  1. The thought of that actually crossed my mind, it would be cool, and I would be down. Victory Fanfare for when the boss is defeated wouldn't sound so bad.
  2. Not a very ambitious project at all, but it would be awesome none the less. Still need people, I guess I could do the actor noise replacements too. In all honesty I'm a really lazy hacker, unless I'm in the right mood, so the less I gotta do the better.
  3. Lol, I'd like to port a midi of that song into the Honey and Dariling mini game shop in MM, ahahah. I just might do it for the lulz. Anyways, here's the new Kokiri Forest song. I like it, but I thought I could have made it better, after hours on end of fooling with it I figured this was as good as it was getting. I lowered the tempo of the song, and lowered the notes for the flute so it would sound right in game. Cuting and pasting for a good loop is almost always mandatory, as it was with this song.
  4. Thanks man, and I don't even know what it is. I downloaded the song off another Youtube video, haha.
  5. Trailer for the demo release. I'll be uploading a few more videos in about an hour. I'm probably the first person to release a Zelda mod video with music that wasn't from the Legenf of Zelda Series, lol.
  6. I'd like to get a team together to turn all of the horses, and Epona into Chocobos. I could edit all of the text to fit it for Chocobos, and I could port over the the Lon Lon Ranch Epona song into the Chocobo Ranch theme song from FF7, and I could also change the Ocarina Epona's song into the Chocobo song. I'm sure we can use Epona's Actor data for the Chocobo you can ride, I'm not sure if her animation data is in her actor, or object though. Also I would like to replace the race song with the Chocobo Race theme from FF7. New ranch song The race with Ingo song I need someone who can make two chocobo models. One for Epona, and one for the rest of the horses. If the same person who does the models cannot change the object animations for the new Chocobos then we need someone to do that. Lastly someone who can edit Epona's sounds into Chocobo's. Maybe even change the carrots into greens? I don't know, they eat greens in FF7, but they also eat carrots in FF11. Other songs I could replace are: The "Across the Finish Line" song replaced with the Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare The "Ingo looses" song... Suggestions? and maybe even the "Got Epona" song with another Fanfare from Final Fantasy The final goal is to keep this thing N64 hardware compatible, I have an N64 flash cart that I can test everything on. Don't make me learn a whole bunch of new things just to make this happen, let's get a team going!
  7. Hope you get well. Your work has no doubt inspired and helped us all with our own Zelda mods. I wish you the best of luck
  8. I'm definitely going to check this out. I hope it keeps the ROM compatible with back up device after using the program on it. My only question is what OoT ROM are you going to make the other editor for? Debug, or NTSC regular ROM?
  9. ooohh god, I've lost a fingernail before. Just thinking about how it feels *shudders*
  10. I doubt I could remember half the time I've gotten hurt there are so many. One indecent that comes to mind is when I was cutting black tape that was holding separate cords for my Gamecube together (I think I was 12 then.. maybe 13) I don't know why, but my mother had decided to use a lot of tape when she had taped up the cords, so I had to use extra force to cut it efficiently. I forget how exactly my hands were positioned, but I remember I was pressing hard against the tape with a steak knife I was using and when the tape cut, I stabbed myself between my index finger and my thumb. The blade went an entire inch maybe a little over, into my hand it happened so fast that I pulled the blade out as nearly as fast as it went in. When the knife came out so did a piece of meat that was still connected to me. I was young, so yeah I was on the verge of crying. So after I got finished screaming curse words, and speed walking around the house, I layed my hand flat against the counter and cut the meat off, and waited for my mom to get home as I suffered some of the worst pain I've ever felt. Another time I was skateboarding going down a steep road when I hit a pebble that was just a little too big. I guess cause I was going so fast it made it easier to throw me off. I broke my arm pretty close to my wrist. That wasn't nearly as painful as when I had accidentally stabbed myself.
  11. The Magic sword from Zelda 2, it's the most under rated sword in the Zelda series despite how awesome it looks, you should replace the Apocalypse with it. Fierce Deity Sword should be the Ragnarok, if not the Ultima considering it is stronger than the Great Fairy Sword. The Tempered or (Golden Sword) Master Sword from ALTTP should be Heavens Cloud. Followed by the Biggoron Sword for the Yoshiyuki. The reason I say those should be what they are is because of what I consider the strength of each sword in Zelda, and the strength of the swords in FF7 to be. The Darknuts sword from Wind Waker would be cool, as well as the Golden Sword from MM.
