  1. It's definitely a problem that I can't understand that code pretty much at all. I'm not sure what "global context" is. :/ It kind of brings me down that anything I want to do requires some knowledge that I can't understand, or assembly.
  2. So using this (Bank 07 as an example) It would look like: DB06001C [Address in RAM to load bank] E7000000 00000000 ? I'm not completely sure how doing something like this would specify the Length of this bank, or where I would find a suitable RAM address to use for this bank. If you could, maybe provide a longer example, unless I'm missing something huge.
  3. They're using MP3 files via Plugin. As of right now, the only way to replace the music sequences in-game is to use Messiaen's or DeathBasket's converter for MIDIs.
  4. This is just an Idea that crossed my mind. I know it would probably take an assembly hack, but would it be possible to create a custom bank? For example, 06 bank means inline obj, 04 means in gameplay keep, and so on. I know there is a bank 02-06. There are certain textures and such in gameplay keep, so if you had a DE or an FD command with the 04 bank, it would load a model or a tetxure in gameplay_keep. Lets say I wanted to create, oh, bank 07. It would just be a bunch of different Sword models. Would anyone be willing to look into this for me?
  5. Spinout, you answer my year old question. Thank you so much! But there are still things like the Hookshot spike, and Goron's Bracelet, which I still can't find, but I guess I can look for a corresponding actor. Edit: I can't find a pointer for the Hookshot spike (tip) or the Hookshot chains anywhere in the ROM, unless they use a different bank. Although, for the Goron's Braclet, I did find four possiblities. Bg_Hidan_Firewall (Firewall is obvoius) Bg_Hidan_Rsekizou (Rsekizou I'm just guessing translates to R Stone Statue) Bg_Hidan_Sekizou (Sekizou translates to "Stone Statue") Bg_Hidan_Sima (Sima translates to Shima, which translates to Island) I'm not sure which one would be correct, though, I'd just have to find out. Edit 2: It seems that it's none of those files... :/
  6. Thanks, medli, but that isn't exactly the question that I was asking. Basically, I'm looking for the pointer to the Deku Stick model in code.zdata. If it's not in there, I'm not sure where else to look.
  7. I've taken multiple looks at the wiki, and apparently, those aren't found yet.
  8. The pointer to the Deku Stick model. I can't simply find a 06 6C C0, or the Goron Bracelet for that matter. Everything else is in code.zdata. Why can't I find those two?

    Replacing Navi

    Yeah, pretty much. I asked a question like this a while back, deathbasket directed me to a sound tool for N64 games. I can take the sound from Majora's Mask, and replace Navi's voice clips with it. Music replacement and Sound replacement are, I wouldn't say completely, but very different things. As music a stored in sequences that access certain instruments. The instruments can be made custom by replacing a sound clip. But fkualol didn't do this. I did something similiar to fkualol in this video:

    Replacing Navi

    If Zeth doesn't mind...Which I don't think he would, I'd probably be able to do it. Though, you wouldn't really be replacing Navi with Tatl. You'd be re-coloring Navi and changing her voice.

  23. Depends on what you'd like help with. I can port a -semi-perfect replica of a Beta Sword to Adult Link, or I could just help with Textures in general, whatever.
