Make sure you're using the object file and not the actor file. This program is made to work with .ZOBJ and not .OBJ files, at least not yet. You can download object_anubice.zobj at www.spinout.com/mqd/f.html From there, when you open Hylian Toolbox go to File, and then Open. A box will pop up where you can navigate to the file you want to load. You can either double-click on it, or select it and click the Open Button. If that doesn't work, I'll try and get back with you. DeathBasket, those are great ideas and I will definitely suggest them. Suggesting them to Flotonic youself directly may be the best way to go. I'm sure Version 2 will be released before the "Work will only be continued if our users post some cool stuff made with this program, so give these tutorials a whirl!" starts taking effect. Version 2 isn't likely to support matrices, but Vertex Colors, OBJ Importing, and the rest of the mentioned features will definitely be included. I'm not sure what you mean by typing everything in by hand, however. The + and - buttons next to rotations and positions, as well as the arrow buttons next to the Display Lists and Animations seem to be self-explanatory.

NPCs, Cutscenes, Level Creation, and Quest Beginning
SanguinettiModsreplied to Samurai's question in Q & AIf Scroll of Time isn't working for you, I suggest using DeathBasket's Text Tool which can be found in the community downloads section here. NPC model creation is something that may become pretty easy soon, but as of now, only tedious display list porting and there isn't any kind of tool to easily write custom AI. JSA had written a cutscene tool that I have no idea how to use. You can record camera movements with the Debug Camera, but beyond that, I have no idea. These other things I think can be found on the Z64 Wiki. -
I'll offer to import the music for you, if you want. You'd have to ask them for MIDI files.

That's what the Z64 Wiki is for. But not very many people contribute to it as of late.

Scroll of Time, New OoT Text Editor!
SanguinettiModsreplied toSanguinettiMods's topic in Community ProjectsSamurai, The "PRESS START" and "File Select" Text relies on text in the text bank. The error is somewhere else. -
Trudging through the battlefield and all this destruction; I find my way to a large mound sticking up from the ground. As I get closer, it becomes clearer and clearer to me that this is none other than... My Hill.
-
I can't really help you there, but there is a newer and slightly buggy program buried in the community projects called "Pierre's Ocarina Studio". You can fine tune the output in a Hex Editor when you're finished.
-
If you don't, I could port it and edit the colors.
-
Scroll of Time is a perfectly functioning program. Like both of them said, it's probably your ROM. If it isn't, you could be doing something wrong when editing the text. Otherwise I can't help.

She would have a huge head. Don't get me wrong.

Scroll of Time, New OoT Text Editor!
SanguinettiModsreplied toSanguinettiMods's topic in Community ProjectsIt's written in C, but it isn't -my- program, so I don't have the source code. I was just a major contributor and was asked to release it here. -
I made it to five minutes, roughly.
-
I was horsing around and... Course, I could make a better logo if I tried harder.
-
An old method I made a while back...
-
I like this list.
-
Via a program, PPF-O-MATIC. How else were you planning to release this mod; By giving people the edited ROM? That's usually a no-no.
-
Indeed; Texture packs aren't really a good thing to release with a mod patch. They kind of get obscured, and quite frankly, it's annoying to switch video plugins. A tool called ZLE2, and I think there are other little things, an example on Maco are tools by SoulofDeity can aid in injecting textures, although they will not be hi-resolution.

!IMPORTANT! Prevent mods from freezing on some emulators.
SanguinettiModsreplied to john_smith_account's question in Q & AThey probably will get it on Nemu. Though you can try using this code, and then everything should be dandy. Otherwise, it's just Nemu being an arse. 8022414B 0002 -
!IMPORTANT! Prevent mods from freezing on some emulators.
SanguinettiModsreplied to john_smith_account's question in Q & AIf you don't feel like switching plugins, go to an area where you can't see very much geometry. For example, if you're in Hyrule Field, go right up against the wall to where you can't see anything other than the wall, not even the sky, and it should work. -

SanguinettiModsreplied to Shadow Fire's topic in The Central HubI...met someone. </SlowDancing> I'm doing it right. -
I see myself as an older being, although I'm only thirteen. Edit. Solid. I fear drowning. Lemon or Lime?

I'm not a brony, but the newer one, of course. Cheesecake or Cheese on a cake?
