The download for both Link models are broken. If you could possibly upload them again, that would be awesome. I uploaded the young link model above. I don't have adult, I think sang might have it though.
-
I went on the laptop real quick. Here's young link imported in, I thought I had adult too, but meh. http://www.mediafire.com/?d3s4la4gzk5fcbx Also, manual for sketchup, I found it useful: http://kpaccio.wikispaces.com/file/view/GSUUsersGuide-WIN.pdf I'm still looking for the documentation on sizes of certain things, but I did find my note on a regular door: 100" high, 60" wide and 20" deep EDIT: net posted those above

I have a file with adult and child link imported into them for scale. I can upload that later for you when I'm able to get on my laptop--when I use them as a starting point, I never seem to have a problem with the map turning out small then. There's documentation somewhere on the hight of doors and such, I'll find that too in case someone doesn't post it up.

I didn't intend for this to fit perfectly into the mess that's Zelda Timeline. This is just a new story not worrying about where ig oes. Now, there IS a third adventure implied in Termina that we never see, this is why Link has Tael. If the story doesn't matter too much, it's what I tried to work on most in the hack, so I'm sorry. I can't think of a large amount of text that went unchanged, unless you mean shops and such. If it fit okay, I usually left it, so that could be it. Thanks for the feedback though, and I am glad you're enjoying it

Okay, try doing a regular save just to make sure that works. That should save your game properly with the .sra folder. If you really want to use save states....I'm not sure how they work on Nemu, I've really never used them.
-
Do you mean using save STATES or actually saving in-game? You should see the .sra file in the same folder as your rom. For save states...I don't use them so I'm not sure where they go. I've updated the first post to warn about the jar room crashing.
-
I'll add this issue to the first post. Sorry guys :/
-
Haha, no, the guard room is useless. It's just a bunch of dogs running around. I'm thinking now that it might crash because of the dogs. Not sure.
-
Great Teacher Onizuka approved of it.
-
Good job on finding it, I think that's the best hidden item in the game.
-
Make sure you get the dungeon item in Dodongo's. Technically you go into the WT, but don't expect to complete everything in one visit.

I always HATED that yahoo Saria throws out there. Just hated it. When I first started out making the hack, the plan was to go very comedic, so there's still a few elements of that in the beginning part of the game--you can really tell with the signs and such. I liked the google and the dost sucketh way too much to pull them out though.
-
Sorry, I was just joking with you, Koopa. Yeah, I've uploaded the nemu package on mediafire for folks as well, so that might help some people.
-
Saria tells you in her first line of dialogue in the game.

It's okay, I've told myself to learn from the experience, grit my teeth, and move on. The next thing I make will be better and run better. *fist pump* FOR EVERYONE!
-
That would be good, because apparently the average youtube user can't use Nemu. I'm going absolutely nuts.
-
I'm just really upset right now, I wanted this to go smoother than it has. ;~; Yeah, I'm letting folks know about prepatch as well.

I feel really awful right now. There's just so many people having issues with this thing, but there's also people having no issues whatsoever. I don't understand it, I did everything I could to give the best instructions on how to set it up, but there's freezing, the game not playing, ect. *sigh* I had four to five people test this, and they had no trouble with this, including someone who used PJ with glide. Is there aything else I can do other than tell people how to set it up? I'm not talking to anyone here, I'm just incredibly annoyed by the influx of stupid people on Youtube who refuse to watch the video on how to set it up, or read the readme, or just the really dumb people who say "oh, what's changed? It looks the same!" Compounded on the fact that I can't be on here trying to help out with everyone who has an issue.
-
Weird. I had one person before have it crash at that room, but I thought it was a fluke. Doesn't crash at that point for me, and no one else has mentioned that....hmm.. Sorry though
-
Check readme for Mupen settings. I've never used that before.

I laughed way too hard at this one: I want to know the cave's story. Like..how did he get to be a cave and get apprentices? And what does a cave apprentice do?
-
Yeah, think you might need a clean rom. Download the CRC fix patched rom from the download links, and hopefully everything will work out. Because yeah, the Goron City warp is still supposed to lead to Goron City.
-
The Z64 file is the patched rom, you can just play that. You don't have to actually patch anything.
-
I see. Well, I say if most of your team is on board with the idea, then do what you want to do. You aren't going to have fun working on something that you don't want to put out. You'll have more fun doing what story you want to tell and what you want people to see. If you make it, people will play it. No matter what it is. There's always gonna be someone who whines that it won't be "Zelda", but I doubt most people will. I'm interested in seeing what you can do with the Z64 engine and make everything new. I'll vote for new everything.
-
It depends on what constitutes a "Zelda" story. What about combining the ideas? You have an interesting idea to show off Termina's past...but do it with a new protagonist. Instead of Link, you'll use that new character to show life in Termina, ect. You can expand on Termina's world, rather than just have the main hub with three (wow brain fart) four compass points. Just an idea, I think you can have both a new story, new characters, and new maps while telling Termina's past.
