I always love seeing your work, Airkita.

Welcome to the GCN! I hope you enjoy your stay. -- Transmitted by an ancient satellite from across the cosmic web. Or my cellphone, if you prefer.

In all honesty, I just don't see the internet in its uncensored form making it out of this safely.
-
I like it when women pleasure me in the most public of locations.

S'all good, bro. 8D -- Transmitted by an ancient satellite from across the cosmic web. Or my cellphone, if you prefer.

People, listen to this man above me. He knows his way around some Blinx.

Feel free to disagree with me, but I've gotten tired of Mario. With me, it's the same feeling as having too much of, say, my favorite snack; I get sick of it after a while, and need to take a long break from it. I got sick of Mario, and need to take a really long break from him. I dunno, maybe five, six months at most. Also, I am a true fan, and will gladly whine and complain when one of my most loved series from them goes largely ignored(Star Fox). I'm sorry, but that doesn't make me any less of a fan, Shadow. -- Transmitted by an ancient satellite from across the cosmic web. Or my cellphone, if you prefer.

Well, the administration does that job excellently, so I wouldn't really say it's my place. But thanks. 8D

Possibly the most hilarious movie I have ever seen..
Conkerreplied to Jason777's topic in RandomnessIf this is what Adult Swim's Black Dynamite cartoon is based off of, then it must be pretty damn funny. I shall give this a watch whenever possible. -
Welcome to the GCN, and thanks! Do you enjoy long walks on the beach? I do, too.
-
I guess. I appreciate that, thanks. Anyways, I dunno; it's going to be hard to do, since, like I said, the whole "blunt" and "strongly worded" thing is my personality, so to even tone it down a bit will take a bit of time. This is awkward, but I am your mom. :x Clean your room right this instant, young man. But in all seriousness, thanks.
-
I am, but my intentions are not to be an ass. That right there, is what I'm trying to make clear. That's my personality, and a lot of the times, it shows on the internet. I just don't feel I should have to change it because some people think I'm trying to be an ass, so I made this topic. (also, thanks; blunt was one of the words I was looking for, but it didn't come to my mind for some reason)
-
Do I sometimes come off as an ass on this place? Well, I'm not trying to be; I word things strongly, and while I understand how it can make me seem like an ass at times, I am by no means trying to actually be one. Sure, I disagreed/argued/whatever with you, without morphing my personality into some fake "butterfly kisses and gummy bears" thing that is totally not me. Whoopty-do. Just note (AGAIN) that when I may come off as strong/hard/harsh/whatever, I'm not trying to be an ass I mean, unless I'm blatantly throwing an insult at you(which I've stopped doing here months and months ago, that was the old me), I'm not being an ass to you. Word up, bitches.

Inserting bolded red text into this quote to call you out on all of your nonfactual points.

Whether or not it's too late to play the game is for you to decide. If you're only wanting to play it because of all the excitement that surrounded it, however, then it might as well be too late, because most of that died off.

Lord almighty, I'D KILL for a new Blinx game from Microsoft; those games were fun, and unique. Years later, no new games, and they let Blinx die, even after trying to make him their mascot. -- Transmitted by an ancient satellite from across the cosmic web. Or my cellphone, if you prefer.

I don't ever recall telling you not to speak your opinion(not that I even can tell you what to do, did people forget I'm not a staff member anymore?). I was just saying you don't have to get so up in arms about someone not sharing yours. Basically, your post made it seem you were looking down on xdan for not liking Nintendo as much as you, which is, you know... meh? That's how I interpreted it, at least. -- Transmitted by an ancient satellite from across the cosmic web. Or my cellphone, if you prefer.

