unless you were in the Dark Garden. "Chao..." Shadow... are you okay...? I miss you...

The male's ears were twitching a bit, as he looked behind him, staring at the blonde's soft eyes, though his looked a bit red and bubbled up with shed and fresh tears... "Link... I... I'm... I'm sorry..." He turned himself around enough as he brought his head to rest against the other's lap, his arms wrapped tightly around his waist, as his sobs were muffled. "I... I did talk to the Bulbins when they had the kids... I...I was trying to... I just..."
