I wonder what caused them to remove the .bdl/.bmd for the forest? I mean, they still have beta versions of the last two rooms in the Tower of the Gods, for crying out loud! (Which, by the way, looked pretty nice. It's a shame they decided to change the aesthetics for the Tower.) Hmm... Would it be possible to create a map file to replace the missing one?

I made this to go along with Operation Moonfall on my own:

(Sorry for double post) I fixed it! Highest point of my day! Besides seeing Harry Potter, that is.

This seriously made my day. I've been trying to get Wheatley's eye to that color since last Thursday. And I finally managed to do it. Now I've got to get the rest of his body texture working again. It's always something, isn't it?

Seems I'm the odd one out here... my first console was the Gamecube. Luigi's Mansion, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime... those are the games I remember. But I've got an NES and an N64, as well.

Well... what I did wasn't really that special. All I did was splice some clips together. Anyone could do it, honestly. But, thanks. I'm not sure if I'll do anymore.

With all the glitches there are in OoT 3D... Grezzo is either REALLY bad at debugging, Or Nintendo and Grezzo found out that people had the most fun with OoT figuring out glitches, so they 'let' glitches get through development.

Here's another.

I made this out of boredom.

Did I mention that the only thing I did was add the "Fabulous!"?

Thanks...?

(Made by me) ...Yeah, I know the backgrounds of the letters are terrible, but you should give me some credit for the spacing of the letters and the positioning in relation to the upper sentence. Right?

Nintendo offering Live Coverage of E3 Expo 2011
Sage of Mirrors replied to Zeth Ryder's topic in News
I heard somewhere that they're going to announce something for the 25th anniversary at E3... Considering what Miyamoto said at the GDC (think it was), that it'll "Bring Zelda fans together," I think it might be a 3DS Four Swords or Four Swords-styled game. What else could bring Zelda fans together than a Wi-Fi Four Swords with the 3DS' pretty good online? -
Hey! I'll post some animations I've made in the program GIMP here. Most of them are just Oracle sprites, though... Have fun!

"Oh hi. So how are you holding up? Because I'm a POTATO." -GLaDOS in Potato form.

Nintendo offering Live Coverage of E3 Expo 2011

Too bad school isn't over until Friday the 10th... Do you think they'll put trailers up on their E3 site like they did last year? -
Wind Waker: Exactly How Much was Cut?
Sage of Mirrors replied to Sage of Mirrors's topic in General Gaming
I just watched that cutscene; it shows a wide view of the castle, but you can't see any of that architecture. -
Wind Waker: Exactly How Much was Cut?

One of the exit fadeouts A stairwell Location in relation to the rest of the castle Another exit fadeout and some more stairways; notice the stairway that leads into the ceiling Here's a little of what I'm talking about. Under normal circumstances, you would never see these- not even during the cutscene where you're floating down from the surface for the first time. -
Wind Waker: Exactly How Much was Cut?

Why would stairs you can't see normally be there for scenery? I know the things on Dragon Roost and Tower are for scenery. -
So, I know this thread will probably die in a matter of minutes, but I thought it'd be cool to have a short discussion on it. The question is- how much of Wind Waker's planned content was scrapped due to time constraints? I think there was a lot. I recently made a discovery while using the Action Replay in Underwater Hyrule. In the areas around the outside of Hyrule Castle, there are groups of staircases leading to black fade-out spots similar to the entrances to the mail center on Dragon Roost Island. None of these have collision. This might not seem like much, but what's interesting is that these areas are never seen during regular gameplay and, even more interestingly, the technique of having a simplified version of the geometry of another area present in the overworld is used both on Dragon Roost Island (to show the area where you save Medli) and the Tower of the Gods (the final stairwell that leads to Gohdan). None of these areas have collision. Sound familiar? I think that the areas I found around Hyrule Castle are remnants of a more complex Hyrule Castle that was planned, but then cut. However, I also believe that Hyrule itself was meant to have more interaction. The random lake surrounding the Castle is, well, random; given the main mode of transportation (sailing), I think that the lake was supposed to be like an ocean beneath the ocean, on which you'd use the KoRL. The barrier, I think, was sort of like a last-minute addition explaining why you can't get to the temples; if you noticed, you couldn't get to them even if the barrier wasn't there. So my hypothesis here? I think that you were originally supposed to sail on the lake surrounding the Castle to get to the Earth and Wind Temples before it was cut and the simplified 'Island Entrances' were created. So, what do you guys think?

I thought it was a pretty cool name; I came up with the explanation that I'm the eigth sage, but Raruru kicked me out because there were already too many sages...

Ms. Avigard went on. "To answer your question, Mr...? Ah, it doesn't matter; I'll learn your names soon... Just as long as nobody here's named 'AAA...' That would be fine, as long as you consult me first. OK. That raps up this period. Aren't half-days grand?" She beamed.
-
(Yes. If you notice: Ms Nadine Avigard ;-) ) "...around the start of fourth quarter, we will be into the Hero of Time unit, and-" she stopped abruptly at voices interrupting her. "Hey!" she retaliated. "Please do not talk while someone else is talking!"
-
Ms. Avigard glared at Vaati, but said nothing and moved on. "I am Ms. Avigard," she declared, pointing to a blackboard with the name enscribed on it. "Now, this is Hylian, so obviously we are here to learn- what else?- Hylian. Under your chairs you will find the textbooks we will use throughout the year. Please, do not write in them or take them out of this classroom, whatsoever! As to what we will be doing this year, please follow along..." She went into a descrption of the year's agenda in what seemed like one breath.
