  1. double post to ask what you did
  2. Well...that's a new one. ..... Check settings? I don't know what you'll check, but check them? I don't know what to say to that one. O.O
  3. Awesome! Yeah, it seems everyone is having a little bit of a different issue--when one solution works for something, another one comes out. XD We'll get it nailed down, it'll be like this for a while though, probably. Glad you were able to get it working, let me know how you like it!
  4. Did you try downloading the fixed version Shadow put up? http://www.the-gcn.com/files/file/61-voyager-of-time/ If you have, sorry >.<
  5. Yep, you can upload videos for it on youtube, just be sure to give credit of course. You are free to play the game and show it off however you want. Have fun! Se puede subir videos para que en youtube, sólo asegúrese de dar crédito por supuesto. Usted es libre de jugar el juego y demostrar que fuera lo que le apetezca. Que se diviertan!
  6. I had a dream last night that I released the wrong patch for people, and that it was some completely different game. It was horrible. I also dreamed that people got the light arrows like two seconds into the game. >.>
  7. Thanks, shadow, I'll update the link for it-- I understand, yeah, I just didn't realize that this was a problem until release, or else I would have fixed it.
  8. Try following instructions in this post and see if it helps: http://www.the-gcn.com/topic/2030-legend-of-zelda-voyager-of-time-complete/?p=35598
  9. Shadow gave me approval to do so, if anything, we can host the rom until folks here get the issues sorted out. I'll host it on my mediafire and put it in the description of the release video.
  10. For those having trouble, and think it might be the clean rom problem, I'm gonna try and upload a patched rom later today. My gramma's internet isn't the fastest, so it might take a while to upload. Apologies for all the troubles. x.x
  11. I feel bad, I'm sorry you guys can't play it. Hopefully someone will find an answer for you.
  12. Not sure, I've never used Mupen. In the readme I have everything my tester said he used for it and what settings. If it doesn't get working, I'm sorry. :/ I will be doing a co-op Let's Play with a friend who's not play Master Quest before, so it should be fun. I'm doing it for the folks who aren't able to play it. There are quite a number of people who want to LP it too.
  13. Might not be compatable with Everdrive, not sure. Do you have to do something to make it work on that? Sorry you're having so much trouble setzer. Everyone isn't have troubles though....right?
  14. Voyager SHOULD work with PJ and glide...it was also tested well enough in Mupen 64. Here's the settings my tester used: -video is either jabos 1.5.2 or mudlord's rice video build 6.1.3.2 All additional settings for video basically are straight off the debug video setting page. I would reccomend rice as sometimes 1.5 flakes out. -for input, anything works really, I personally prefer the TAS input plugin 0.6 since I don't have a controller and it gives you this: http://puu.sh/2J6Im.png -sound any, j1.6 works fine -RSP = RSP emu plugin general settings looks like this: http://puu.sh/2J6K0.png but i dont think it matters too much, advanced looks like this http://puu.sh/2J6L0.png again shouldnt matter too much. The version of mupen I used was mupen64 0.5.0 rerecording-v8 and I would imagine nonTAS mupen emu would work fine.
  15. WWOOOOW. That video. O.O I lol'd.
  16. This is a thread to help with any issues that people might have with Voyager of Time. This is NOT a walkthrough thread, only a hint and feedback thread for the game. If you are stuck in the game, or having problems figuring out where to go next, I'm going to first of all say "Talk to an NPC." Nine times out of ten, that's going to be the answer. The game contains all the hints you need--you just need to find them. That's half the fun, eh? If you are really, really just stuck, then that's when you post in here. Give me feedback on the game! I want to know what is good, what is bad, or what is downright awful! Who knows, I might make another mod in the future using the feedback you give me about this one. Official GCN download (patched rom CRC fix): http://www.the-gcn.com/files/file/61-voyager-of-time/ Known Game/ROM Issues (from readme) 1) Please, dear god, don't forget to get Din's Fire before Zelda Escape. There is a puzzle that should require it, but please get it just in case you find a way past that puzzle. You will not be able to continue normally later on in the game if you don't get it! 2) Serenade of Water is never learned in this hack. Sorry, I know it's annoying, but use Epona, that's what she's there for. 3) You will not be getting Silver Scale in the game. You can play the Diving game all you want though. 4) Some grottos don't really work properly--there are a lot that actually lead you to the Razor Sword hole, so there will be an open chest in it. This is remnants of an idea I had to use grotttos as a warping system. Never came about, and never got around to fixing it. Sorry. 5) You might run across random graphical glitches like heavy fog or see-through graphics in an area, or completely black graphics. Do your best to get through it, it'll clear up eventually, or if you know Nocturne, a quick-fix is to warp to a place like the graveyard and the graphical problems should fix up. This shows up on Nemu64, but one of my testers did use Mupen, so try that out, but you might still have the random graphical problems. 6) Sounds sometimes (very, very rarely) drop from when you play the ocarina, just restart the emulator and it'll come back up. 7) The old pot room in Hyrule Castle Market seems to crash for some people. Just save before entering.
  17. OMG guys, I'm so excited to get you this mod. Excuse me while I be really unprofessional and all that and just *squee* in joy of it's completion! If everything gets done with, we're looking at a midnight release! *squee* You guys have no idea how happy I am at all the wonderful help that people have given me. I wish I could just release it right now, I'm so hyped up! Even while hunched over a laptop that's sitting on a stack of books in the middle of my grandma's house. She's so funny, I was telling her I had a game releasing soon and she said: "Oh, that's great, honey, I saw you playing it earlier, is it that Zelda game you raved about when you were little?" "Yes, gramma, it's a fan-made game for it." "Wow, you should get paid for that." "That would be illegal, gramma." "But you've been working hard on it!" "Yes, but, gramma, I'm doing modifications to the game, not making a whole new game." "......" "It's....like just taking the original game and adding a whole lot of new stuff." "That sounds like hard work, you should get paid!" *facepalm* I love my gramma.
  18. Eehhh....I'm just gonna say I hope that the nemu issues clear up. I've heard there's a lot of lag on PJ64, but I think with PJ and glide plugin...it MIGHT work. I haven't tested it myself, but I know someone who had it running on that setup. So...I'm gonna say a hopeful yes.
  19. There might be something in the works to that effect.
  20. I just have it in the downloads folder, yeah. Sorry it didn't work. :/
  21. Sorry I wasn't able to help earlier, I'm running around behind the scenes here. Try this out, I've zipped up my nemu folder with all the plugins and settings that I have, I have Windows 7 myself. http://www.mediafire.com/?8leuy3ruytu2rxi
