  1. I think it looks pretty good so far, just need to smooth the edges a little bit once you're done putting everything in place, if you aren't already. Other than the jagged edges, it looks awesome!
  2. My own point is that I'm just tired of all elitists; Yeah, I haven't seen many PC Elitists. Then again, I hardly see console Elitists anymore. Why? Because my online life consists of Hacking, Gaming Communities, Roleplay Communities, and Theater. Not, say, Youtube, Reddit, 4chan, whatever else is full of elitist nonsense. Back when I was present on other sections of the internet, I would always see someone on the latest Skyward Sword pre-release trailer ranting about how hard the Wii sucked and Xbox or PS3 (Never both, mind you) are better. It's just a mindless circle jerk of who has the better console, which in terms of PS3 and Xbox, it's pretty much who likes what about the dashboard or online gaming better. I didn't bring the Wii up because it is a fact that it is inferior to the Xbox and PS3 hardware wise, but it still holds up because of the great games that are available. In the grand scheme of things, just play the game and enjoy and stop going back and forth about what you play it on, because it really doesn't matter in the slightest. tl;dr Elitists of all variety piss me off to no end. Oh, and another note, Branden, I didn't intend to make you think I thought you were a fanboy of anything. I thought I could avert that assumption by telling you I love you. Which I do. Completely.
  3. I highly prefer PC to consoles, myself. I have just about every console under the sun, but I tend to spend most of my life on a computer because I am a lifeless fuckwit with nothing better to do just enjoy the experience more. Yes, you've addressed most of the reasons why, but I have to disagree with your whole blonde hair, blue eyed master race point. I haven't seen any of these master race people anywhere at all, I just see people bitching and complaining about what 7th Gen console is better than the other and how the Wii has herpes or some such. Really, I'm just fucking sick and tired of fanboyism at all. Each console has it's ups and downs, it's pros and cons. Every damn one of them. That doesn't mean any one is better than the other. And in the end, they're all going to piss you off at some point or another, as the higher the tech, the more likely it is to fuck itself over while you sleep. So how about we just fucking play games like a normal ass human being instead of picking sides? Also, Branden, don't take this as an attack to you. I love you man, I'm just sick and tired of fanboys in general and rant about them all the time because I love all of my consoles. ._.
  4. Very old works of Naxy's. He's had a lot more practice since then, and his works are sexy thing wonderful. Practice makes perfect, and later works are always considerably better than earlier works because of this. It just shows how far he and the rest of the team have come, really.
  5. "Leta Saunders, is it?" He paused, taking in the moment, quickly donning a kind smile on his face. "Well, Miss Saunders, I can assure you that I am very real," he stated, handing her his solid black umbrella. "I know you're already completely and totally drenched, you've likely been out in this cold downpour for some time, but it never hurts to shield some of it away," he said, folding her fingers around the hand of the umbrella with his own. "There," he said. "Now, Miss Saunders... why would a young lady such as yourself be all alone in a place like this, under conditions like these?" He asked, cocking his head slightly, staring deeply into her eyes, his eyes holding a strange depth to them, regardless of shallow fog that one would see at a glance.
  6. The man looked at the girl, his glazed over eyes staring into hers. "Blind man?" He asked, pausing for a moment. "Ah, yes. My eyes. Yes, they do appear blind, do they not? But yet... by some..." He paused, smirking a bit before he continued. "Divine providence, they are very capable of sight." He paused for a moment, his smirk turning into a kind smile. "Speaking of eyes... yours are rather nice, I must say. You seem frightened... like you've seen a ghost. Tell me, madam... have you perhaps seen my face before?" He asked, stopping for a moment. "Oh, do please forgive my rudeness. I have forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Ceres... Ceres Mathis, at your service," he said with a tip of his hat. "Pleasure to meat you."
  7. The man looked down at his wrist, pulling his sleeve back and examining his watch. He took in the time, moving his hand back to his side. "This rain surely can make a bit of a ruckus." He grinned again, standing tall and making his way across the road as soon as the green man showed his face. He stopped, looking over the park before stepping in. "Interesting. Some sort of preservation of the local flora?" He questioned, puzzled a bit by the heavily contrasting areas of the dimension he had stepped foot into. "And not a single sentient being in si--" He stopped, noticing a young girl laid out on a green bench in the park. "Perhaps I spoke too soon," he stated, moving towards the girl at a calm pace. He sat down on the bench on the part that had not been occupied by the girl, sheltering her under his umbrella as much as he could. "Hello there, madam."
  8. The green haired man looked around, extended a hand towards the sky. "The rain is falling rather hard... won't be long before I'm soaked." With a gesture of his hand, a black umbrella materialized into his hand, opening itself up within an instant. A smirk was painted onto his face as he held it in one hand, leaning it against his shoulder. "Much better," he stated, putting one foot in front of the other, stepping out of the alleyway and into the open. The rain seemed to fall even harder in the open area. He moved his eyes along the horizon, his eyes freezing on the park directly across the street from him, several vehicles buzzing through the street, as busy as they always were, regardless of the weather. "Well, how about that."
