I do have rain in Hyrule Field near that area, do you think that could be it?
-
I think we all mean her original form when we say Midna. That was a cursed form.

One of my testers got back to me with a weird graphical problem and said this is what he did: Anyone have any idea what might cause this? And then it go back to normal?
-
Something Metroid maybe? Considering 25 years came and went with no word... I don't keep up with E3 as it happens anyway, I never have. I'll hear about stuff eventually.

Welcome, hope you enjoy your stay.

Weird...the only other thing I can think of is perhaps the model isn't exporting or importing properly...at this point, xdan might have to take a look. It certainly looks like the model is missing it's collision in Sharp, but in sketchup it does look fine. Try building a block onto the flat part with just the line tool and see if that works. I'm sorry I don't know the answer right off, but we'll figure it out. It's just really weird. Hmm. -
Is it the same sort of thing when Nabooru was being sucked into the sand? Unless that was the same as phantom's portal...I can't remember.

In my experience there's no way you can predict all the errors that can come forth. I've had some really weird stuff out of left field happen on Voyager. Some of it is just not knowing stuff on my part, the other part of it is the game just not allowing certain things. One thing off the top of my head is Sheik not appearing in Ice Cavern unless you get Iron Boots there. Any other item and he won't appear. Little things like that can change the way your mod is going in an instant. And there really is no predicting that until you do it.

Mk, if he falls through the map, it must mean that your collision map is wrong, which means the faces must not be inverted correctly. Sometimes it's hard to see, but keep messing with inverting the individual faces until it "fixes" itself. The only other thing is that that part of the map hasn't been built properly, but I assume if it looks fine in sketchup, than it must be all built, there's no holes or anything through it if you can stick a texture on it. But yeah, if Link goes through it, collision isn't being done right. If it still continues to do it, post up a few screenshots of your sketchup model without the textures on it. -
Yeah, I never noticed them on N64. Hmm. It's much slighter, but yeah, they made 'em more pronounced I think in the 3d version.
-
Yeah, otherwise the game freezes up if you just change the "regular" item offset to have both adult and link use the hookshot.

When you inserted it into the rom, did Link hit an invisible wall, or did he go through the map at the point where your textures don't show up? -
Well, I guess it's not for everyone then, lol.

You're okay, this is what this thread is for. When you ask a question, then someone else might come along and need an answer as well if they are having the same problems, so I encourage it. As for your problem...are you putting textures on after or before you use the push/pull? I've never attempted to actually use that tool after texturing, so if that's what's going on, use the tool before you texture your map. When you import your map, I'm assuming that's where the textures aren't showing up? If you can, take a screenshot of what you've done (usually there's a prnt scrn button on the keyboard you can use and then upload that up to photobucket) so I can take a look. -
I read it as satire too, which is why I thought it was funny. *shrug* Take it as an actual review and it does suck.

I think Midna would be best mainly because of maturity level. We're also talking about two different types of Links here. There's the child-like Link in WW who's still very much 10 years old (coming of age is to celebrate the Hero of Time's age, which in OOT was ten), and then TP Link who's maybe between 17-20 years old. There's a HUGE difference between maturity levels. Medli deals with the child-like Link, and has more of a "crush" potential instead of "love" potential. Plus, she and Komali already have an established relationship, in the fact that Komali likes her, and I think that she likes him, but is unable to really do anything due to her status as his caretaker. I think Komali's a little younger than her based on his actions during the game. Midna on the other hand has both child-like and adult qualities to her. The imp form of her has a child-type personality that you sort of see shift very rapidly at the end of the game (Must I say spoiler alert? The game has been out for seven years...), when she becomes her true form, she speaks with more authority, especially when you watch the after-credits scene.

Oh lord. ...Midna.
-
Awesome, that's exactly what I want to do, just get it out of a spawned chest after defeating something. Thanks, I appreciate it.
-
They already gave the witches jiggle physics in OOT 3d. I remember saying "thanks, game, REALLY didn't need that".
-
I have no idea. I don't really mind, it just looks really stupid. I also have another question, is there any way to get biggoron's sword before getting giant's knife? I've spawn a chest in Hyrule field that is supposed to have biggoron's sword in it, but it comes out as the giant's knife even though the text says it's biggoron's sword. Is this just a matter of having to go through the item trade, or can I just put a claim check in there and it be okay?

Before clicking on the link I thought you were going to use the Tingle head as a background.

I just ran across this randomly and thought I'd share. I think it's kinda funny. http://kotaku.com/5869411/10-stupid-things-terribly-wrong-with-the-legend-of-zelda-skyward-sword Don't get mad people, they like the game, it's just the over-the-top observations that got me cracking up.

I agree that if you did have some sort of drop down list with actors and such, you would have to show both the name and the number. Also, random side note, there are multiple entries sometimes for what seems like the same things, example: 000A:000E:0800:Treasure Chest (holds compass) 000A:000E:0801:Treasure Chest (holds compass) 000A:000E:080B:Treasure Chest (holds compass) 000A:000E:0820:Treasure Chest (holds dungeon map) 000A:000E:0822:Treasure Chest (holds dungeon map) 000A:000E:0823:Treasure Chest (holds dungeon map) 000A:000E:082C:Treasure Chest (holds dungeon map) Why are there that many? Is this just different variables to use as examples?

I can say confidently as a woman, that if her assets were THAT large, they would NOT be that perky. It is slightly disturbing looking.