Uhm, ebil, if he's losing faith in Nintendo, that's what he believes. You don't have to get up in arms about it. ANYWAYS, last night I was typing something up on my phone, but the damn thing froze and restarted on me before I could finish! Time to type it here on my computer: I agree with a lot of your points, xdan. And, in fact, I'm losing a lot of faith in Nintendo, as well. Let's face it: they're letting some of their best franchises die, and that is not okay with me at all. I haven't seen a proper Star Fox game in a very long time, and one never even released on the fucking Wii, for crying out loud. No, Star Fox 64 3D doesn't count, since it's just a remake(with butchered voice acting, to boot). And as far as the Wii U goes? Well, from what I hear, we may not see Star Fox on there, either; Miyamoto is just throwing it around as a possibility(last I looked, anyways. may be different now). And of course, let's not forget all other ignored franchises(F-Zero, like xdan brought up, just as an example). I'm going to say it now, because I'm sick of hiding behind this stupid "Mario is so awesome!" guise: Mario sucks. In recent years, the Mario games have sucked, and WILL suck for a long time; Nintendo milked that franchise beyond recovery, if you ask me, and for what? Only to let other good franchises go ignored? I think they need to pound the nails in Mario's coffin, because the viewing is over, and it's time to ship him off to his burial site. Now, about Zelda, I'm actually okay with this series. Each entry feels new, and fresh, and not as nearly played out as a Mario game. But honestly, it annoys the fuck out of me that we can all expect the inevitable Mario and Zelda games on the Wii U, but the same cannot be said(inevitable, I mean) about other franchises, like Star Fox, F-Zero, Kid Icarus, and so on. We can only hope, and that's all. And about the Wii U: in all honesty, I'm getting it just for third party games, with a few Nintendo titles here and there(thinking Zelda, and hopefully a Star Fox game, Metroid, ect.) And I feel I need to comment on the bit about Skyward Sword's controls: At first they were great, but I eventually grew tired of them. I mean, fuck, really? AI have to recalibrate my damn Wiimote almost every two minutes, whereas I've NEVER had that problem with other Motion Plus games. Ugh.

Eh... in my honest opinion, this game isn't scary. -- Transmitted by an ancient satellite from across the cosmic web. Or my cellphone, if you prefer.

Well, honestly, when the Vita's ads do play, they're pretty good, and are much better than that of the PS3's(the majority of those are major, "What the fuck?" ads, that make you wonder how it will sell the console). Though, the only two I know of, is one from months ago that played frequently enough, but for some reason, eventually stopped. No idea why. Months later, the one I recently saw, was an Assassin's Creed III: Liberation(great game) ad, which did a good job of advertising both the game and the system. It seemed to be playing pretty frequently after I first saw it, but it was really late at night, so I dunno how much it will play during the day(it better play a lot), but only time will tell. Anyways, I worry for the Vita; it needs some serious backing from Sony, and they damn well better give it the backing it needs.
-
The game is pretty amazing, I agree. Anyways, just as a bit of friendly advice, why not use the review template? http://www.the-gcn.com/forum-33/announcement-3-review-template/
-
You have a valid point, but that's not what sakura was saying. She was saying, that because the 3DS has advertising, people actually know that it exists. The Vita, on the other hand? Well, because of its massive lack of advertising, hardly anyone knows it exists(at least compared to other consoles). You cannot tell me that the lack of advertising is good for the Vita. That's just illogical. The fact the Vita is one of Sony's worst-selling consoles to date is very troubling, and that's because of their lack of advertising, among other things(these things are not relevant to the topic, so I shall not bring them up). Don't get me wrong, I love my Vita; it's the best portable system I've owned in the entirety of my life, I just feel Sony is doing a joke of a job handling it in the market.
-
Yeah, I can ask a lot of people about the Vita, and they'll have no idea what it is.
-
Uh, I'm sorry, but no advertising is never a good thing. Certainly not better than a competitor's ad, bad as it may be. Why would you think that? :S
-
The first PS Vita advertisement I've seen in months! Basically, what I'm saying (in a very smart-ass way) is that Sony is killing this amazing portable with its major lack of advertising. Ugh. -- Transmitted by an ancient satellite from across the cosmic web. Or my cellphone, if you prefer.
