I'll add those notes later on in the tutorial thread so it'll be in one place.

Glad you guys like, I'm struggling to not show off dungeon stuff, but a few things didn't hurt. (off topic-most of those subbed from my husband's channel, bikdiponabus, he's almost hit 15,000, so most credit goes to him getting me that many, otherwise I wouldn't probably have any at all.)

Video Tutorials To Get Started and Master Tool List
giadrosich replied to giadrosich's question in Q & A
I can't get it to work for me either. Petrie wrote a little thing on it in another thread, if you can get it to work, please let me know. I can get everything but the song sequence after playing it to change. -
New trailer revealing some storyline development.

Video Tutorials To Get Started and Master Tool List
giadrosich replied to giadrosich's question in Q & A
I fixed the link, but I do already have a link to Deathbasket's text tool. -
Apparently Microsoft apologized for his behavior, but that was freakin' unacceptable--they hired the man and he thinks this way? He needs to be fired, if I talked to a customer that way working at AT&T, I'd see the door so fast my head would spin. And MS still didn't say whether it was "true" or not.

Geez. I hope this console bombs so hard now because of that.

Thanks for the good luck, guys! I think the interview went well, I had turned in a hand-written resume (don't own a printer) and I'm the only one they've ever considered who's turned in one hand-written. They were looking for someone with familiarity about how the systems are put together, but without experience fixing them. I fell right in the middle, and he said he felt good about me, but he's gonna get back to me. It would start out part-time and they're planning to open up a store specifically for fixing things, and I could have a chance to work up to full time.

I loved the KOTOR games. And Rogue Squadron.

Implementing the Master GUI - INITIAL MOCKUP exe READY!
giadrosich replied to haddockd's topic in Community Projects
This looks cool, are you going to have a tutorial section so people can find tutorials, or is step-by-step going to be included in some sort of readme/window when you load up the program? -
Interesting interview with the music creator of some of the rare games: A lot of talking about balls at the beginning, but something I didn't know was that twelve tales was in production before Kazooie. And apparently the gameplay shift was because of one guy at rare. Nothing about stop n' swap in the video, and there's even a little story about how nuts and bolts came about towards the end of the video.

On a random side note, I scrap a lot of things for parts and always have something laying around the house. Found this gem in a Gyromite copy I got off of ebay for 2 bucks: Famicom to NES converter. I can now play my pirate 84-in-1 games as well as my Minish Cap NES game. Oddly enough, I found the Power-Joy in a goodwill, which was stuck in an N64 controller which had a famicom system in it. http://www.thevintagegamers.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/PJ2.png As for the converter (which is basically a 60-72 pin converter but Nintendo-made) you can usually find it if you look at the colour of ROB in the corner: Random-random side note: Josh's (my husband) brothers were complaining of a controller giving them shocks every now and then, and I went to pick it up and see what I could do to help them out. And then it turns out the controller is in this shape: Yeah, no honey, not fixing that, just get a new one. I don't understand how little kids can cause such terrible things to controllers. I was never that bad with my stuff. It looks like rats chewed on it.

*raises hand* I'm one of those who collects the rare ones and never plays 'em. My pride and joy of my collection is my NFR Majora's Mask cartridge. Gold version though...grey version is too expensive for my blood. I have probably over 20+ games I've not actually played, and just get them because 1) They're cheap 2) I might play them one day. I'm really into getting the games that range from 5-10 dollars, because you can find some nice gems, or get some real crap. I do LP's though as well as stream, so I'm always doing one video on a game just to show it off. And then I never play it again. I suppose I'm weird that way.

I know how you feel, it took me a year to land the telemarketing job. :/ I had 32 bucks left in the bank when I found it--that's panic.
-
I've been taking a leave of absence from my telemarketing job (AT&T Uverse), and have been looking for a new job a while just to have something different. Landed an interview with TNT Games for repair technician, so I'm pretty stoked. They're willing to train on more advanced things too, so I'm hoping to really get this job. No one probably cares, but I had to just sort of be happy about this.

Jeez, does that mean you don't like Zelda music, mzx?

That's sad, I love their music. They aren't going to shut down the website, right?

Ocarina Of Time: Redux (Unfinished Leak)
giadrosich replied to mzxrules's topic in Community Projects
Ooh, I've seen this before a long time back. I expect it would be using glitches like bomb hovering to get places? Or by advanced do you mean just hard wise, not trick wise? -
Progress is good, I took about a week off from it due to trying to get some other things done. I've been trying to get a job at this one place, so hopefully that'll go through. I wish I could show more, but I really don't want to spoil from this point on. I'm also having some people take a look at it in it's current state, and awaiting feedback on that to see if I need to change anything major route-wise. So no worries, it's being worked on.

"Master" GUI application for "all" Zelda modding apps
giadrosich replied to haddockd's topic in Community Projects
There's not a whole lot of people actively modding right now (that I know of) because of lack of help with the tools. How many people do you expect to respond? If they're new, they won't even grasp what you're trying to put together (with some exceptions) and they're the people that need help the most. If you did release it, I would put it into a video tutorial format to help more people use it. Even if a lot of people don't say "oh, want", right now, any sort of helpful tool will be used in the future. I think that if even one person benefits from hard work by other people, it's worth it. Because then you're expanding the community. By putting a fence on this already, you've limited the new people. New people is what we need. I'm constantly advocating newbie friendly tools/tutorials/anything, that way we can get more people in for modding. As I've said before, I'm extremely interested, and now I hope that people who do want to try and mod will see this thread and post in it. -
Legend of Zelda - Hell's Nightmare (Completed!!!)

Nah, it was just an April Fool's Joke. -
Hey, just a little side project I've been working on besides Voyager of Time. Only Kokiri Forest has been changed, but it's complete! All the Kokiri have been cursed to be flames, and Link must break the spell! Watch out for the trials in your way!
