I admit it, I like the Beastie Boys. Also Here's some Brand New for ya
-
That is beast. You can get ones that had the look with less designs it originally had in FF7 on ebay. I'd much rather have that one though.

I have no idea what they really are, I just want to actually be able to use the program in that video, or use one that's more simple.

Eh, the SEGA Saturn was out at the same time as them, so it was three. Anyways, I agree with the other points in your post; "gimmicks" can be great. Unless it's Kinect... so horrible. Oh yeah, I forgot about the saturn. Mostly because I never owned one, but I shall some day. I haven't reseached Kinect that much so I can't really say, but I'd assume your statement is right because I haven't heard anyone talking about how good it is... well other than middle aged parents who don't generally play video games.

For the most part yes, when it comes to making switches, and dropped chest that's another story. If theirs a switch that drops a chest in a room I can change the contents of the chest, and in some cases the type of switch. Sometimes even if I change the 0 end vairable number to a 2 the switch remains a floor switch. If I try to copy a switch and chest into another room it will not work, even if I do not edit the vairables. I tried the same method for doing math for the doors and switches, but I ran into the problem that I cannot add more than one "0" into the calculater if I want to put in 000A or whatever in for example.

Yeah I tried using the Majora's Mask wad and when I tried to make the new wad channel it said "error file is too large to inject into wad" Maybe if I compress the rom? How would I even do that? Edited: Well I found out that spinout had made a way to compress the debug rom, and others, but the download seems to be missing files it needs. mips64-gcc.exe (can't even find this one, I've searched Filecrop and everything) liblzo2 and there was something said about this -> MinGW Personally I think the process of doing this would be overly complicated. I see Spinout in the video editing a bunch of junk.. I wish I could just drag, and drop, or do it some other way.

I'm going to try it out later, and see if it will work for the OoT Debug. I'll edit this post with the results.

I remeber a time when all we had only two new home consoles made available to us. The N64 and PSone. Dreamcast did not come out until 1999 for everwhere, 98 for Japan. The PSone, or Playstation as it was first called was out for the longest time first. I say we forget about Xbox, they killed themselves, all we can do is warn fellow gamers from wasting money. The death of Xbox will bring even more games to company's we've loved for generations, Playstation, and Nintendo. I can see a new console coming out maybe three, or four years down the line as well. If not then towards the end of the newer gen consoles life time. As for gimicks.. those "Gimicks" have produced good games. Who here thought it was badass to actually control Link's sword by hand movement? What about Red Steel 2 for Wii? Wii Sports, Sin and Punishment: Star Succesor. These "gimicks" are just not being used to their full potential. I would have actually liked to see an eight ball pool game for wii. I don't know how good, or bad that Dragon ball Z game was for Kinect, but I know it could be really awesome. Either way Xbox is dead, and other consoles will get even more games instead. The days of Exclusive Xbox games will only be a memory a little while after Xbox one's release.

Oh snap, I may look into combining the hacks myself, and making it real hardware compatible after I'm done with my project. Of course I would need help from Spinout, and someone who is willing to do the Assembly part. I would throw in some multiplayer puzzles, and make it a whole new hack. Could someone provide a source for cens split screen hack?

A preview of the Deku Tree Dungeon. First time messing with the program I recorded, and edited this with. Next time the quality of the video, and audio will be better. Thanks to Three_Pendants, Jason777, Airikita, and Gaidrosich for all the help when I had trouble with the project.

No not magic. This -> http://wehackwii.pbworks.com/w/page/24038247/How%20To%20Inject%20Roms%20Into%20Wads I just had to search the right thing.. a few words in the wrong order, or an extra uneeded one, and google decides it doesn't like me.

How would I make a Wii wad channel for an N64 game? I seen that Skelux has done it for some of his Super Mario 64 hacks
-
A four swords style hack could be made, though it would be more reasonable to make it for online gaming.
-
Yeah that does bring to mind the first dungeon in the dark world of A Link to the Past, and whichever dungeon.. 2, or 3? the one with the long steps in Zelda 1. At least now that you've mentioned that it does. After I'm done with my project I hope to learn how to use sketchup and everything. Awesome stuff man

My bad about before Mellow. I really don't care. You're getting really defensive. I didn't want it to be an "Argument" I would have rather it have been a civil debate. If you're going to get mad then I won't reply any further to you EDIT: I was here. Plus, I merged your posts. <3 ~ To Coool

