I have decided to make a Skyward Sword Hacking Thread for everyone to post the hacks they have done, but mostly share information on new things no one knew about. I will be posing here as well, and heres a quick tutorial on how to texture hack Skyward Sword from doombringer for the beginners (model editing as of yet is currently being worked on):

I figured out how days ago, use CT2 to decompress.

Video picks up at about 1:50 Do you guys thinks hacking does more bad than good? Their are the good type hackers and the bad type. I know many of you would consider hacking a good thing, and beleive me I do to, but give a good reason of your opinion.

Arnt they in the objectpack.arc.LZ file?

Not even after the release date? Just save up some money by saving power,saving water, not getting haircuts, somehow, but please don't pirate a game Nintendo has worked their butts on. Its making backupers and people that have already pre ordered the game and plan on downloading it earlier look bad. Those old Zelda games are not selling anymore so its not hurting developers at all, in a way making their series popular, however this is no exception.

Exactly, only use the iso for backup purposes. Or if you already pre ordered it.

Ok this is a bit ridiculous, but Skyward Sword, yes the full game has been leaked on the internet. Soooo, I wouldnt suggest downloading it unless you have already preordered the game. If you have not preordered the game and are planning on dowloading it, no one is responsible other than yourself. Once again its a bit rtidiculouse, but if you have already preordered the game and cant wait any longer go ahead. Me? I dont think im downloading this.

Yup, that game has so much content for a Wii game.

What do you guys want to see in Zelda3ds? Do you want a Toon Link style again? Or do you think thats overused? Birds eye view gameplay, or more like OOT3DS? Adult Link? Young/Child Link?

I tried using CT2 but I could only compress the files, I dont know if this is asking too much, but could you provide a link for your version of CT2 or at least a screen shot of the decompression tab for the .LZ files Il try to pay you back somehow...

Sorry about that, I wasnt logged in when you requested " ObjectPack.arc.LZ", but im glad you got your hands on it, how were you able to decompress it, what tools did you use?

Their is a patch here of someone elses texture edit: link But you wont be able to make your own tunic color for a few days or so, since he wont tell people how he decompiled "ObjectPack.arc.LZ ".

Oh, im sorry to say this, but the tool will decompress anything other than "ObjectPack.arc.LZ ". Im still searching on how to decompress it.

In order to Decompress .LZ to .Arc use "Codec LZSS DS.exe" on it.

I will now try to edit textures on Link.

By taking apart the .LZ files and putting them back together I now can edit anything in the game but for now I will show you guys edited textures: I wrote "test" in red on the texture, and this is the result. I changed the hue of the ground. Heres another pic.