  9. The sky was a very dark shade of grey, a stormy overcast looming in the sky. A bit of rain was pouring, but only a bit. There was a street, running along for a while, houses dotted the sides, running along with the street as far as the eye could see. Albeit, that wasn't very far, as there was a forest not so far away, blocking away any further vision. It was a rather urban place, but not quite a suburb. Whatever you would like to call it, it was there. The rain began to pour a bit more, hammering down onto the ground. All was well, except perhaps the weather. A cold breeze blew through an alleyway, a dazzling orb of light drifting through. It stopped, nowhere that it could be seen. It hummed a bit, bobbing in the air, before it violently expanding into a swirling vortex, a void like opening appearing in the alleyway, a passageway between dimensions. A figure stepped through, towering high, all dressed in black, a fancy hat atop his head, green hair falling out from under it. He moved his gaze up, showing his white, glazed over eyes. He seemed to be blind, but yet, he could see. He brushed himself off, looking around the alleyway, and then up to the sky. A bit of rain dropped onto his face. "Filthy," he muttered to himself, the vortex closed behind him quickly. "I hope the people of this dimension live under... better conditions than whatever trash I have stepped foot in."
  10. Dude. This is obviously a joke on people saying that PSASBR is a ripoff of SSB.
  11. My point exactly. I did bring up that it was only in the US right now, right?
  12. I still have faith in Nintendo and the Wii U, regardless of the Wii Mini and all that. I grew up with them, they saved the video game industry back in the 80's, so on and so forth, and I don't think a few bad decisions, Mario and Wii milking, and not so good Wii U sells are going to turn me off of them. I think they've still got it, and there are still several other countries the Wii U has yet to grace. And the Wii U has a lot of potential. They are taking their sweet time getting games on the 3DS, though, I hope they're a little more prompt with Wii U games. I am particularly hyped for Zelda Wii U for whatever reason, even more so that I was for Zelda Wii way back when. That's just what I think. I still have faith, they're just being stupid right now.
  13. Journal Entry 048 November 29, 1982 Pickles. Pickles, Pickles, Pickles. I have seen many things with these eyes, many terrible, horrible things. The pickles... they’re nothing but monsters. Their red, evil eyes watch me at night while I sleep, their slimy green bodies almost pulsating with pure, unbridled evil. The little beasts are everywhere. Here, in this place... things... things are hard. I hear strange sounds coming this way... I must go now. I fear the shadow... the beasts... those damn pickles are hunting m-- (The journal stopped there, the rest covered with a thick coating of blood. You are not sure how far on the journal went from there.)
  14. This is the randomness sub-forum. There doesn't have to be a point. Edit by sakura: fixed it for you
  15. I'm just gonna throw my two cents in real quick, but I agree with Blinx, that really makes no sense. Selling a unit and losing money because of it just doesn't sound right. It's not like we're talking about Citigroup or something. On the other hand, the fact that the Wii Mini is a thing is really fucking stupid, I have to say. It really makes no sense. What profit could they actually net by making a third generation of a 7 gen console with less than the original one while they had just tossed their first 8th gen home console onto the market? It's just ridiculously stupid. On the other hand, there is a very small benefit to the modding community because of this. Case modders are crazy people. Just think what they could do with this tiny thing. If they can turn an N64 into a functional hand held console, then this would just be nothing to accomplish something similar. But really... that's the only good thing that I can think of.
  16. I'll be getting the game sometime, but up until that point, it does look pretty good. I also need a good bit of time set aside for it. </hecticlife>
  17. Oh, this is just my own personal beef with it and I by no means expect anyone else to feel the same way. As a writer myself, it just makes no sense at all, and that really bugs me, especially with my extreme OCD. It just isn't consistent with anything. You wouldn't expect, say, Jesus of Nazareth to rise from the dead and start talking like a thug, right?
  18. Honestly, in a good bit of cases, at least from what I saw in the trailer, my statement is only mildly exaggerated. Dante: Fuck you! Spider Demon: Fuck you! Dante: FUCK YOU! Spider Demon: FUCK YO-BAAAAAAARF (Yes, there are actual quotes, I shit you not.) Another example would be the Big Bad shown at the end of the trailer. I wouldn't have a problem with the language, but the fact that these are age old demons we're dealing with, it just doesn't make sense that they would have such nasty mouths. People didn't talk like that back then, and someone from that time wouldn't start talking like that. It just all is distasteful to me and doesn't sit well. Not good writing, doesn't make sense. If it were a newage demon or some sort of manmade demon, (like in say, Hellsing, for example), it'd make sense, because they're from this time and age where some people do in fact talk like that. I don't mind Dante's language, because it totally makes sense that he would talk like that, along with his thugish backstory and all that Ninja Theory is giving him. That's what bothers me. Not the design or direction of the game, the dialogue is what bugs me. But hell, I'll still play the game, because it looks like a good game, Devil May Cry or otherwise.
