  1. ZLE2 can rip the textures, in which you can then edit the PNG files, convert them back to the original format, and then import them back into the ROM.
  2. Video plugins are capable of "replacing" textures in-game with Higher resolution images. The Super-cool things I was referring to, is the fact that you can get a better image with the Hi-res tetxures. But Video plugins don't actually "hack" as they don't do anything to the ROM. With ZAP2, you can "hack" the textures, but you have to keep them the same resolution as the original.
  3. What Naxylldritt suggested is probably what you want to start out with, but if you want to actually hack the textures, you'll need a tool called ZLE2, but with that, you can't do super-cool things with Hi-Resolution textures.
  4. If this is anything like Brawl Vertex hacking, believe me, it's going to take a while. Unless you have magic powers, which you might.
  5. You'll need to add an actor where the Push Blcok is supposed to stay "locked" That actor is (This is the one I found in the Deku Tree, anyway) 017D 0036 FF10 (Actor #, Group) (Variable)
  6. Textures wouldn't be a very swell way to go. I'm currently working some display list ports to make it be adult link, rather than Fierce Deity wearing Adult Link's stuff.
  7. I could be one person to do almost all of that. I have experience in importing music, and I could make custom dungeons. Not sure how to do anything with cut scenes, other than text editing. But I could make a title logo, and be a beta tester. I've done some things at school to help reduce my workload so I won't be quite as busy anymore. I could also do very slight animation edits. (Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "graphics" )
  8. For the project, would you like the Mirror Shield to be blue? I can accomplish that. Nice sprite, BTW!
  9. Same deal with the Giant's Mask. Do you think Link's model is super-huge?
  10. In MM, maybe. His model isn't any bigger than Adult Link in OoT.
  11. It's completely possible. It just depends on a person's opinion on what an Adult MM Link would look like, as you'd have to make your own models, for the most part.

Most of the .arc files in ObjectPack.arc.LZ from Skyward Sword contain .brres files, some containing other files, but a file called PLCompItem.arc contain files called .brresC I don't know, but can anyone help me find something to use on these so I could get their models and/or textures? (If there are any)
  14. If they are, I can't find them, although, I haven't searched -every- file. Edit: I can't find them. Edit again: PLcompItem.arc Edit_Last: That file can't be opened in BRRES Viewer, for whatever reason, I tried using CT2 to grab the file to view it, but that doesn't work. I don't know how to get these models. ALSO YoungLinkx, the user "doombringer" was using a program called SZS Viewer, when you linked to that forum.
  15. Can somebody hook me up with a link to Link's Equipment .arc files? I have some plans to do something, but I need those, and I can't get them myself. Specifically, his swords, and Hylian Shield

Choose from menu: File -> Open, and go to the folder where you have the compressed file and choose it to open, e.g. ObjectPack.arc.LZ 3. You will see the file open in CT2 (like in a hex-editor sub-window), then choose from menu: Tools -> LZ77/HUFFMAN Extract(U) 4. You will be asked for providing a filename, choose any name 5. Then you will be asked whether you want to open it, just click Yes 6. You will get a sub-window with a list of files (the sub-window has two menu choice: File and Edit) 7. Now you could select one or more files from the list and then choose from menu in the sub-window: File -> Export 8. Profit
  17. I used CrystalTile2. And with Brres Viewer you can extract textures from Link and everything. Have fun!

  19. @ younglinkx, can you get me a download link for ObjectPack.arc.LZ? I want to try something, and if it works, I'll tell you how to do it. Thing is, I'm not sure how to get the file myself.

  21. Flotonic made a gameshark code generator before, I'm not sure anyone has it. Although it's pretty simple to do in a Hex Editor like HxD. Give me a day, I'll have one made.
