  1. I do have to start using that editor more. There's probably a ton of unknown goodies that can be located with it.
  2. I've looked at the answer for this for far too long but each time have come up blank. MZXRules is right though that the length of the sword deals Nothing with the model of the sword itself (which is strange because the Deku Stick is programmed in such a way that it's length of swing is as long as the Deku Stick currently is.) The Hit Detection in the Animations themselves have not helped me in anyway in finding the sword's slash. Something, somewhere is telling the game that this Action Parameter is in use therefore the swing should be This long. Unfortunately, despite all of my leads on where the current action parameter is saved I have never been able to find it. Hopefully someone will be able to though.
  3. So you're even taking your skill to the actors where it applies eh? That design blows the old simple one out of the water.
  4. Well, never mind then, in game it somehow looks even better! Those chains in particular are a great touch. Are those hookshotable targets in the distance? Or are they decoration?
  5. That is an amazingly detailed area. I fear though that it might be *too* detailed. While playing on it are you still able to shoot missiles and throw bombs, summon Spin Attack, etc? I've noticed that in some maps that are too detailed (mainly the 3DS imported ones) that it will eat so much RAM (I assume) that it won't allow any actors to spawn from Link.
  6. I am still confident in my role. School is nearly over for this semester so the summer should give me a bit of time to catch up on things and I may actually *gasp* assist you in some tangible manner.
  7. Wow. That is incredible! That could honestly pass for an early PS2 game area, rather than an N64 one. You are getting your full mileage out of this system's graphical capabilities Sairugoth!
  8. So your program will eventually allow us to create maps in Blender and then import them using Sharp Ocarina? Or am I misunderstanding the point of the program?
  9. Oh wow! For so long I had thought this was a fan-fiction because of the name (sorry about that.) But wow! This is a full fledged, highly ambitious project! This looks incredible! Nice base for a story and your maps are incredible! I will be keeping my eyes on this project! Keep up the great work.

  11. The more you know, I suppose. Thanks foor the clarification. I had heard that SS used the Wind Waker engine as a base. But I guess it uses a ?modified? Brawl one?
  12. Hmm, that is quite a reasonable argument. Spinning stars might be interesting to see, but I suppose it could be a little disorienting. That second idea you gave would seem ideal for a way to add a proper starry sky to OoT.
  13. That makes a good amount of sense. In theory they look nice, but they're just so low-resolution when actually seen in-game. (also the lack of stars in OoT was always rather perplexing.) Is there only a single skybox or is there a skybox for day-twilight-night? If there's only one universal skybox I guess that might be why the night sky is underwhelming.
  14. Wha? Really? The fourth digit and a fourth upgrade slot was originally planned? I do have to wonder why they would choose to remove and limit that. In any case it looks completely natural. Good work on that! I'm sure future mods will find that particular hack quite useful.
  15. I've always hated the Skybox in OoT (You can see the Seams for Heaven's sake!) This looks like a vast improvement over that though! Great work.
  16. Airikita is working on Zelda's Eternal Youth which is the most impressive hack seen thus far, a lot of it is in test phase but if you look up "airikitascave" on youtube you can see hours worth of crazy and interesting things that have been done with Zelda 64.
  17. There should be no special treatment for something so small and insignificant. If he wants to post he should make his own account. To borrow another person's account to post when signing up takes only a minute seems a quizzical activity at best.
  18. I would suggest to go to romhacking.net for that sort of thing (old gamesharks). The people over there are very knowledgeable in this regard and are a kind and unassuming sort from what I have experienced of them.
  19. Oy, maps... To my knowledge the only people with even a sliver of knowledge into dungeon maps would be MZXRules and Airikita. If I were you I would honestly forego the map because it's likely way too much work at the moment.
  20. Oh? You have an NFRS cart Xenix? Whos knows what extra goodies are on there that might have been removed from later versions? By all means you should use whatever methods at your disposal to upload it to the internet! Please keep in contact with Airikita who likely has the most experience in this, and if you need any additional help you might want to reach out to the community at romhacking.net, they might be able to lend a hand as well.
  21. A Wind Waker test room being in an OoT remake (TP, SS, PH, ST all based off of Wind Waker's engine) wouldn't have been that outlandish and would have made a good deal of sense. It had me going, great work fellows!
  22. Hah! Impressive work XDaniel, and good eyes there Zeth. Strange that they would include a Wind Waker test model into a remake of OoT, maybe they planned to use the Wind Waker engine originally before creating their own modified version of OoT's.
  23. Historic? You're joking right? What Airikita has done, now That's historic! A multi-player OoT Hack? Good luck on stability, along with a host of a hundred other problems that will show up. Besides, as Airikita pointed out this is an old concept and has been tackled from several different directions already and from what I know of Cendamos' work, he'll make something and not apply it at all to the actual game. Even if he succeeds how will he deal with enemy AI? That, in my opinion, will be the largest stumbling block in a multiplayer endeavor.
  24. You're a child Cendamos... how dare you bring up someone's personal life, but its nothing new from you and your goons. Continue your work, but stop your showboatting you old relic, it does nothing but foster ill will from all communities you participate in.
  25. Other than the text is there any actual data still associated with this file? A disassembly or something that might help to discern what its function might be? Or is it purely text?
