  1. Interesting fact about the dub of Trigun. The guy who voices him in the English version played the second black power ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
  2. Got half life 1 for the original xbox. Seen it for 2.50$ US plus 3.50$ shipping. Condition described as "Very good" and when it came in the mail the condition was garbage. The cover art was all jacked up along with the game case. The disk itself was in good condition, but it inside the case with the game Mountain Dew had been apparently spilt all inside. The low life who lied to get 5$ US dollars was too lazy to clean the Mountain Dew he spilled in it. So I'm officially never buying anything used from anywhere other than Ebay, because I actually want to see the item I'm buying before I purchase it. Plus you don't have to worry about shitting credit/debit card fees with Paypal
  3. The night bgm uses a different audio type apparently. You might have to insert new music for night with the N64 sound tool? I'm not sure. https://www.the-gcn.com/topic/2471-the-beginners-guide-to-music-antiqua-teasers/ Since I can't see the post number I'll just copy and past some info from the link above. So, I wanted to change the music in the Lost Woods without changing the Lost Woods song that Darunia dances too. After mentioning something about it to Spire he pointed me in SanguinettieMods direction, and SanguinettieMods said this. "Replace a different sequence and change the sequence that plays in the lost woods. You change that by editing the Lost Wood's scene file. In the Scene's header, look for a 0x15 command. The format for that is 15xx0000 0000yyzz where x = reverb y = music playback option, 0x13 = always playing z = track to play" And that's pretty much it. By doing that you can do something like give Lake Hylia a different song without changing Hyrule Fields. Here's a quote from Strati's post: Just to complement this info, the yy above referred as "music playback" option stands for the scene's night bgm. The night bgm uses a different audio type, that plays nature sounds. A setting of 0x00 is found into scenes with the complete day-night cycle and will play the standard night noises. The 0x13 setting is found in dungeons and indoors, so the music will be always playing, independent of the time of the day. 01 - Standard night [Kakariko] 02 - Distant storm [Graveyard] 03 - Howling wind and cawing [Ganon's Castle] 04 - Wind + night birds [Kokiri] 05, 08, 09, 0D, 0E, 10, 12 - Wind + crickets 06,0C - Wind 07 - Howling wind 0A - Tubed howling wind [Wasteland] 0B - Tubed howling wind [Colossus] 0F - Wind + birds 14, 16, 18, 19, 1B, 1E - silence 1C - Rain 17, 1A, 1D, 1F - high tubed wind + rain
  4. Not the biggest Emenim fan but I do like a lot of his old school stuff. Still He kills this song, favorite rap as of now, and best emeinem song since the old school days http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbGs_qK2PQA
  5. It works on hardware like it should!! Edit: I won't be able to test tomorrow due to lightning storms
  6. That's awesome news! and do you already have any plans for Sharp Ocarina, or anything regarding custom maps in future? I could always test collision!
  7. Yeah it's identical to the screenshot you posted and doing what it should be. My phone no longer has service for a while, and is not recognized by my PC or I would post more pics Edit: Although if you would really like pics now or sometime before I get my service back on I could always go down the street to my fathers and use his Iphone
  8. Going to test those patches soon xdan I gotta run somewhere and I'll be back in literally about 12mins, then I'll get straight to testing! edit: On patch 7 the model seems is a semi white clearish? square has the model inside it, and the model is white now too with no textures. I can walk through both the big square and the model, although I could walk through the model before. Ptach 8 has the textures the big square that has the model inside is now orange and clearish, and the model has its textures again
  9. I think it would be an awesome game it's just a matter of what kinda games you like
  10. It's cool man. After seeing one of Tommy!'s post I think I can manually fix the problem in hex for now, though I haven't yet tried it. If you find the source eventually it would be very helpful, I was thinking about seeing if Flotonic (once he's not busy) or Airikita (if she's really interested) would look into it if I got something for them to work with
  11. DeathBasket is right, you're using Reaper you said didn't you Tommy!? You can open up the all the notes for a piccolo on reaper to display how they would be played on Piano, then you can select every note then drag it down. I usually drag it to where it looks like it's in the same spot just on a lower part of the keys, that's how I did my New Kokiri Village song.
  12. Well the guy can literally pack more things than a semi truck without being effected. He's like the Walmart of kill when you think about dat inventory
  13. Oh I didn't know what that sketchup 8 file was until I opened it in sketchup, my bad haha. I thought it was something for more testing at first.