I don't really care if I can find it cheaper online. They still sell games for cheap, and even if it is a little more, I enjoy the convenience of getting my games right away for what is still a good price.Sent from my cell phone, because ancient satellites from across the cosmic web are lame. 40$ or more for a 5 year old used Wii game is not a good price (Smash bros. Brawl). The convience is nice for sure though.. I will give credit where credit is due and say their pre-order specials are the bomb because you get stuff you couldn't anywhere else, but that's the only positive stuff I have to say. I think their used Gamecube controllers were like 15$, or 20$. Which is crazy because I can get a Gamecube for 30$ with a controller. I haven't been their in about 5 months, but I needed a gamecube memory card is why I went. If you could find other smaller game store corportaions around town I would use those. We had one around here that looked at prices online to figure what they would set theirs
-
The quality of their products, or their customer service is not what I was talking about, it's their prices. Give me a Gamestop price for any game and I guarantee you I can find one online cheaper. Of course you would have to mention if it came with case, manual and ect. That way I would look for something that came with the same things, or more.

You don't have to necessarily be rich to buy mainly new games, but you would never be able to buy as many. I make sure when I buy games online that I read what condition it is. All of my stuff might as well be new. Even my Nes and my Snes look new and all of the games for them. I got manuals boxes and everything. I know the right website to go to get things though. Zelda OoT collectors edition with box and manual, no creases in the box, or worn out edges. 80$ value at the least here in the states, and I got it for 30$ it even came with a nice little protector case for the box. Gamestop can die for all I care, 40 cents for a 15$ or 20$ game.. pshh whatever, 40$ used Smash bros Brawl. I might as well buy that new if I shop their. Get stuff online, sell it online. That's my advice. Get it used, just make sure to read the description. Like Griadosich I only buy Zelda games new, and that's because I wouldn't want to wait to play the latest installment in the series. Player's choice is fine, but if you collect then you want the original version.. unless it's one of the re-releases that have new features and extra stuff. I made a bad decision getting the original version of Devil May Cry 3 instead of the players choice which has extra stuff..
-
Screw Microsoft. Screw them in the ear, I rarely, RARELY ever buy new video games. I mean I always make sure the ones I do get are in good condition.. I am a collector after all. My interentet went out for a few hours yesterday, it wasn't my router, or anything. I had to wait hours to get back online, and you know what I did? I played video games.

That's too dangerous! a nasty bacteria could be floating in the air, land on your tongue and rot your mouth. I'm going to play guitar

That's too dangerous! I seen her cheating on her boyfriend already with a guy who has aids coupled with a bad case of syphilis. I'm going to count from 1 to 100 in my head

Thanks, and sorry for the late reply I was just going back and looking to see if I could make more since of things looking at both Queen Gohma and the Dodongo in assembly. Understanding registers and opcodes sounds simple enough. As long as it's explained in a way I can understand, and yeah it's a regular Dodongo. So I know so far that unless it's an actor with their health set outside of the actor I can found the actual value for the health. One thing I don't know is that if the contents of T5 are at 175 from the base offset in register s0, how would I find the base offset of register s0? In Queen Gohma's case I tried to find it in the hex editor by searching for all of the surrounding numbers that looked like offsets. I even tried searching without the last 2 digits in the numbers, so I know that's not how.

In this thread look at what Jason777 was talking about... maybe it has something to do with it? https://www.the-gcn.com/topic/1932-romram-documentationhelp/ Also this is how to find the 0A health value for Queen Gohma https://www.the-gcn.com/topic/2343-help-editing-gohma/ I couldn't use the same method to find a regular Dodongo's health as used in there.. I think you may only be able to search up Gohma's health that way. I'm no pro so I wouldn't say that for sure... I will go back and see if I did something wrong when searching. Edited: I should also say that here is a list of health values for enemies. http://glitchkill.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=ootmod&thread=4766&page=1#42781 and here for mostly Queen Gohma's speed values http://glitchkill.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ootmod&action=display&thread=4766&page=5 Edited.. again: I was wrong.. or I think I was.. I just had to click next a few more times to find the dodongos health when searching for 175 Not sure because this is what I was looking at for Queen Gohma li t7,10 li t8,255 sb t7,175(s0) sb t8,174(s0) addiu a1,s0,1980 sw a1,68($sp) And here is what I was looking at for Dodongo's li t5,4 li t6,254 addiu t7,t7,%lo(data_809FA9DC) sb t5,175(s0) sb t6,174(s0) sw t7,152(s0)
