I'm honestly not surprised it's garnered such a fortune in so little time. It's a spiritual successor of Mega Man, I'm surprised it hasn't gotten $10,000,000 yet.

I never ran around screaming about how much progress was being made. In fact, I've been pretty clear that progress has been fucking slow.

Recently I picked up Portugal. The Man's album "Evil Friends" on Vinyl. It's been in my record player for the past three weeks.

While its true that you may think those are invalid reasons, this is not a project being done out of the goodness of our hearts. Its something we are doing because we enjoy it. And it is not a priority above college, relationships, etc. It's a hobby. So valid excuses really aren't needed. And on the topic of our realistic goals versus our possible goals, this is coming from team members that left months ago. Since then, we have rethought our approach, and those concerns are rendered invalid, because no one but current team members really know what our goals are. So if we could please stop the discussion of why so and so left, that would be great, because to be blunt, those concerns are no longer valid. And on the subject of promises and generally leading the public on, also invalid. I've promised nothing beyond promising that nothing would be promised. I'm not leading anyone along, and no one seemed to give a rat's ass about this project until the thread was revived, anyways.

The game is not by any means being done within the Majora's Mask engine. We moved to the Ocarina of Time engine long ago.

Fall of Antiqua is the official name of the game. We've gone from a code name, to a full name. That's it. Progress is slow and no promises are being made, but we are alive, yes. Nothing has been cancelled, and much has been planned. Calm yourselves.

When a new member is introducing themselves, it just seems to me that the best course of action is to welcome them, or simply ignore the thread. He means gyroscope as in the fact that certain games require to move your 3DS around to aim at things, which destroys the 3D effect.

I am in agreement with Branden. The only mistake here is the name. It's cheaper and without the 3D. It's not competition for their own product, its just an alternative for people who don't want to pay for something they aren't gonna use. If people get confused by the name, though, maybe they should do a little bit of reading what a system is before shelling out the money for it, much less shop for it. I don't think dumb should be catered to. Just my two cents.