  14. Probably not, he seems pretty busy with all of his other projects like Izou, and some other stuff from what he's told me he's got his hands full for the time being. @Cloudmax, if you see this then if you would send a few patches so I could test to see if your Menu Editor works for hardware I will totally do it. I'm a little busy to actually use the program myself then test, but just patching a few roms and testing them wouldn't be time consuming at all
  15. You can force NTSC to PAL video and vice versa with the ED64, although I've noticed that forcing PAL to NTSC doesn't work on my cart there are programs that you can use to actually change the video I used it to change the N64 40 Winks from Pal to NTSC. I couldn't tell you what program I used now it's been a long time since. All of your tools worked for N64 hardware too DeathBasket. The main things that didn't work were custom maps/models, and we just got our first N64 compatible custom map last night. All of Jason777's, SoD's and JSA's programs kept the roms hardware comptible too. Nearly all of xdans programs kept roms hardware compatible, the only things that didn't were sharp ocarina and some converter, but since we've been working on hardware compatibility that won't be a problem any longer. The only ones that might not work now are Flotonics Hylian Toolbox, and Cloudmax's OoT/MM menu editor, although I cannot say becuase I have not tested any roms that were edited by those two programs. Mainly we just have custom enemy's/animations in question now. Off topic: I was hoping I would see you on soon anyways, I was going to ask if I could get all the notes, and info I could on the InstEd, and possibly an open source version of the program? I have a friend or two who just might look into that little problem it was giving me, and they just might fix it.
  16. I actually don't even have Sketchup yet lol I used too on my old PC, and I still have Sharp Ocarina. I'll go to the Master tools and tutorials thread to refresh myself on how to do that so I can run the tests for that Sketchup 8 file. I ended up not going to work today becuase my alarm clock was just not effective, and I'm still sick, so I can test out some things earlier than usual
  17. I'm pretty stoked as well! Now we will have hardware compatible maps, and maybe models too!
  18. I'll test it now and edit soon edit: DUDE YOU DID IT! It works I'm walking around in the map now!
  19. Most of the time I've been a member here at The-GCN I've used only photo's of Yusuke' Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho. When I was younger I was always more of the black sheep, labled a delinquent for skipping school, doing whatever I wanted, and I hated adults who thought they had authority over me. I gotten into at least 4 fights during High School, and although I seemed like a bad person I always felt that I was pretty much the opposite. I did what I felt was right. In short I used to relate to the charcter, and still kinda do.
  20. About to test patch 5, I would have already tested a few hours ago if I wasn't super sick with the flu.. It's 6:17 PM my time as I'm posting this, so keep in mind that on the weekdays I won't be able to test until usaually about after 4 PM although Arcaith if you're not too busy to split the hardware testing with me on this then that's cool, just so xdan doesn't have to wait until later into the night his time until I'm back with results. Be ready to check back in about 10mins for an edit to see how the patch works on hardware Edit: patch 5 had the same results as patch's 3, and 4
  21. Alright, I'll be ready to test next time I see there is something to run! I couldn't find the room that I thought I remembered doing that already in the debug, maybe I was just over thinking or something remembering that room 120 didn't work unless a patch was used.
  22. Lol lots of edits in my last post as well. Didn't see you commented or I would have posted a whole new post so you'd know I had the results. This was my last edit in my last post: tried patch 4 out, the result was the same as with the 3rd patch. I've found out that if I barely (big emphasis on BARELY) press down on reset it will actually stay on screen even though it's still crashed. Why is that I wonder? Edit, xdan I think you fixed the textures with patch 3, the problem is no longer the texures with that correction, I think it could be the scene header that is wrong now? I can't remember which map, but there was one that did the same thing on hardware, I can look to see which one it was
  23. 0:11 - 0:12 you can see the map sorry I have the worst cell phone in history and the video quality is so poor. It's a T-mobile 2005? 04? sliding phone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-l2Tzxtp4Y&feature=youtu.be Edit: and yeah definitely a good sign I'd say, never got so much as a glimpse at a custom map on hardware before even if it was for a split second Edit 2: gonna try out patch 4 now Edit 3: tried patch 4 out, the result was the same as with the 3rd patch. I've found out that if I barely (big emphasis on BARELY) press down on reset it will actually stay on screen even though it's still crashed. Why is that I wonder?
  24. You definitely made progress with the 3rd patch, but how much I don't know... The game still crashed as soon as I selected it, but when I hit reset (ED64 only saves if you hit reset before powering off console so I'm used to always hitting reset) the map/model or whatever was shown. I actually seen the model/map on hardware! edited: oops forgot to just edit my last post sorry, and trying to send the video I recorded to my email so I can upload it to show the picture of the map, it just flashes when I hit reset so it's extremely difficult to just take a single snap shot of it
