Ah I see. Well I suppose I'll need to try and figure out how to play it without a controller on this laptop then. Thanks for the info.
-
Fine by me then. I've been itching to play some Rom hacks lately and this one will do quite nicely. I was considering having my brother inject it into a wad on our homebrewed Wii. Can't use controllers on this crummy laptop.

I must say, I'm quite impressed! The maps look good, the replacement for Phantom Ganon is interesting and I quite like the maps and music seen in the second trailer for Patch 1.0. Very promising; looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Just one question, since I don't know much about LoZ mods in general- will it be possible to keep your save data when new patches come out?
-
I suppose I should go next? Name's Okami. Haven't been here since- A. The Ura Project fell apart. B. My Gmod stopped working. I think my most recent interaction with any forum member was with Ganondork on YouTube, and I can't even remember what that was. Apparently forgot I was subscribed to Death Basket too. Don't really have much 3D modelling or rom hacking experience, but am a huge Zelda fan (and a little bit nuts about certain ambiguously or non-canon elements of the franchise), and since picking up MM3D and keeping track of the new additions to Hyrule Warriors (despite not owning it myself since this man has no Wii U)- been wanting to get back onto the forum scene. Can't remember any LoZ forums I'm on except this one- since most of the other ones I used to frequent have long since died off. It's good to be back.

Things that NEED to be done in Wind Waker HD
Okami Takahashi replied to
Conker's topic in General GamingDefinitely re-add some of the scrapped stuff like those dungeons, and that Gamecube Island seen in the concept art, as a throwback of sorts. As for TP, yes, very yes. Nintendo definitely needs to go through with the HD update on. Twilight Princess is one of my top 5 LoZ games (No. 3 to be exact), and though the graphics on the GCN were amazing for said system, it didn't work out so well on the Wii. (The Wii port was VERY lazy and shouldn't even have been made). And of course, why not through some bonus crap in that one too? I.E. the Ordon outfit as an unlockable (dev shots showed Link with the Ordon outfit AND sword), boat fishing in Ordon (and how about making a better fishing rod? The one in TP was kinda lazy). Throw in some of those scrapped enemies. And find a way to implement the Magic meter. I was rather disgruntled that the screenshots on the box showed it, but it was nowhere in game, and only the lazy Wii port had the Green Chu Jelly glitch. -
Hi guys, Dark Horse, the publisher of Hyrule Historia and Valve Presents: The Sacrifice and other Steam-Powered Stories has put up a poll for Round 12 of their VS. Fights, this time, hence the above title, the fight is between Link (SS version presumably) and the CEO of Mann Co, TF2's own Saxton Hale: http://www.darkhorse.com/Blog/1245/dark-horse-vs-round-12-link-vs-saxton-hale Place ya bets, folks. Personally, I absolutely love both TF2 and LoZ, so I was stuck between them. Sure, Link has saved Hyrule several times over through his endless reincarnations during the split timeline, and Saxton's not saved the world even once, but he's accomplished crazy feats with his damn bare hands and is in the TF2niverse, the 3rd or 4th richest man in America. I think Saxton might crush Link so I voted for him, despite his letter to us today stating that Mann Co is retiring some of the hats they're selling now. I've got personal headcanons for both the TF2niverse and LoZ so I have a pretty good self-fabricated idea of how Hale ended up fighting Link. Who do YOU think will win?

Here's 3 of my best recent Gmod shots. Oh, man how much I've improved, and still getting better. Meet the Creepy Sniper Reloaded 3- Hats! Meet the Creepy Sniper Reloaded 6- SAXTON HALE!!! Spies like US- featuring downsized Queen Chrysalis! This last one's my fave because of the DOF effect I used for the background.

Whoa! It's been forever since I've been here. Been so busy. I like the new look. Reminds me of the early 90's somehow, back when my 95 worked. Everything is so...huge!

Shame the guy working on this just flat out gave up on this and Nintendo. This is beautiful.

I might as well take a better look at my grey cart as well.
-
I too have a grey 1.0 cart, or at least I think it is. When my uncle got his Xbox he gave us his N64, which included this. I'm aware of the revisions made to the game later, i.e. replacing the Fire Temple's chanting with the chanting soundfonts from the Shadow Temple and Beneath the Well, and Slugula's were renamed to "Torch Slugs" for some reason, and of course, green blood/barf. 1.0 has red blood. Which is frikkin awesome. Oh wait, the listing's a DEMO cart! Nevermind, then! I don't have that XD

Zelda TP 2005 demo (I don't have it/not asking for it)

Well, that's a bit of a shame. If only there were a way to find out... -

Would be nice if someone still had that. Have you asked the YouTube user in question about it? This thing might have the Beta Forest everyone's been looking for in it! -
And now, a more serious Gmod image. I call it: Third time isn't the charm.
