You should just get the biggoron's sword from the chest in Hyrule Field, there's really no need to do the sidequest at that point. I didn't specifically remove it, just figured people would ignore it. You shouldn't be getting the Giant's knife at all, Jason gave me a code that makes that not happen.

It's okay, that's the part that really relies on folks talking to the NPCs, it's not as clear cut as other parts.

Check carefully and read around Lake Hylia, check the signs and talk to the Zoras there.

Check with the Zora's in the area, one of 'em will give you a hint. Make sure to speak with the scientist and check the signs in the area as well. If still having trouble, let me know. Yeah, about the name thing, unfortunately that was an oversight on my part. The text tool uses <link> to put the placeholder name in, but when I did a ctrl f search, I didn't notice the lack of brackets. And I'm thinking my testers used the name Link for their character.

Want to show people this: Easily fixed, this is mentioned in the readme file, but it's good to see a way for it to be avoided without Nocturne.

Reminds me of my husband when he asked me to marry him. We first met on youtube, and he was about to do Majora's Mask. He asked me to co-commentate, as he had found me through TVtropes. We pretty much hit it off right away. So we think of MM as our game. Two years later, he made the two masks from the Anju/Kafei sidequest and surprised me with 'em, asking me to marry him. It was awesome. I like it when people use video games to propose, it shows creativity.

Because a lot of people who would want to live longer is only to avoid the aging process. Which to me, is a type of vanity. Same as makeup. I thought people would make the connection, sorry. Face creams, do this and that to avoid getting old, ect. This to me is the same thing. I don't care about living older, because the world is crappy enough right now, and I can't imagine what it'll be like in 70+ years. Like I say above, when you die you die.

I responded to you, Canada in the other thread. Try my files of Nemu, it has rice in it.

Story. You can have an awesome looking game and have a crap story. And you can have a really crappy looking game with an awesome story. Now, you can have both of course, but if one comes over the other, I'd rather have the story.

I think there's a wind waker hacking thread that has a lot of interesting things in it. I've only skimmed through it, but I think there was some beta collision from a map they found and textured themselves. Not sure what tools, if any, they use though.

Hey, that's cool, if you'd like to contribute to the tutorials on how to do this, that would be awesome. Just showing how the program works and all that. Anyone can contribute to the list, I welcome the help! Just make sure it's newbie friendly, and shows each step carefully. Sounds cool though, and I'm jelly for the everdrive. Gah, so THAT was the issue. We couldn't figure it out. I will update the link in the tutorial thread immediately, I just checked and it's version 0.5 that it leads to. No wonder we couldn't figure it out, I'm using 0.6 myself. I didn't realize there were different versions. Silly me.

I'm not really concerned about aging...you die when you die, I don't put on face cream and all that crap. Hell, I don't even wear makeup, I'm comfortable in my own skin, thank you. No need to cake on a mask. Plus, makeup is EXPENSIVE. And then, people spend all this time staying fit and trim, only to die from like...a car accident or some wierd thing like that. Proof that when it's your time to die, there's no way to avoid it. Not saying eating right and exercise is a bad thing, of course.

Doing things the hard way is so much more fun though! j/k I'll have to see if those work for me later on. I want to try a map for ZB2. >.>
