Fair enough. I guess you can consider a lot of the trophies to be canon, although I can't say whether what you, Octorock and Pinkie says is true, as I only look at trophies for their looks(I never read them). They look awesome.

I pretty much mean full-on medieval fantasy, and not only elements. :/ Besides, more recent Final Fantasy games(that I know of) have long long since deviated from the medieval times. EDIT: Actually, my entire point is bad, now that I think of it. The Legend of Zelda games are about as medieval as they can get there, though the way Elder Scrolls does it, I can imagine them not being as popular.

I personally like the gameplay(as you do), but also the story and everything. Although, I'll admit to not playing very long, but it's because I barely touch my Wii. But in the end, the Metroids I prefer over any other, are the Prime games(1-3 only). They are to me, the best Metroid games ever.

The only Vita games I am going to get(of course, I mean AT FIRST) whenever I actually own a Vita, are: Killzone Mortal Kombat Final Fantasy X Uncharted: Golden Abyss And game series I would like to see on the Vita: Grand Theft Auto Saints Row Star Wars Elder Scrolls(something like the PSP game that got canceled, but actually open world). I can think of more for both lists, but meh, too lazy.

I still don't think it would have any effect, unless you get extremely emotionally attached to who you play as. For me, it's just another model walking through map after map; size doesn't do a thing for me in regards to making the world feel bigger.

Uhm, I think what he meant was since every Toon Link we've seen is a child, he is a kid form of Link, therefore, he is "young Link". Also, I am really curious why you're pushing your child immersion theory off as fact, when it is an opinion. :/ It makes no difference to me how old the character is, and let me tell you something important: It's very hard to find signs of a mute maturing, and just because they went off on a big adventure, it doesn't mean they did/will.

I disagree. For one, the idea of young Link changing the feel of the world makes no sense to me. And second, I always prefer my protagonists to be adults in Zelda games.
