  1. Well there are no mechs but Moribito: Guardian of the Sacred Spirit is a great show with plenty of good action sequences, it's been a while but I think there may even be some magic involved too. Also Evangelion is a great mech show in which most of the fights involve hand to hand robot combat (it's worth dealing with shinji's crap). Hope that helps and that you've haven't seen both of those already.

  2. I think the most interesting thing I've done is get the Ice Arrows as a child. It involves seam walking up that poorly modeled hill at the entrance of the Gerudo race track, then mega-flipping towards the training ground entrance. If you do it right some of the walls won't load up right when you land (or w/e technically happens in game IDK) and you can fall into the entrance of the training ground. Once inside all you have to do is Vine Clip through the climbable wall inside the Ice arrows room with a bombchu or bomb, grab the arrows, and clip back out (or just save and reset if you run out of explosives). Having Ice arrows for all the adult temples is a lot of fun, especially in the fire temple :D

  3. Indeed, I think I was the perfect test subject for your tutorial because I knew nothing before watching it and this is an easy trap for a noobie to fall into, I'm glad it's all getting written down lol.

  4. So when I try to export a custom wavefront .obj from Sketchup.pro it always looks like this in sharp ocarina:

    If I just export a flat square everything is fine, but if I use the push/pull tool at all it shows up like the first picture. I made sure to reverse faces and use the same .obj for mesh and collision, I even asked a few people and watched Giadrosich's tutorial, does anyone have an idea of what's going wrong? I'm pretty new to modding so it could be something easy, but I've been stuck on this for a while now.

  5. Same thing as Heavy, crashed just as I'm making out the silhouette of a pack of dogs surrounding some poor guard. Hadn't saved at all either, heads up if you read this. Other than that everything's good on the Everdrive and Nemu for me.

  6. Mellow, I'd really like to see the same Termina we grew to love in MM, but with changes to it (obviously since it would be in the distant past). I got the vibe that was the direction you were headed before thinking of creating a new story. My vote is to keep it a Zelda story, possibly showing the history of Termina, the Fierce Diety, and Majora's Mask. I had speculated something about seeing the connection between Majora and the Deity and the creation of Majora's and Deity's mask's and it seemed "the powers that be smiled upon me" or something like that lol, I hope they're still smiling.

  7. @Setzer Everything works great on Nemu08 for me, even on my dad's admittedly less bad-ass pc. You sure your setting's were all set up right? I think (just my humble opinion) Nemu is your best bet.

  8. Well I never got Zelda's Birthday to work on the ED64 either so don't feel bad. I don't know if you have to do something to make it work, I haven't been able to find any info on getting hacks to work on flash carts, but if anyone reads this that knows how to get this or Zelda's b-day to work on a flash cart please let me know.

  9. I've been visiting GCN for about a year now and I have no idea how this slipped under my nose.

     

    Same here (but not a year) and I can't believe I missed this I must be blind, how lucky for me though that I discovered Voyager so close to it's release, still gonna be a long couple days haha. Any way I can't wait to play this, congrats.

  10. @Secant Yes, I think I am, I'm trying to follow Giadrosich's Tut. which instructs me to build the model I want then export 3d model using google sketchup, is that what you mean by the plugin I'm using? Also I load the model and then add a room using the same .obj file in SO.

     

    @Giadrosich I was wondering if it wasn't being exported properly myself as I only run into this problem after I export, like you said in sketchup the model seems to be fine, I'm going to try a different exporter I suppose, anyone have suggestions of a different one I can try that will still work with this wonderful tutorial?

     

    P.S. Please Giadrosich, it's quite alright you don't know the solution right away I'm grateful that anyone is even taking time out of their day to help me.

    are there any other options than reverse faces? because that's what I've been using. I even tried building the entire model and then reversing faces, doesn't make a difference.
