Whenever I have this problem I find that stretching the texture out larger usually fixes it.

Well to be fair, I didn't actually model the kitchenware (or kitchen bench/bed myself, though I did create the drawers/bookshelf/potted plant myself from scratch). I imported the models from Wind Waker - Link's House into SO, re-sized and re-textured them and made slight edits to cut down the polygon count.

Update: The room is actually starting to shape up nicely. @hannssoni - Nope, that Chest can't be opened. It's placed there to breathe some life into the map.

Mini Dungeon (Transition Test Map) I plan to release a patch and video preview tomorrow. It's really more of a test (first time I've created a multi-room map/used transition actors) then anything so don't expect the puzzles to pose much difficulty.

Thanks to the both of you. I did as you suggested and made a seperate collision map (with all the roofs and other places out of reach removed from it) now the map loads up alot better (it took care of the majority of framerate drops in the map and now I can load up more actors!). :-) No plans to do so at the moment but possibly in the future, thanks for the offer I'll definitely get back to you if I end up giving the Ruined Market a try (I think it would be interesting to collab on a map).

Adult Link Version: No changes to the actual map itself, just the actors.

Thanks for the comments and feedback everyone, really appreciate it and it helps motivate me. :-) Here's a quickly thrown together preview of the Market Town map: I kinda just put this together as a test, I have no plans to recreate any other 2D in-game maps at the moment.

Current W.I.P: Hyrule Market Town More Screenshots: Still need to place the majority of actors, and none of the 'exits' have been set up (in fact the doors are textures rather then actors, due to the map getting major framerate drops and other little problems I encountered - soft locks, etc... ) but for the most part it's done and I'm rather proud of the result :-) I'll post up a video of the map as well when I get around to it.

I'm still playing with the field (well the entire map, really), so nothing's been finalized yet. I want to add bits and pieces (maybe a tent, a cave, etc.) to make the map more interesting. Screenshots:

Preview of my Desert based map (which is still in the very early stages of being created/ having actors, etc. added). In future I plan to have a dungeon/temple inside of the mountain.
