  1. ^ This... right there, and please allow me, as someone who has both FFXIII and FFXIII-2, to bring more acknowledgement to what Mallos has said. FFXIII is by no means a horrible game. Do bear in mind that it is very linear, yes, but there is lots of replayability, and sidequests to do. If you're a trophy hunter (or achievement hunter, since I have the 360 version), you'll spend hours or even days trying to unlock every last one. Many people have criticized the music, because it isn't Nobuo Uematsu, but I think Masashi Hamauzu did a spectacular job. One of my all time favourite tracks on the game is Will to Fight, and in keeping with the trend of previous titles, there are many pieces that are inspired by the main Fabula Nova Crystallis theme. The battle system is RATB (Real Action Time Battle), and you only control whichever party member is the leader. There is also a sense of urgency too, because if the leader is KO'd, you automatically get a GAME OVER, even if the others are still standing. Grinding is a must, as money is hard to come by, so you'll be wanting to sell a lot of the items that monsters drop in order to gain much needed bankage. All-in-all, while some of it was a bit frustrating, I found it vastly enjoyable, and have even played through it multiple times. You should also get yourself a copy of FFXIII-2, because that brings back the same formula, but expands it greatly, and removes the linear feel of it. The story is great, messes with your mind (like all FF stories do, lol), and is just a total blast. Personally, FFXIII still has to convince me. I bought the game last December and still haven't beaten it. The reason you ask? Well the reasons are the RATB system and the fact that I can only control ONE character in my current group. It also gets boring pressing the "auto-choose-actions-button-thingy" when in a normal battle. I only tend to choose manually when I'm in a boss fight, and that only when I try to get a strategic advantage that the "auto-choose-actions-thingy" doesn't give me. And for me it takes lots of time to get to a boss fight because I'm grinding non-stop. I also don't like Lightning and her attitude towards, well, everyone. She's one of the video game characters I like the least. I know that she actually cares about those who are close to her, but that in my opinion doesn't make up for her attitude. I do like the overall story and the music though. And Masashi Hamauzu has indeed done a wonderful job on the music (Blinded by Light is just incredible). Once I beat FFXIII I might get FFXIII-2, since its gameplay seems to be quite interesting and not as linear. I do wish though that Square Enix makes an FF with the good ol' CTB system that FFX had (my favorite FF).
  2. Rise Against - Like The Angel:
  3. Well, good luck with the project. If you need any custom map models (not dungeons), you can PM me .
  4. I will be taking part in this from now on... well I'll try, since I've never really played any of the old Sonic games, so wish me luck ^^.
  5. Well...if you want to have new dungeons, items, sidequests, and new areas to explore, that is a goal for most mods on here. But, do you have ideas for your dungeons, items, sidequests, and new areas? I'd like to see an outline of what you have planned, rather than just a generalization. Do you have experience with making these things, or are you new to the process? If you are, I suggest checking out the Tutorial thread here and see what you might be interested in starting first. ^This here and also, you might want to give more info on the story. If you want people to join your project, you will have to gain their interest first. It's not fun working on a project, when you don't know what it's about.
  6. Whoops, I'm being stupid... Sorry for that double post...
  7. After a long, stressfull, or even f***ed up day that get's me depressed, I like to listen to this acoustic cover of Survive which was written by Rise Against. This guy is really good and has a nice and calming voice.
  8. Dude, that depression shows how much it was worth it .
  9. I have been wanting to play this game for a long time but am unable to find it.:/ You should check it out on Amazon. I bought it for about 35 € (That's about 40$?) about 2 weeks after it's been released.
  10. The Last Story is a great game.

Well they're not one of my favorite bands, but really awesome and the only christian band I know that doesn't suck.
  12. Yes, they are known as "mermaids". Is it possible to read other peoples minds?
  13. 3/8 cum and 5/8 quats. Why do Canadians say "eh"?
  14. They already do, but only when I kick their asses first. Are cornflakes a lie?

  18. Practice is everything guys! I'm not that good of an artist either, but I'm going to keep on practicing .
  19. Netsrac is Carsten (which is my name) spelled backwards. It represents a mirror. But not a normal mirror. It's a mirror with cracks in it. A mirror with so many cracks in it, that it alters the look of what is supposed to be reflected. It shows something, where I'm not sure if it's something I want or don't want to become... my alter ego...
  20. It's as complex as my mom's mind... Does one loose his soul for saying "damn" in a church?
  21. The lie is a lie! Why the F**K, are ducks yellow?!
  22. You can get the basics down with this: http://www.the-gcn.com/topic/2033-video-tutorials-to-get-started-and-master-tool-list/?hl=master+tool+list