  12. Yeah, I haven't played the VC version, but I do agree it looks just like an official release from back in the day. Zoinkity has said he wanted to do Bangaioh as well, but he needs someone to help him translate
  13. I dunno if it's against the rules here to do that or not. I can tell you that looking up "Tsumi to Batsu Z64" or "Tsumi to Batsu - Hoshi no Keishousha Z64" might help
  14. Thanks man! I got it to work. At first I tried just typing the name of the rom instead of dragging and dropping like I normally do when it ask for the rom. That didn't work and it was on the Desktop. So I moved it into the same folder that ZOA-ADD is located in and typed the name and it worked That one room not working is no big deal either. I've already done plenty to it before.
  15. Zoinkity just finished making this English translation patch for Sin and Punishment N64 and posted it on AssemblerGames. I'm about to patch this thing up myself and check it out. Here's the download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2szbq8utgxe0srv/NGUE.zip There is another, but I can't get it to work for me. Here's the thread about it: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?47187-Sin-and-Punishment-and-other-jap-only-titels-translation Here's what Zoinkity said after he posted it. You might want to read it if you plan on downloading the patch.
  16. I tried it on an ealier version back up of the rom named Reb.Z64 I think it happened when I last added actors, or groups in either the Deku Tree, or the Lost Woods. I also found something weird using ZAP2. I don't have time now, but I'll post a pic of that later, or edit this post with it. Edited: Here's what I was talking about with ZAP2. Another side note is that I changed two actors in SayakaGL in that same room, but they don't even show up on ZAP2, and when I add their object groups they still do not show up. I decided to use the puzzle I was going for in a different room using ZAP2 and it worked. No other rooms that I've checked so far seem to show weird stuff like that in ZAP2, so the problem might be in that room. #2
  17. If you put Link in their you have to turn the phoenix down, or revive animation into a fairy reviving whoever, and change the names of whatever items or spells appropriately to it. Hell I'd really like to see everything become Zelda related in the game just for shits and giggles. Also I'd like to see a Chain Chomp from either the Mario series, or Links Awakening.
  18. I don't know why, but I seem to have turned into that "guy" who just runs into any technical issue possible. I don't have a clue as to why, or what I could have done to make the program no longer work on my rom. If you're willing to look at it I can send you my rom, or a patch of my rom. If not it's no problem right now, I know you're probably busy with college. I should be able to work around the problem with ZAP2, and I shouldn't need to use it for the demo mod I'll be releasing, but whenever I decide to do work for the full hack version I'll be out of luck as things are now.
  19. That's pretty awesome, I remember seeing him on G4TV when I was a much younger teenager. Looking forward to that video too, I'm interested to hear what his response was lol.
  20. Thanks, I'm pretty close to releasing the demo mod. I got set back by a few songs I ported into the game, I had to go through a few for each area just deciding what I wanted. Edited the pitch and dropped a few scales for songs that used flutes, then I lowered the tempo on some, and made them loop better. Had to fix a room in the dungeon, and after testing my dungeon I found out that one room was screwed up for an unknown reason. So I gotta fix that, port one song, and do the text, which the text will take me a while, because I want it to be the best it can be.
  21. Don't give up xdan. People all over could be using it to make awesome new SF64 games I can put on my N64 flash cart. I want new SF64 hacks!
  22. Yeah, or a race track/map maker for Mario Kart 64? :3
  23. We need to get a list going of other forums for modding other games. Like these for example: Goldeneye/Perfect Dark modding community http://www.shootersforever.com/forums_message_boards/ SMW - SM64 hacking community http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=viewforum&f=64 I also second what Conker is saying, I would love to have a new SSB64 rom with new levels and characters.
  24. No problem man, if you need anymore help just PM me, and thanks.
  25. I think it's cool. It's way too big though, I wouldn't worry about the texture of the water, OoT's water may look more realistic, but who cares when you are making an N64 version of an Snes game. The trees around where you start off feel out of place. I would model new trees like the ones in ALTTP.Yeah grass textures need work, and the flow of the water was annoying when I tried to swim back to land.
