I can't wait for this to be finished. I'm actually looking forward to just going in and wondering through the dungeon. I would like to ask, since the rest of the world will be believing it is real, is there a chance that we may do a "Restoration" of the temple later down the road? If any one of you guys don't want to do it, I would definitely be game for "restoring" the puzzles, and actors. With all of your permission of course. I would totally understand if that's something you guys want to do yourselves though.

Well the beta rooms in the debug have no music so I say Secants idea is probably best for that in terms of believability. Less cool, but more believable.
-
Ah ok lol I thought it was the other SoundCloud page you have for it.
-
Well I didn't want to share that until a little later because I didn't want people to think we were going to use all of those songs in the game... but Helyxx did work hard on what he has done. Right now I'm only sure that we are going to use the Ending Credits Part 1 and combine it with the other parts later for the ending. The trumpet in the Lost Woods had been changed to an Arco, but I think that I might keep the Lost Woods music the same as it was before in the game. Simply because I forgot about the part when you play Duarnia Saria's song, and then it plays whatever song is set for the Lost Woods.

I've gotten a music artist to work on songs for Project Rebith! he is the official composer for any songs that I might not have gotten off the internet and he will be credited for each one individually that he does so that there is no confusion, and plus ya know credit needs to be given where it's due He is DJ Helyxx, he's a member of the GCN, and he has already been working on the project with me for a little while now. I decided not to show off any WIP's that he has and any other stuff that might go into the project until later, but you can look forward to it soon. Here is his SoundCloud separate from Project Rebirth. https://soundcloud.com/helyxx

That's cool. I slightly feel like I've had a part in something big now haha and yes to correct graphics rendering -
It doesn't matter if you're a beginner at modding as long as you're passionate enough you will get through all of the headaches and frustration to see your idea become a reality. I had no experience other than replacing music when I had first said I was going to start my project, and I've learned some pretty complex stuff in a short amount of time along with being able to do more than I set out too in the first place. Go for it man, you may want to give up at some points but heck you've already started a thread. Hopefully the support from everyone here could help you get through it.

I think you're a cool guy and all Jason so don't think anything wrong when I say I Lol'd at the thought of someone actually busting you out over some youtube comments or something, and what you might think at that moment hahaha. Like all of those unlikely things happened.

Yeah I have no idea if we should make it a half or full dungeon haha.. I say half would be more believable, but then there's that side of me that wants to play a new epic dungeon. As for including out dated text I don't know.. depends when would the dungeon have been taken out of the game in the stages of development? Did they decide to take it out because there wasn't enough room to do the final animation scenes and all of that jazz in the game perhaps?

Nah you didn't come off that way to me and cool

You have a point Spire, but as I recall didn't most experienced hackers know off hand that the whole Ben thing was a hoax? I mean I wasn't a hacker then and me not being superstitious just took it as fake anyways. Regardless it gained popularity like wildfire.

I like your idea but since you're asking.. what about different sword in a hidden temple? Like a sword modeled from the box art of either ALTTP, or Zelda 2? maybe even some other sword from one of the games earlier in the franchise.

I feel you on that man. Looking forward to your next update

Haha yeah it has definitely been a pain trying to use other programs. I'll never go back to Emachines again. -
This sounds awesome. I can contribute with the comments and if you don't feel like making the puzzles and placing actors then I could do that too. I gotta say I've gotten much better at making dungeons since the Deku Tree in my project, I was pretty limited before. Edit: Oh yeah or I could do the music

Ah ok I unchecked it and the graphics are rendering just fine now. Thank you xdaniel, I've been looking forward to using this for a while now! -
I know Ronin Warriors is as cheesy as it gets in English, I have hope that the original Japanese dialogue is not as bad, I thought the show was awesome when I was 10yrs old and it showed on Toonami. Then again I'm that guy who would watch a Power Rangers movie if they some how made it with with good effects, and more thought out story/dialogue.... less corny embarrassing "Auughhrrrrrr" or "AAUUGHHHH!!!!" sounds lol

What Nestrac posted should help, I started hacking OoT only a few months ago and I can say that the link he provided will really help. There are video tutorials for most things you will want to learn to use on that page. What Rinku had suggested is good too as those programs are easy to use for people with little to no experience hacking the OoT debug rom. Try it out, then come back with more questions if you have them.

The computer is a EL1852G-52W and the graphics card like everything else is stock and it's an Intel GMA X4500HD graphics card that is integrated.. and no I didn't get this computer for gaming on a side note. All of the other information about it can be found here http://www.meetgadget.com/gadget/53162/eMachines+EL1852G-52w -

Well ever since I started using this Emachines computer DeathBaskets InstEd won't work and now this with SceneNavi.. forgive me if I was supposed to download something else other than what was in the download for the latest version. There's a ton of new stuff on this and I won't be able to read mostly every post about the program until tomorrow.. I've been away from the GCN for a couple of weeks and there's a ton of stuff I'm not up to date with just yet all over the GCN. There's some textures it loads in other scenes but not many. -
(ZAO-ADD) Z64 Automated Actor and Object Adder
HeavyZ replied to Jason777's topic in Community Projects
Well I haven't used it yet. I decided to download it again on the computer now that I have internet up and running on it. It seems as though other programs I was using for my project got corrupted, or didn't get transferred with all of their needed files.. idk so I deleted ZAO-ADD and tried downloading it again and now the download link is no longer working for me.. Edited: Sorry, I went back to attempt the download again and it worked! I guess it didn't before because my broadband was being sucked dry from the wifi in another room. I'll post if I have any trouble with it. -
Yeah honestly I can't say how long it would take me to even finish my project, I keep learning new things, or get idea's so I have to learn how to do new things and the project just keeps getting bigger. So if you would like I could just do the music, song by song. I wouldn't even need your rom I would just use a clean debug rom and port music into it with the InstEd. That way once I'm finished with each song it will be ready to port into your rom, because I would have already mapped out the instrument sets for each track, and ect. If I do that it would probably take me only 20mins to port every song into your rom by the time you get it to me. If you still want to do that of course though. I am interested if you want the songs to sound different, or exactly like they did in ALTTP?

I only have internet on my phone atm but I'll be downloading this on it's SD to copy onto the computer haha -
Just updating to let everyone know I'm still working on the project. I'm learning how to port maps and other things so there will be some nice extra side quest not related to the story at all.

Thanks, Jason777 shared the link for it a while back. I kinda sorta know how to find speed values in an actors assembly, though not fully. So this thread can be about either how to find an actors speed value in hex, or assembly, or just posts of more speed values. I'll see if I can learn more on how to find speed values in assembly before I post what I know about it.
